Costa Coffee in Central Bedfordshire

I had lost my money belt and called the manager Kobus who had my money belt safe in his possession. I drove an hour to pick it up. What an amazing man indeed. So of course we stayed for lunch and just could not thank Kobus enough for safeguarding our holiday money!

The most rude, unfriendly Costa. Older lady with purple hair so unhelpful she snappy. Asked if any brown toast and just snapped No!! Asked to add another drink on and rolled eyes! Get a new job if your not happy!

Super friendly staff made all the difference on a late night stop at the services

I think this place might have a new owner or management. The friendly familiar staff were not there and only 2 people behind the counter. 1 was being trained, so despite the fact there were no queues, it still took longer than when there were 3 or 4 people waiting.

They don't know how to make coffee

Ignored for 25 min in que. Then told machine not working even tho they where making coffees. Worst Costa in UK avoid avoid avoid.

Very poor, one of the worst we have been in. At 13:00 on a weekday it was virtually void of customers which says it all. The sausage baps were not as tasty as they are in other Costa Coffees. They were virtually cold.

Good Costa Coffee outlet in Toddington Services, M1 Northbound. Stopped off after a drive up from Basingstoke for tea & a wee, as you do!! The women working the counter did a good job and the one on the coffee machine chatted to me while she was gathering our tea things on a tray. Great service and a friendly word. It really helps to brighten the day!! Good job! Definitely 4-stars. Thanks to the team there.

Nothing to complain about. Good service, same quality you get from Costa anywhere in Uk.

As a night time hgv driver, Costa is my go to place at Moto service stations. However, Toddington northbound often has staff in there that say they're closed as they're on their break. I don't begrudge anyone taking a break, but at night, they're not necessarily rushed off their feet all night are they?! I can't use the express machines as I need the soya milk, so quite often, I have to go without, which is pretty appalling ready tbh, as the company advertise that its OPEN 24hrs at all moto services.

30 minutes for 3 coffees - wish I was joking Absolute joke

Having stopped for a quick coffee break on our travels North our coffee order was misplaced so we had an extra wait. No fault of the staff who were overworked. Costa need to better staff their shops and stop taking advantage of the easy money made out of motorway stations. Senior management at Costa - come on, staff your stores better and take the pressure of the young guys working hard for you!

Low on a lot of food and drink at around 16.30. Ordered to small cream frappes, but run out of cream and still charged full price for both - over £9.00!

Went to this Costa last night at around midnight. The person who was working was amazing, even though the queue was around the corner. She didn't stop for a second and was incredibly friendly and polite. She obviously hadn't had a break for a long time. If I was in her position I would not be happy, she needs a medal for keeping up her customer service skills. Didn't seem fair to leave her alone, working non-stop to serve every customer coming to the services. Costa should take a look at supporting their staff before they lose a good person.

Two guys on the floor- on guy on the till and girl on espresso machine. Doing all the best what they can. 15+ people waiting in the cue. And then I see lady coming out from office, say something to girl on the floor and just goes away. Then another girl comes out from office and disappears in to nothing. I don't know how it works today, but when I used to work in coffee shop priority was to serve customers. And then you take you brake. This is not only disrespect to your colleagues on the floor, bit also to all customers waiting in the queue.

I mean, nice enough staff, however I believe a corpse would probably serve coffee at a higher rate than this bunch. They seem to be competing for the sloth annual awards.

The worst hot chocolate I've ever had, tasted like warm milk and my wife's latte was not much better. Staff need training. Asked for full fat milk and got semi skimmed. Call onto Watford Gap, much better there.
