A really nice Costa with well made drinks, good food and really nice and friendly staff. Perfect location too (just on the inside of West Quay by Waterstones) ✨️

Good experience for a coffee and cake and enjoy a conversation with friends and family so why not give it a try when you go in to your local coffee shop

Was handy to get a quick drink and cake.

Lady in charge was extremely rude to all customers, banging cups down and generally in a huffy mood. Returned black coffee as was luke warm, she refused to even acknowledge it for at least 5 minutes even though another member of staff passed her the returned coffee! Whole place was a mess and freezing cold due to broken doors nearby.

This costa shop had the most unfriendly crews ever i had,im a costa lover but this one makes me a nightmare during my experienced. I will not go here again. Hope the owner or management will some action with all the crews who are the not customer driven,

I was with my two children and they were very accomodating, bringing my drink to my seat

Got here first thing so it was pretty quiet but soon developed quite a queue. Coffee was very strong for my liking and I should have asked them to leave a bit more room for more milk. That being said they did remember to shake the oat milk before pouring (if you know, you know) and were happy to provide more when I asked.

rude staff. After lady had finished avoiding the increasing line behind me by fake laughing with her colleague/friend i was met with a clearly very miserable face. card machine was slow which was not her fault obviously however when i was charged for my vanilla iced latte informed by my bank notification, she claimed the transaction had never gone through so i needed to pay again, i was not comfortable with doing this as i didn’t want to be charged again. Transaction fees eventually went through and i received my drink very quickly thankfully as i did not want to spend any more time at this costa. Drink was good however do not recommend. Wish i went to the costa in the food court instead.

Cash only. Card machine not working. Then waited almost 20min for four drinks and received a lukewarm iced coffee. Terrible experience.

Shout out to Cody who makes the best Iced tea, I’ve been to other Costas before but not as good as the one she made. She is always friendly kind and helpful. I have to say she is a credit to costa you’re lucky to have her she is amazing!!

Terrible. The food had flys crawling on it. The staff were not interested at being helpful or friendly at all. We went on a Friday where we could get a cake for £1 with a drink. This was not offered to us, we had to ask about it. Leanne the Store Manager appeared to not be enjoying her job at all whilst she was serving us. Chocolate Tiffin was stale.

We had two lattes & a hot chocolate with a disappointingly small spray of cream on the top, nothing like the photos on the wall. Latte's had no body & were like dishwater. Have previously visited here & it has been good. What a shame.

Ordered today and half the order was chucked due to poor packaging it was late and my lattee was cold and what a surprises no refund won't be returning

I’ve been couple of times but I’m very disappointed I’ve asked for a cortado and they give me a late instead I will never buy again

The staff were wonderful . The card machine had gone down and could only take cash , the queue was long but they all kept their calm and were remarkable. Hats off to them . It was tough .

Ordered chai latte, received warm milk.

Awful service asked for sandwiches they said they don’t have it I showed them give them to warm it up they throw the packs of sandwiches near microwave give me the dirty tray with coffee if I can I literally give them 0 never had this experience before in Costa west quay down stair coffee customer service is just so bad

I went to another costs in town and they made me wrong drink. So I went up in Westquay and asked if they could do anything and they said no. I'm quite disappointed as I wanted a mint choc chip frappe and it doesn't even taste like mint

The costa below Bargate Southampton was friendly and inviting well done staff on duty 👏 today keep it up👍

Been going to this costa for sometime - day trips to Southampton. It's such a lovely atmosphere and amazing customer service.

Convenient rest stop for me and my pregnant wife. Staff were very welcoming and nice

As always, the service was excellent. The staff are always pleasant and polite.

Messed up the order so got them to change it and then gave us a incomplete order, the drinks wasn't finished off. Cutlery not been cleaned properly. Don't mind queuing for a while but at least get the orders right. It's not about how fast you can get the drinks out its about the drinks being 100% correct.

Long queues as with most Costa went to John Lewis much better.

I went in Costa (Next) branch for my usual cup of chocolate. I like Costa chocolate and I like the way they serve it in a large bowl. Just the job for Autumn.

No vegan options at all. Disappointing

A range of smaller and larger tables ideal for those looking to do a spot of work whilst having a fee hot drinks. Unlike the lower floors 5g and 4g reception works well up here. Drinks are standard Costa so decent coffees and tea in a pot! I agree with some of the comments that cleanliness is not brilliant. I went when it was quiet so no real excuse for tables not being wiped down but I guess their staff are probably still learning the ropes.

Fast service, no queue. Recommended for a recharge whilst shopping!!

I actually love going to this Costa. It's clean, efficient service and the staff are great. They're friendly, chatty and just seem like good people. Never had a bad experience in here and I go here most days.

Great drinks, however not the standard of cleanliness expected considering we are just coming out of a pandemic. Looks like the table hasn't been cleaned since the pandemic began.

This outlet is one of the best Costas in town.

Not impressed by lack of empathy for those with disabilities considering the journey that's required from entering the store and the actual location of costa within it. To discover the lack of seating available and obvious disregard for the effort it took me to get there didn't go down well. Maybe a sign indicating limited seating at the entrance to the store might help those struggling with mobility. Not impressed costa!

Came here with a friend today and was shocked to see how Dusty the place was . We sat down a the Table and the ledge was thick with Dust ... With the Current Pandemic Situlation the Resturant should be Spotless . I mentioned this to the staff he replied it was done this morning.. Well after 44 years of being a Cleaner That ledge hasn't been cleaned for Weeks!! Glad I don't drink or eat anything from Costa.

The coffee actually tastes horrendous. Please teach the male barista how to actually make coffee, because it's really bad. The service is pretty good in the there but jeez I don't enjoy the coffee. Also not really anywhere to sit but it is covid season so can't really blame them for that.

This costa is located next to foodcourt. We ordered spicy capucino, iris velvet capucino, and black forest choc. Akber served it very well. Perfect mixed without additional sugar. We love it!! Thank you Akber.

I go frequently to this costa coffee. Great variety of hot/cold drinks, snacks, and cakes. Environment: relaxing. Quality of drinks: High Quality of sandwiches (I usually take ham and cheese toast): High Quality of cakes: High Tip: if you go on Saturday morning, go early. Otherwise, it is not guaranteed that you will find a free table.

We love Costa Coffee....and would spend more time and money there...but....sadly they don't sell healthy options for food choices.

Like all the other Costa Coffee shops you know you're going to get good service and nice coffee and pastries.

I ordered a Latté and a ripple cake. The cake was so delicious and tasty and it was freshly baked. The latté at costa is just next level ! They use very high quality coffee beans there. Thumbs up for costa.

I recommend buying your cakes and coffees elsewhere. Worst coffee I have ever drank... I am not sure there was actually any coffee in my drink! The staff were all joking around and not to bothered about serving the customers. Sorry Costa sort this out!

Good place to eat at, friendly staff, & great customer service!

This Costa is nice and big with downstairs, outdoors and upstairs seating. The staff are normally friendly and they have a good range of food and drinks. I really like their chai latte. They aren't dog friendly but you can sit outside.

Love this place, great drinks, professional but friendly staff, my 3yr old Grandson loves having his Hot Chocolate Baby Macochino with a marshmallow.
