Costa Coffee in Epping Forest

Airy and relaxing and happy to sit on my own without feeling awkward . The staff is happy to serve.

Thank you Fabrizia for making my coconut milk latte just the way I like it. We always like to spend an hour or so at Costa Coffee on Loughton High St over the weekends if we are in the area doing our regular classes. Lovely shop, lovely staff and even nicer if you can snag a seat by the window in the sunshine.

Staff are great here and always make me feel welcome and remember my order. They always remember to add the eco beans to my account when I bring reuseable cups too!

I ordered 2 caramel Frappuccino’s and with coffee for me and my boyfriend. I even said with coffee even though the staff member never asked. I was then given strawberry Frappuccino’s and no coffee. My boyfriend is allergic to strawberry and proceeded to panic so I said let me go ask for new ones. When they gave me my order they even shouted out “2 caramel frappes”. I took my order back and said that “I cannot taste coffee and they both taste like strawberry.” They said “there is no strawberry’s just caramel.” I said “I know that’s what I ordered but I can taste strawberry so maybe the machine wasn’t cleaned out properly but I am not sure” At this point they proceeded to interrupt me and tell me to take it anyways. I then said “no can I please have a new one.” They then said to me “you should’ve ordered with coffee” I then said “I did” they said “I didn’t” and “I said you never asked me anyways so I made sure that I said I wanted coffee.” I asked for cream in both, and both cups are half way filled with cream. What didn’t help was there was people waiting at the till to be served and no one was there to serve them. In the photo I have given. The rest of what is in my cup is cream.

Can’t really judge this on ceiling fallen in due to leak and so we couldn’t take a leak! still very pleasant staff!

Called in for a specialist coffee and was served by a friendly and highly efficient guy named Peter. Nothing was too much trouble for this splendid gentleman. I wasn't in the store long, but left with the most brilliantly tasting coffee...excellent. Without doubt if all the staff can make coffee as well as Peter, then Costa in Loughton will be my go too coffee shop. Excellent work Peter.

Good products for naughty treat

Friendly staff, nice sweet treats, pleasant coffee and a clean and spacious place to sit and relax. It could be cosier but it's fine. There's a good range of food and drinks to choose from.

We stopped for quick hot drink, the staff were friendly and there was plenty of seating available, nice little branch we will visit again.

Customer service is so rude and unacceptable. The coffee maker hates his job. How can you make coffee and not be happy with what you do ….. this explains why my cappuccino was off i wish i took a photo before returning it

Costa coffee is my choice of coffee shops. The Loughton CC, have got to know and remember my name and in some cases remember my preferred drink. This is done too several customers. The coffee is always first class and the staff treat you as if your popping around there house for coffee ☕️. This is a truly award winning place. Well done one and all.... Gerry

Cleanliness wasn't a problem, the staff were friendly and the food was decent. Seating was also fine, abd because it isn't that busy, even during lunch, you can always find a seat and that is something you never have to worry about. Would recommend if you're in the area but unsure what food/drink you are looking for.

I unfortunately didn't get the right order and paid far to much because i had to order something else to eat and that and my hot chocolate tasted delicious but items not being delivered is not a good excuse!!!

The place was not clean. Cutlery was nasty. There coffee was no taste.

Rude customer service, I was asking for a tea. And could not understand the waiter. She was rude after I asked why the price was high, as she just gave me a size I didn’t want, and I had to pay the higher price

China ware wasn't clean, pastry was stale, won't be going here again.

Comfortable and socially distanced. WiFi which is free cuts out after 2 hours bit after 15 mins you can just reconnect. Opening times are not as per the Google for the time being.

It is quick , good , amazing and they have great customer service which will make you come again and again but it is little pricey but worth every penny to spend there. I have been there and brought chocolate twist for £1.90 which is worth it. The people are friendly , kind , understanding , respectful and sociable. You go there once , you will have friends for life as time goes pass by for years. Take your family and friends there because they can provide the best pastries , coffee and hot chocolate for joyous days ahead of you. I never regret going there for life. The place is clean , tidy , modern , unique , sleek , joyous , good , great and amazing because they always know how to make their store look good. It is attractive store for anyone who wants to buy good dessert and coffee which is their best thing to buy , if you going to buy something from there in any situation. You will have the best experience of life because they always serve you with a smile and polite to you which is a positive experience that you want for life. Do not avoid this place.

Loads of seating even with the pandemic, hot chocolate is absolutely lovely, bit stingy on the marshmallows though

Relaxing place for a cuppa coffee

We asked for gluten free cake and we got vegan cake. My friend ended up being sick. Dreadful service :(

No croissants which was part of offer...Hard to get Barista to understand me....

Was served coffee in an unwashed cup with apparent lipstick mark. Lady who served the coffee was so unfriendly that I didn’t even bother raise the matter. My first and last visit.

i try to avoid costa whenever i can but planned to meet a friend and he insisted on costa! god only knows why! if you know about coffee costa is the last place you would visit awful and the coffee has no crema

Great tea (I don't drink coffee) and it is so often a second thought in coffee chains also a fab meal deal :)

Costa immediately need to improve cleanliness, staff attitude and the its food variety. I am planning to stop going there altogether. I reduced my visits already. Coffee started to taste bitter, or maybe my taste buds aged.
