Amazing food and staff!!! Ahmet served us - he was brilliant , so friendly and welcoming and made sure that we were looked after right from the start

Food tasted good but very much on the top tier of premium prices . Service was good and the outside had an amazing layout with the fire you can sit by. Certainly not place the regular person can visit anytime is a catered towards a certain demographic target audience so the business model is working. Would also say to improve the lighting as with a big group it is not ideal to have dim lighting like your on a romantic meal.

First time at sheesh Chigwell, treated my son for his birthday. Food was great tasty, great selection of starters. The service was second to none. Marco was very attentive!

The food was very tasty, but very overpriced. Also the prices of the drinks, unbelievable that you dare to ask that. Service was very good, maybe a bit too much; Let us talk and don't ask 20 times if we want anything else, you will hear it automatically. Even if you bring the bill, let us check and discuss before you stand on my neck with your PIN machine. I thought the music was too loud, which made talking with friends very tiring, and you had to shout. All in all we had a wonderful evening, partly because of our company. (tip: lower your prices, then your restaurant will be full)

We had a very nice experience overall, food was very nice, service was very good, and a nice atmosphere. We went there for my wife’s 60th, and it was a night we will certainly remember. We will very highly recommended.

I went here for my birthday with family. Place has a great vibe and is very aesthetically pleasing. They have nice decor and some classic American cars out front to see. The atmosphere resembles quite a dark and mysterious environment. The lighting is purposely kept low and the aesthetic matches that. The attention to detail is very nice and we were seated in the conservatory. The service was great, Marco did a great job, helping with pictures and anything we needed. The food was great too, I would recommend the kofte more, the red meat dishes were really nice as compared to the chicken in my opinion. The prices are going to be on the higher side but that was expected. Be prepared. I think it's worth it for the experience and the environment. The portions are nice, could do with less salad and more meat and possibly more lipie bread but that does not take away the quality. Nice bathrooms too. Overall a great experience.

My third time here and probably my last. Food was very good but previous visits some years ago was outstanding. The famous dream cakes were very dry. Love the experience as a whole if you have never been to Sheesh but the restaurant was very quiet. Maybe it’s time has passed?

I took my wife for a dinner at the Sheesh Chigwell. Too dim light to even see the food we were eating ! I asked for chicken sheesh, they got me a boneless chicken thighs instead! Then when I was eating, I felt something crunching under my teeth though boneless chicken is supposed to be soft, not hard!! I didn’t know what it was! I just swallowed it! Not having enough light when u eat is a very stupid thing, and tells you a lot about who is managing this restaurant!!! I will never ever visit this place for food again!! Of note, we paid each about £75! I don’t think it’s worth it!!

Good Food, but Unacceptably Rude Service and Poor Complaint Handling I recently had lunch at Sheesh London, and while the food was of good quality, the experience was unfortunately marred by exceptionally poor service. During our business lunch, the waiter was incredibly rude to my guests and me—throwing cutlery on the table and responding dismissively when we questioned his behavior. His conduct left us embarrassed and uncomfortable throughout the meal. Following the visit, I reached out to the management team to address this issue. However, despite multiple emails and follow-ups, their response was deeply disappointing. They conducted what they claim to be an "internal investigation" and concluded that the service was up to their standards, completely disregarding the unacceptable behavior we experienced. Despite acknowledging my right to escalate the issue, they refused to offer any compensation or a meaningful apology. While the food itself was good, a dining experience is about more than just what's on the plate. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to address valid customer concerns means I cannot recommend Sheesh. I had hoped for a more professional and respectful response from a restaurant of this caliber, but sadly, the service and handling of my complaint fell far short of expectations. I won’t be returning, and I urge potential diners to be cautious if they value good service and customer care as part of their dining experience.

Bruno was absolutely brilliant, was very quick with orders and checking everything was all ok, quick to notice if we needed another drink! Food was unreal as always, and every worker there was very polite and helpful! Would always recommend sheesh Chigwell to everyone!

If you want to be screwed over for very average Turkish food then this is your place. We went for my sisters 40th birthday and i wish we had stuck to a more local restaurant that would have provided us with better quality food and would have been a fraction of the price. This place is not for children, we were charged £50 a head for the kids ( same price as the adults set meal) and the portions were very average and small. Basically charged adult prices for kids portions! Lamb sis had to be sent back as was pink with blood even though we requested to be well done! Not sure what a rare sis would come out like maybe the lamb would still be walking on your plate! Starters are rubbish, no humus here... surely that is a prime starter in a turkish restaurant. Pastas on the menu are tasteless and dry even though advertised on the menu in sauces! Waiter wasnt sure how many starters come with a party menu and kept telling us it is up to the chef! Sorry if i am paying £50 a head for the kids then i expect to know how many and what starters will come. We werent allowed to bring the cake in to the restaurant " due to allergies" however their signature dessert came out covered in NUTS! make it make sense! The best thing about this restaurant was the Magician nice man and kept us entertained for a short period but apart from that please do not waste your money! Was charged almost £100 for service charge even though we made our selves clear that we werent happy. Rubbish

Enjoyed every bite of my meal. Amazing service from Bruno, took care of us whilst we dined. Made sure our table was clear for our next course and checked on us throughout the evening. Definitely coming back again

The restaurant is fabulous, had a great evening celebrating our friends big 50. Couple of disappointments: 1. The menu is very limited for the choice on starters. Removing the flaming cheese from the menu was a massive disappointment. 2. The restaurant itself is way too dark …. You cannot even see the menu without using your phone torch. The bathrooms are also ridiculously dark …

Birthday dinner in picadilly branch and couldnt of asked for a better service. From the point of calling weeks prior to make the reservation right up till the night itself. Great customer service from olivia and claire. On the night great food, drinks, Service and Dj. The staff are so polite, Brooklyn, mustafah were so helpful. We had a great time and the party menu between 16 people was alot of food, not dissapointed at all, the atmosphere was good. Dj playing all genres of music, this is most defo a place to have a birthday celebration as it caters to all, thankyou to Dylan and his amazing team. Il defo return as will some of the guests who attended for my birthday.

Sheesh is a beautiful restaurant in a good location. The atmosphere is amazing I can’t fault it aesthetically. We were given bread on the house but this was without any kind of dip / oil or butter which is unusual in my experience. We bought a bottle of wine for £50 when we looked this wine up to purchase again as we liked it we found it online for £12.75 that’s a very high profit margin. The food was ok I wasn’t blown away and wouldn’t return for the food however The cocktails were lovely. It was a good experience but for £242 not worth it in my opinion.

Recently moved to the Chigwell neighbourhood, this was our first visit as a family, and we were impressed by the whole experience, starting from the location of the restaurant, the ambience, to the service, and eventually the food. As a middle-class family, the food is a little pricey, but the portion size compensates and does full justice. Whilst ths isn't a place that I will visit often but surely on our list for celebrations. We are non drinkers, but the outdoor area with fireplace felt warm and lovely to hang around. Amazing crowd, for sure.

Sheesh Chigwell is perfect for a date night or birthday meal experience or simply going out for drinks with friends. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from such as truffle chips and lobster pasta with truffle. The portions for sheesh are very filling and good size.The staff is attentive and friendly, providing excellent service from the moment you walk in and the doormen take your outer wear. I highly recommend Sheesh Chigwell for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The wine and cocktail list is filled with loads of great options. The interior is very stylish and the dimmed lighting creates a romantic atmosphere.

The food was lovely, but stupidly expensive. To pay £60 for a skewer of lamb is ridiculous. I get it's Mayfair and I've been to most of the high-end restaurants there, but it's hard to justify the prices at Sheesh. The prawn starter was delicious. The service was what you'd expect at a high-end restaurant. I did mention that it was a special anniversary, but it went completely unnoticed, which was disappointing. The music was unclear with lots of bass, and the general atmosphere was not as good as I had expected or experienced elsewhere. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I won't be going back.

Great evening , our server looked after us amazingly, my daughter has specific dietary Needs , which were asked about and catered for the whole evening absolutely first class It made our whole evening a pleasure .

Lovely restaurant with great service! Food was absolutely delicious! Mains we ordered feta roll, calamari (which you have to get!!) and a prawn starter which came with some bread. All tasted amazing. For mains we ordered mixed shish which was so good even the salad tasted so good. We ordered baklava and icecream for dessert which again was 10/10! Would deffo go back :)

My experience at Sheesh Turkish Restaurant was far from enjoyable. The food lacked authenticity and was poorly prepared, with dry meat and bland flavors. The service was unfriendly and slow, making the entire dining experience frustrating. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, I won’t be dining here again.

Overall, a great visit. Went for my wife's birthday aa has always been on her "list". She loved it and so did the remainder of out company. I had monkfish kebab as did two others and it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Not too dry but very succulent. My wife had the chicken truffle pasta which was lovely and perfect texture. The only negative was rhe vegetarian options aren't great but daughter still enjoyed her meal and experience. Drinks are expensive for beer, good for wine and ok for spirits and cocktails. Bar staff brilliant. Overall I would recommend this place but be prepared to pay £100 for a kebab had a couple of beers. Oh and the truffle chips are insanely good

Went with my family with with our 3 small children after going for many years without a problem to then be demanded to pay upfront before even being seated when confronted and asked would they be doing this to everyone we were then told by a very embarrassed server who has served us many times before without a problem that they are only targeting the travelling community and that he is so ashamed about this as if it were of any other culture it would be seen as racism will never go back as you shouldnt paint everyone with the same brush

Going there 8 years went with my family today got asked for £650 deposit because I was Irish so I paid then when that £650 was spent the approached me telling me if I want to order anything else I would have to pay upfront I will not be going back there the manager is a cheeky racist woman.

Having only been twice before both for a birthday celebration it was exactly as I'd remembered it. We were sat upstairs in the lounge next to the DJ box. This wasn't ideal for me as the table wasn't suitable for dinning and the music was fat to loud. I can imagine this would be a buzz if you were there too drink and party. The food as always was delicious and came out hot and well presented. All in all a memorable experience but I would have preferred to eat at a dinning table on a proper chair with less noise.

I can honestly say I’ve never been so disappointed in a meal. I started going to Sheesh in 2014 when a Mixed Grill was £27. The Mixed grill included one stick of chicken, one stick of lamb, one stick of Kofte, 2 lamb chops and chicken wings. I would visit 3-4 times per year and had no issue with the incremental price increase by 2019 it reached roughly £40. I since moved to Dubai and this was my first visit in 5 years and couldnt wait and took my family with me. I was shocked to realise the mixed grill had now turned into a mixed shish (one stick chicken and half a stick of lamb) and was now £65. To say this is the worst value meal I’ve ever come across (considering I live in Dubai and its hardly cheap there) is not exaggerating. I will never go back which is a shame as this used to be my favourite restaurant.

My family and I went to the London Sheesh for our daughter’s birthday. How disappointed were we as we were waiting 50 mins for out table which was booked for 8pm and we were not the only customers as I chatted to a few around our table. After dinner the staff asked us if we would like dessert we said no thank you and then they started to Put plates on the table for a dessert on the house, we said we did not want it as we were full, they then said would we like drinks we said no as to be honest we just wanted to get out of the restaurant. All they said was sorry, didn’t even take the wine of the bill as an apology which I was surprised at as they kept trying to have us to have other things. We have been before and have never experienced such bad customer service. I think the restaurant should start concentrating on customer service and not how much money they will have at the end of day.

The most rudest staff I have ever come Across! Our waiter could not be bothered what so ever eoth our table. He was rude and very u approachable! I think maybe you should take a look at your staff and how they treat paying customers!!! Won't be returning as he made us feel extremely uncomfortable

We went to celebrate my sons 19th Birthday, staff were really friendly, food came out fast (maybe a bit too quick) as were in and out in an hour, ambience fantastic and great experience.

Such a brilliant venue food was spot on definitely be coming back food and drinks arrived very quickly staff was all helpful and spot on

Disappointed we were told we had to sit outside and not in the restaurant. Could have been in any pub garden! Was extremely hot and the parasol didn’t cover the table. Good food and good service

This is our 3rd/4th visit (a Tues evening), admittedly our previous visits were on a Thur/Fri. The first thing we noticed that in the 5 years since our last visit the prices have "dramatically" increased and to be fair this doesn't justify the food served. Sadly the service was average, we asked to sit inside the restaurant as most customers were placed in the rear garden. With only one other couple in the restaurant the atmosphere was flat and "wake like." It could've been due to it being a Tuesday evening, but nevertheless the waiters did little to project a positive and energetic vibe. We were celebrating our son's 21st Birthday. At the end of our meal a "special birthday desert" was given (which we didn't ask for) and we were charged £16 for the privilege. With a total bill of £360 for 4 people, you would've thought that the "birthday treat" or coffees/teas would've been complimentary as they are in other/high standard similar (Turkish) restaurants, we regularly visit. Overall it was a good evening, when visiting Sheesh you know you are going to be overcharged, and we may return (but not on a Tues as the place was dead). They do need to consider their costs as 'other' local/Essex Turkish restaurants are of equal quality and substantially cheaper. Plus the waiters need to go to a personality school.

Everything is so lovely, the food, the service and the setting. It is a little over priced but it's worth it if celebrating a special occasion.

First of all, we had a reservation at the Picadilly branch. We arrived 5 mins before but still had to wait 15mins for our table. Secondly, as soon as we sat down we were not handed any menu's.. after 20 mins we had to ask someone. Even when we asked we still had to wait 5 minutes extra!! Thirdly, the music was so loud (as loud as a nice club) that we couldn't hear ourselves. If I want loud music I would have gone to a bar or nightclub for it, not expect it in a restaurant. It really ruined the atmosphere. Fourth, the food was poor standard and bland. I had to ask for sauces to add on top just to give it flavour. The positive I can say is the server who serving our food was very attentive during our meal. Would I visit Sheesh at Picadilly again ?? Probably not!

First time coming here for a special Birthday dinner after seeing all the hype. To which they forgot and didn't acknowledge. Service was okay, the atmosphere and decor were fantastic but the food was so disappointing and under average especially for the extortionate prices!

Unfortunately our table wasn’t checked for allergies and my daughter has a serious allergy to sesame seeds and she couldn’t eat the bread or the doughnuts. It was a shame as it spoilt our experience

Sheesh is the perfect location and the hottest restaurant in Mayfair. From start to finish, we were incredibly well taken care of by Dylan, Claire, and the entire Sheesh team. It's no wonder it's quickly becoming everyone's favourite spot to dine and be entertained. Visit Sheesh – you won't regret it!

Restaurant seems to care a lot about its atmosphere and instagram-ability. The food, while reasonable, is over priced given that it is essentially grilled meats, with salad and rice. Don’t get me wrong, it tastes good, but £30 for two salads, three small pieces of meat, and a couple of warm donuts is a bit much.

Low quality food and overrated wouldn’t highly recommend it especially for its high price. The meals were very small and the quality was not what one would expect from a restaurant in the heart of London, in addition to the very high prices. Their treatment is good, but the basis remains the taste and taste, and it was not there

We dined at Piccadilly Sheesh. It was a 5 star experience for food, service and atmosphere. My only slight disappointment was the cocktail we ordered. Although it tasted nice, I felt for the price (£20) the presentation and size was underwhelming.

I have been coming to Sheesh Chigwell for years now and the food and service has always been bang on. We came yesterday for my Birthday and we had Greta looking after us. She was just Awesome! She took service to the next level. Thank you Greta x

Everything we had was absolutely phenomenal, apart from the rice the rice was heavy and over seasoned (no I don’t want white rice there was just too much of something in it) but it really didn’t matter too much that’s just constructive criticism the meat was some of the best cooked and flavoursome meat I’ve had the lamb was the winner for me but the kofte and the chicken were both spot on also . Will defo be back

Beautiful venue.. Such an interesting decor, had my daughter looking around in wonder for the whole of our dinner. We ate here as a family for Fathers day and it was enjoyed by all. Will definitely be going back in the future :-)

We came for a business lunch today after quite some time. The food is still absolutely delicious, and the service is of a very high standard. We had an excellent waiter looking after us. His name is Marko, and he made us feel very special. The place has been renovated to a very high standard; they have a DJ upstairs, and the restaurant area near the kitchen has also been changed in a very nice way. The good thing is that they have changed the kids' policy, so kids are very welcome as well. We will definitely be coming back for the delicious food, special service, and lovely atmosphere.

I'll describe each aspect just so you can do better (if that's something you want to do) Your staff are friendly and when they pay attention to you you are hitting 5 stars. If you have to get their attention or wait for drinks... Forget about it. The food is mediocre at best, Turkish food on Green Lanes is much better it being at least half the price. Charging nearly a tenner for a soft drink as well as a small bowl of chips... Taking the absolute mick. Then there's the atmosphere... Here's a tip, bring a torch to find your way around. I walked in and thought I was going caving it was that dark. I was really hoping this to be a good experience (really and truly if the food was good I wouldn't have cared about the rest) unfortunately it's not great, a great emphasis on all show and no go.

Booked for husbands birthday definitely will be back, service and food was amazing as a picky eater I can say, I have never ate chicken like this before absolutely phenomenal.
