Costa Coffee in Thurrock

Got a salted caramel frappe and thought it tasted a bit weird, might have been my own preference but went to the counter to get a cup of tea instead. I was refunded for the drink and also given the tea for free, really excellent customer service. Tea was great!

Best flat white I’ve had, we drink a lot of coffee and I must say that Greg made a perfect flat white, hence the 5 stars

Quite good. Stopped going because they stopped free wifi which is such a shame

I only had medium latte- all was ok.

It's got to be the worst Costa I've been too , we ordered two sandwiches that were clearly not heated long enough and were cold by the time we sat down. When my partner tried her salted caramel latte it was clearly just milk and had even been made properly. When I went back to the counter to ask about it the employee that I spoke to was rude and told me that she didn't serve me or make the drink so I would need to go to the person that did !! We ended up leaving and leaving our drinks and food because clearly no one would have cared anyway Got to be the worse Costa around don't bother going and spending the money with them

You know what you're getting, it's just how long you have to wait and if the staff are bored. Today they were really friendly and quick.

Ive given this 3 stars* as its just a costa. all costa's are the same, there is nothing unique about this place. the service was on point, professional and quick. It was clean with a few scattered trays on tables but nothing to be surprised about.

Fine for a coffee and cake. Probably not have lunch. A little slow as it was quite popular.

Nice place, going there almost every weekend. Nice staff, especialy one girl called Marika (give that girl a raise), she's kind and doing multiple tasks all the time

got a smoked ham and cheese sandwich, had the worst allergy reaction of my life, whole mouth in pain, like I ate poison ivy, lip swollen and never really liked this place

The Costas are looking very tired these days, run down, untidy and dirty. This one isn’t dirty. But they stop serving in China an hour before they close to save on washing up. Odd for a coffee shop not to have a dish washer….the toilets are permanently locked too…!!?

Had an issue with my hot drink offer, Silvio went out of his way to fix and resolve the issue and explained everything as to the error ~ received amazing customer service from him so super grateful to be served by him 🙏

Situated in Next Lakeside, its definitely quiter than the other lakeside branch which is a nice thing. Ester was very pleasant, polite and smiling. Great customer service from her.

Was an ok Costa, we got the iced soya latte but the original drink was not mixed properly when they made it which meant there were gloopy bits of soya at the bottom of the drink. However, they were very courteous when I took the drink back and made a fresh one for us that was made properly. Decent Costa overall.

Discracfull staff they watch us sit down with our drink to come over 5min later we have to leave as they want to clean complete dump of a place and I use different costas every day

Staffed by a rely miserable bunch of baristors here to say the least. I asked for a filter coffee they said they didn't have a machine. I pointed it out behind them, the very large silver metal one. They then said it wasn't working, I then pointed out the blue led panel on it that clearly said READY TO BREW. They just shrugged their shoulders and mumbled in whatever their native tongue was and walked away! Rude liars.
