Always made welcome. Love and appreciate how the longer employed Staff know my order without me asking. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Good place to meet or just have a coffee and read a book or papers.

Like sitting on a rubbish dump sitting outside... cigarette butts and trash everywhere ....does no body sweep up...not good

While I usually love the service in this cafe, today I witnessed your employee today (09:25) truly trashing a customer (that was sitting inside) on his headset to other colleagues whilst making drinks for other customers.No matter the reason for your anger, please never do this as it leaves every other customer listening to you, looking at eachother and wondering if we're going to be the next subject of a tirade. I heard him say, he doesn't care about a bad review - so please use this feedback opportunity to be more tactful in the future. You can do better. The coffee was excellent so thank you for that.

Will never visit my local Costa again as one of the members of staff was SO rude. Didn’t use her manners at all. Saturday morning, a girl with dark curly hair. She made me the wrong drink by an accident and was extremely grumpy. She was then very condescending when I asked for a straw. If you’re in a customer service role you need to provide customer service. I felt that I was a nuisance which isn’t right.

Standard chain rubbish. Coffees are good but don't waste your time with the food. Crazy priced for what little you get. If you're looking at this coffee shop there is better locally.

Fab experience! I have visited a couple of times during this week for a drive-thru experience after my eat-in last week for the first time. It was quite busy yet well managed by the staff. We're definitely gonna visit this costa more often as my kids love their cold drinks. Staff was very friendly and calm even though it was packed during my visits.

As i was passing the thought of a costa drawn me in could have easierly done the drive through but inside looked more inviting and had a bit time before next appointment swrved quickly and smiles all round and as i had an americano i needed the cream so served in little jug only a medium but it hit the spot and atmosphere was good been before and think same ladies work there all polite and speed was there thing a few in the queue after me and drive through was busy it just seemed to flow and disappear within minutes most impressed

I am sorry to say the staff there seemed overwhelmed although there was a short queue.

Never go back to the store again waited 5 minutes and got half of the cup, really paying £4 for half a cup of coffee!!!!!!

Ordered oat milk for my coffee and was served normal milk ,I have a intolerance why would u do this

The last time we went to Costa Coffee St.James Park we have been asked to tell our 2 toddlers not to play with their small hotwheels 🚗 on the glass doors as they would "scratch the glass". If you have a toddler, you will know exactly how small these cars are and how ridiculous it is to scratch any surface with them ... 30 mins after that, we have been told to ask our kids to 'act like normal children' and not to run around. Again, if you have an almost 3 year old and a 18 month old you know that children this age don't sit still for very long. We have also been told that 'regular children' sit down and 'regular people' control their children. My husband and I actually took offence as not a single customer was bothered by this. In fact, the coffee grinder was much louder than anything else in the café. Needless to say that we won't be visiting this café again!! and we would seriously consider our café choices in the future. I have filed a formal complaint and would be looking forward to any follow ups.

Asked for a flat white. Got a normal latte, instead. Horrible attitude by staff members. Clearly no customer service skills. Took a little terrier chocolate by mistake thinking it was there for Christmas to be taken, got told off in front of everyone as they're for their hot chocolates. Fair enough. However could have approached me in a different way. Or perhaps, allowed it seen as its Christmas and it probably costs 10p so doesnt come close to the £9 just spent here. Nonetheless. Horrible attitude. Made me feel very unwelcome. Not sure where the Christmas spirit is in this place.

Love going to Costa for a latte, every now and then.

So much nicer 12 months ago. Rude staff here and drinks thrown at you. Inconsistent quality of drinks and after last few visits, we won't be back!

I ordered a take away coffee then thought I’d use the toilet and I only dropped it all over the place. I cleaned as much of it as I could then told a member of staff who kindly ordered me a new coffee free of charge . 😊

Always pop in for a coffee and sandwich when visiting my parents. My dad thinks he's part of the furniture coz they all know his name 🤣. I think he needs decaf from now on.

This is the worst costa I've ever been in...and I've been in many branches! Dirty dishes everywhere and staff not bothered to sort it out. It had perhaps been busy....but very quiet when I was there so time to catch up?? Apparently not!! Service very slow. A sink behind the counter with tap running continuously....a shocker!!

It's a Costa, drive through fairly quick, decent service. Tried in store today and the breakfast wrap. Wrap was ok, overpriced for what it was. Staff were fantastic, atmosphere was quiet and really nice.

Didn't understand what a Macchiato was and gave us a small latte, and when challenged, was made to wait another 10 minutes. rather upset as we had already paid .. won't be going back there again.

This is my favourite costa, always a calming atmosphere in store and very clean. Staff are polite, hardworking and make delicious coffee. Often use the drive through aswell and the service is very fast and coffee is always perfect.

the worst service receipt at Costa cafe. waiter with black glass on without attention, serving the customer without desire, and what bothers me the most is asking for napkins and that you take it off by hand in bad shape. Bad education. Should have training how to treat the customer.

I got a drink from the drive-thru. I had been at the doctor's and hospital earlier that day. I though that I treat my self. I order an frappe Salted Carmel drink (not know why they had to change the name from frostino and add coffee) I was with my dad as he went with to doctors and hospitals. My dad is hard of hearing. I said to him an salted Carmel frappe without coffee and biscuit topping. And he said that and the person keep on asking did I want coffee and cream in it. One point my dad says why you have to order such an hard drink. I said it's not just an salted Carmel frappe without two things it's not hard at all. I was tired was I not been sleeping well and the problem I had was to do with my neck. So went my dad says you tell him as we both want to go home at this point. I had to say again to the person again and again and again how I wanted my drink. And they still put coffee in it. I know they put coffee as it was very bitter taste to it and it was an different colour from normal.

Called in for a hot chocolate with my son. Great service, friendly staff, not too busy. For a Costa coffee it was immaculate, the busier ones are often a bit chaotic but this felt a lot more relaxed.

I don't actually hate it, but I don't know how they can justify the prices...McDonald's and Greggs Coffee (and tea) is just as nice and at least a quarter of the price. Costa Packet a more apt name.

Just went in to use the toilet think coffee is over priced

Store was clean and not to busy. Staff were very friendly and made the coffee promptly. The seating was comfortable just air conditioning was not as cold. The drinks were well made although a little hotter would have been better .
