Costa coffee in Stratford-on-Avon

Costa Coffee at henley in arden. i visiting daily for 4 years now. u can park on the road next to Costa or opposite for 2hrs free. i don't drink coffe, but my colleague does a they like it. staff is friendly. thank you

Really poor service. Waited for2 or 3 minutes with a family of 4 behind me before any member of staff was seen. Then a miserable member of staff appeared, I ordered a medium Americano with milk and 2 bacon rolls to take out. The rolls were okish, but the coffee was flat, strong and grainy and not like a coffee I’ve ever had from there before. We put it down the sink.

What is it about Costa coffee premises? No matter where you go, the outside always looks the same - tatty and run down. The inside was an improvement in terms of appearance but on a cold June day (15 degrees outside) the air conditioning was on. Coats were kept on and coffee (good, as ever) was essential to keep warm.

It’s not very often I write reviews but when you meet the friendliest bunch who are always welcoming and can’t seem to do enough for you it’s really the least I could do. I shall be visiting every time I pass through Henley. 10/10.

Our first Costa since February due to lockdown and self-isolation. Good hot flat white, lovely ham & cheese toastie. Pleasant staff, quick service. Everywhere was clean and socially distanced. One way system and sanitiser available.

Rude staff, made my order wrong was not helpful. Do not reccomend usually i dont have a problem but its someone new who i have not seen my self before.

the lady working at the till was incredibly rude to me, i sat down and she came immediately over and told me i wasn’t allowed to eat in there, when i had very clearly ordered food previously.

Always love a costa, it's very co-vid aware, which can mean a little delay, but it's understandable and necessary, table's cleaned well,and the staff were very good.

Just popped in for a cup of coffee Sunday morning, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even though we just had coffe nothing was too much trouble.

Popped in for breakfast and a coffee after visiting a friend in the area on Saturday, 15th September at around 9:00am. The lady serving on the till was extremely friendly and offered me a warm welcome. The food and coffee was perfect and the premises immaculately clean and ordered. Refreshing to see a Costa branch looked after and focused on the customer experience.

Popped in here to use WiFi/Charge phone/download a couple of programmes and get through my email whilst having a cold drink and lemon muffin. Staff were very helpful and didn't mind my plugging in my phone at all. Venue was being used for business meetings and family get-togethers with enough space to accommodate all without issue. Highly recommend this spot for a meet up.

I visited today with my young family whilst waiting for the bus while it was raining. We had several cold drinks and three cakes. It was all tasty but slightly overpriced. The coffee shop itself is nice with adequate seating and friendly staff.

Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of cakes and muffins. Coffee usual Costa standard. I always have their flat white as the latte is too weak. More like hot milk

Costa has become one if the favourite meeting places in Henley. The staff are great and although the foods and drink is standard Costa fare, it is a clean and spacious cafe.

Stopped for tea and cake whilst exploring the area on Easter Sunday, not a great deal of choice in the town as a lot of places closed due to restricted trading laws. This was one of the better Costa establishments I have been in, friendly staff with fairly quick service. I am not sure how they cope when it's really busy as we struggled to find a clear table in the shop despite it being relatively quiet, they were still cluttered with empties when we left.

The building used to be an estate agent and some time before that i think it was a bank. It provides quite a large floor space. Good seating, good coffee. relaxed atmosphere

Flat white is just right, with a beautiful creme. The coffee shop is clean and inviting- leather chairs are very comfortable and you relax and wish to stay longer and not leave the cosy atmosphere to venture outside into the biting cold!

Estamos regular los excursionistas en la zona de henley, y volví a Costa tras otro buen paseo hoy en la campiña Warwickshire. Este es uno de nuestros favoritos muy costas. Siempre tiene un ambiente muy relajado, el personal es muy amable y siempre se puede conseguir una mesa en nuestra experiencia.

Usual service and standard as you expect from a Costa. Clean and welcoming ,polite service, although only one person serving.

Popped in for a coffee last week. No outside tables even though it was very warm. Insiders quite dark and gloomy. Staff, friendly but slow. Would hate to be visiting at a busy time! Only 1 toilet so a bit of a queue.

The usual Costa coffee chain,but great to have in this small town right on the high street.Comfortable seating to chill and dring coffee while reading the daily papers

Costa tea and sandwiches as in every Costa but the service by the 3 ladies running the store was excellent. The store was very busy due to a rainy bank holiday but the staff didn't only cope but seemed to thrive.

What do you say about Costa, average coffee in a sterile atmosphere that is not cleaned very often during the day. The food is very limited and hellishly expensive.

I visited this Costa Coffee as I arrived in the town for lunch about 45 minutes early and needed somewhere to fill the time. Standard Costa branded coffee, friendly baristas and comfy seats. Plenty of available seating just before Monday lunch.

We love a good coffee at Costa, and the Henley branch is by far our favourite. It always has a great atmosphere, quiet and relaxed, and in our experience never gets too busy.We were back again a couple of weekends ago after a good countryside hike around the area. Our skinny lattes were really good - rich, smooth, and very hot. The staff in this branch are always excellent.A great Costa branch, and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want a good coffee.

Typical Costa Coffee, set inside what was previuosly a banking hall.Give everyone a good Costa service, free wi-fi, popular. Regrettably no outside seating - That's Henley in Arden. Opposed by 'independents' who are 'closed' on week-ends - that's why it popular, people want coffee & wi-fi 7 days a week.

After a long walk around the muddy outskirts of Henley last week, we called in at Costa for a coffee to warm us up. As soon as you enter you realise that this is a lovely branch - light and airy, with well spaced out tables and plenty of room.The head barista lady that took our order (didn't get her name) was lovely, and really made us feel welcome. We ordered a skinny hazelnut latte, a cake, a chocolate babyccino, and a latte. All of the drinks were made quickly and correctly, and all were piping hot.All in all a great Costa branch. Very relaxing, great coffee, and excellent staff.

we just ordered a latte macchiato and the taste was surprising - in a negative way. I would expect more from a coffee specialist ...

This Costa is a lovely place to sit drink coffee and chat. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

The floor is invariably covered in crumbs and the toilet filthy. There are enough staff to keep it clean during quiet periods. Not great.cleaninstead if standing around when not busy

Spotlessly clean and very efficient service in comfortable surrounding makes this the best Costa Coffee I've been to.

Went into Costa for a coffee with friends. It was obviously a bank before a coffee house, no doubt about it , looking at the interior and exterior. Coffee was delicious and served.by friendly staff .Tables need to be cleared and cleaned more quickly

Why do coffee shops like Costa get evaluated in the same category as a sit down restaurant that does hot meals - starters, main courses and desserts.This place does standard Costa fayre that you could get anywhere in the UK - they don't deviate a single inch from the standard formula. You get standard Costa coffee,. standard Costa sandwiches or toasted ciabatta's and a range of mass produced cakes and fancies.The service here is about the only original thing in the whole place and is obliging. Apart from that - I would use a good independent coffee shop every time instead of this temple to mediocrity and homogenisation.

A lovely venue, comfortable, spacious and very friendly staff. Service is very good, i like that they bring your order to the table rather than you carrying yoyr own tray, this adds a personal touch to the service. The venue is spacious allowing plenty of space, a good choice of tables and comfy sofa making a visit with family or friends feel cozy.have visited twice now and will be visiting again

Spacious comfortably furnished coffee shop service is good servers are pleasant there is a reasonable mix of food on offer all in all a pleasant experience

When you walk in, it looks like a typical Costa. The difference is that the staff are always really helpful and friendly. I can't eat wheat and Costa is the only place in Henley I can go and get a gluten free sandwich or cake, so this makes it even better for me.

I'm glad Costa opened a branch here, I stop always stop here for a panini and coffee on my way up to North Wales. Its usefull as its near the M40 which I join to head to North Wales. The branch like all Costa's is clean and the service is good.

As a daddy and 6 month old daughter team we have sampled many a coffe shop in the far and wide, but Costta is the best, particuarly this one. GReat baby facilities and staff eager to help, added to the tasty costa coffee and theres the winning formula.

With Costa Coffee you know what to expect; a high quality range of drinks, great tasting cakes and pastries, excellently tasty (albeit slightly overpriced) sandwiches and consistent friendly service. Henley in Arden Costa Coffee is exactly this but also has the advantage of being situated in the quaint picturesque town. This particular Costa is really very large on the inside and often has a gentle and appealing atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and happy to help - having visited multiple times now - and importantly don't feel any urge to move you along, making this Costa a great place to settle with a book or to write that critical essay. My Recommendation:Costa prices are a slight disadvantage to some, but given the high quality drinks, food and atmosphere (plus free WIFI) this is a great coffee shop and most definately worth dropping in on.

It was handy to see this open on Boxing Day, we know Henley well and seeing other tea rooms shut, this was the only option. Coffee was absolutely fine however the wait for service as the staff talked amongst themselves was ridiculous I came in for coffe not to hear about their social loves

Good service and friendly staff. Have called her a few times now and gave always received the same standard of food and service as we now expect at Costa outlets.

The staff here are out of this world, nothing is too much trouble. Any comments are taken on board and actioned. The setting is lovely and décor nice. The coffee is spot on and the toast - mmmh! Just what I needed for elevenses on a chilly morning!

Okay so Costa Coffee is a national chain and I've been in bad ones and good ones... Costa Coffee in Henley-in-Arden though is very good and has a great ambience, a high level of cleanliness and a good selection of snacks / pastries and cakes.Service was friendly and efficient and there was good strong WiFi access (O2) allowing me to check my emails while I had a Latte and Raisin Danish Whirl fuelled working breakfast.They have some newspapers on hand if you want to catch up on the headlines and the layout is very chilled with a mix of chairs and tables, stools and high bars and sofa's and coffee tables. Very relaxing and I'll certainly use it again if working in Henley-in-Arden and needing a coffee and cake stop.

A good oasis of calm if you need to catch up via your tablet or laptop (using the free wi-Fi) with good coffee and cakes.
