Costa Coffee in Harlow

I’m regular customer , all the time I will not get my reward and cashier saying sestem down or offline and I’m not getting my point ,not happy at all .

None of the order (3 drinks) was delivered to myself in Chelmer Ward. The staff (Peter) would not let me speak to reception and I have been charged delivery too. Can you please issue a refund for the whole amount as I have now made another order

Drinks are nice and plenty of options, the food however is not - personal preference and cakes are expensive for what they are and how small they are.

why can't you put stickers on it like the rest of the restaurants! mine came half open!

Food was cold and the frappes had coffee in after selecting remove

All of order was wrong apart from one iced drink and a croissant. And then received I’m sorry note with no chocolate twist which would have been fine if the rest of order was even close!!

It closes at 6pm but when I went in at 5pm I was told no to food? Food service normally stops half an hour before close. Not an hour, really annoying if you’ve just finished work. I don’t see how a toastie maker needs an hour to clean up.

It's ok! The staff are welcoming and hard working, limited snack food, sandwiches quite fresh though. The decor a bit dark and tired. I do use the three in the town often.

Waited nearly two hours for one coffee

I ordered for me and my friend at break at 09:10am and it arrives around 10:20am absolutely crazy. won't order no more 😩 and I couldn't cancel it.

Staff were brilliant and coffee is very good but the toasted sandwiches that we just had were the worst ever; they were 99% bread and cheese!🙁🙁

I had a message saying it had been delivered but there was nothing there waiting for me

Costa you've just got everything. Just so right... even cleaning tables and having clean toilets too. Keep it up. Because it's all appreciated your your customers xx😘♥️ But ! Running the gauntlet of Smokers to get into your sanctuary is becoming s big NO GO. as copd can't cope with the smoke. Nor the stupidity of smokers who blow smoke in your direction. Because your already coughing and finding it difficult to breath!!!!! Well I suppose Stupid does what Stupid only knows! Get rid of them and get more non smoking customers. I'd wager on it...🤔

Unfortunately we ordered oatmeal latte but got a normal latte so I had to replace that.. an area was sectioned off but no reason why because people were allowed to go through to the toilets.

To many girls, only one serving!

The experience was very bad, i asked for oat milk and they gave me the normal one. We sat down and there were many flies in the shop and they went on the food as well, im never coming back

wanted a egg mayo sandwich and got given a prawn mayo sandwich.

Only received a quarter cup of coffee as the rest was dripping out of the bag. Massively disappointed

Most of the staff here are lovely and the manager is brilliant and all work really hard my girls love going to Costa and when we see our favourite staff on it makes us smile the drinks just taste better a couple of the staff could do with a little more training and customer service skills but overall a really nice place to get a coffee

Very slow service at the till, the que only went down because they walked out

I like this place. The red-haired girl Angelina is always very friendly and carefully takes orders. The coffee is delicious

The lady who made my coffee made no attempt to smile or interact with me. If you don't want to work in Costa you really shouldn't be there. Very poor customer service.

whole £20 order was wrong, receipt on the bag was correct, but in the bag was a whole different order, cannot contact restaurant as their phone lines are unavailable

I ordered a bacon bap but got sausage bap

And when arrived wasn’t correct flavour

I didn’t receive my order I havnt received it it’s been 2 hours I’ve been waiting

The wrong coffee, No pasta meal... Just missing, The panini was uncooked, And it was over half an hour late. Tsk

I'd like to mention all the staff at this costa in town are very well mannered loving and kind to there customers I've been a customer of this coffee shop for years and they know my order of by heart I don't even have to ask may I say a big thankyou to the staff because the service is remarkable keep it up lady's Toni etc

The lady who served me here today was so nice, I haven't experienced this outstanding customer service in a while. I used to go to Starbucks just because it's conveniently placed but I will change to Costa from now on. Keep up the great work :)

My coffee wasn't hot. I could've exchanged it but couldn't be bothered.

every time i go in, they're either closing early or it's take away only, some kind of problem, all because they're short staffed

The chocolate twist was a bit dry and stale. The coffee was good, the staff were polite and warmed the twist up which made it more palatable. I find that branch a bit dark and dingy.

I like the vibes and the people who work especially “CES” she’s very nice and friendly all the staff tbh is friendly and always smiling thats why I love to drink a afternoon coffee here every week xx

Usually great coffee but today I ordered a flat white and it tasted just of milk barely any coffee.

Food is OK, but normally I have coffee only which is great. I prefer Costa Coffee to Starbucks. The lady who served me was extremely kind and helpful. I was there Friday evening at closing time.

It's very modern and jept clean and tidy, I feel very comfortable here

My friend and I ordered two hot chocolates. The environment was very friendly and one of the employees (I think her name was Toni) was so helpful since this was my first visit, will be coming here again :)

Tables were not clean and the latte I had tasted burnt

I am one of the customers who goes to this place to get my coffee every day, but there is one employee who works most of the time to make coffee and burns the milk, and this thing causes inconvenience to me and this thing made me hate my favorite coffee. As for the rest of the employees, they are very polite and very nice. I hope to solve the problem in as soon as possible thanks

Not as good as the Costa in Next, especially quality of its drinks. My wife and I had had the same, hot chocolate for her and decaf Americano for me each time and there was a difference. Her chocolate was too strong and the 2 small milks for my coffee was not enough.

Plenty of comfortable seating, great coffee.

Only do click and collect so I pop in and grab my coffee that's already done

Food was very cold and stale. Impossible to eat the toastie as it was rock hard

Order was stone cold and each cup was half full , won’t b doing this again nearly £9 for half a cup of cold coffee !

When i received the Latte Coffee it was warm but certainly not HOT! I will not use Costa again!

I have ordered a soya latte, a skimmed latte, 2 latte and an iced latte. I have not got a soya latte!!!!

The staff are excellent and do their best. I wish the company appreciated them more.

paid over £20 for 2 drinks, a sandwich and a muffin. the muffin didn’t even arrive. food was late too

The food is not to the spec that is advertised on the menu. For example the Bubble mango drink contained no mango bubbles in it. Paid for a cup of slush with little flavour.

Never received my order and only offered a refund of £4.20, and i actually paid £11.13, so do please why you have not fully refunded?

Store is clean and well presented, but even with 4 staff the service was slow. It seems like the morale needs to be lifted!

Really sorry, but this is the worst run Costa I have ever used- which is really frustrating for my hometown site- but every other Costa I have been in has given better service... to be given paper cups when sitting in (and mid afternoon, not just before closing) doesn't seem to me to align with Costa's green credentials or customer service.. Queensgate 100% better run.. couple of pointers for management- give your customers proper cups if they are sitting "in", update the dingy lighting, clear the tables occasionally, present your cakes/ pastries better- looked like yesterday's offerings.. sorry guys, the aim of this post is to help you make it as good as other sites, not just to moan....

How many times can the same coffee shop not allow customers to sit inside because they do not have enough members of staff to clean tables??? It is no wonder that the tax dodger, Starbucks that is opposite Costa Coffee was heaving with customers. I feel that Costa is loosing its way and the management need a rethink, otherwise I can see shop closures in the future, starting with the Harlow branch.

Lovely frappe,nice place,little bit busy and one of the staff members was little bit slow,maybe was still training.

Good and friendly that is why one star I change my star rating from 5 to 1 because my last 3 visits this place is getting very dirty Tables , floor , toilets etc Costas as delete it the word cleaning from his manual. And I say Costas because this seems the case for all Costas coffe shops. Sadly a long time customer will be moving to a different coffe shops because if you can see so much dirt everywhere what goes on behind the scenes scares me How this place have. 5 * food and higine rating amaz me

Failing coffee shop. Came over for coffee just before 4pm on Sunday. Costa staff smoking cigs outside told us they're closed one hour early because of "lack of staff". How coca cola owned business can't sort staff for full hours of business. Went to Starbucks just cross the street - which was packed with people.

My wrap came freezing cold and I have had to heat it myself and half of my order didn’t come

Saturday morning, "Technical Difficulties". No cold drinks (as no ice). Take Away cups only. Almost like Lock Down. Major Chain, poor delivery of services.

Wrong order. Ordered a bacon bap and received a sausage bap.

Costa is definitely better since Coca-Cola bought the business, however it is still a bit hit and miss as to how well made your drink is made depending on the barrista so it can vary between 2 and 4 stars.

Standard Costa, but Service was slower than usually expected. Looked for new M&S food range. Only found a BLT, so was disappointed. Hence only 3⭐

Mocha was absolutely delicious, never had one this good, the barista smashed it, I don’t know what her name was but she had strawberry blonde hair. Amazing.

Queue took flipping ages I almost gave up but was so cold and thirsty I hung on ....Been there a couple of times & usually quite quick that's why I chose it! Had a lovely aero caramel muffin was really sickly sweet and yummy 😋 could feel the calories filling out my hips with every bite...low score was just for the wait & it's nothing special to look at- nothing stands out! Staff helped to bring over my order which was really nice thanks

Chocolate drink spilled about a quarter of it…my son was disappointed because he was looking forward to the chocolate sprinkles

Great coffee just a little pricey.

Nice place and friendly staffs. Yesterday I ordered medium and large cappuccino to take away. The medium cup was only a quarter full. I was so upset and did not want to go back and complain.

Had to wait 25minutes for 2 coffees and 2 panneis staff lost order not impressed

Efficient service. Excellent coffee as usual.

Took over an hour to come, stone cold, didn’t even cut the toastie in half like they are supposed to, it looked like it had been thrown together and the top slice of bread wasn’t even attached. Overall very disappointing

Order missing items. Ordered 3 gingerbread cookies, only sent 1. Not the first time this has happened, in fact has happened so much justrat has rejected the refund request because they can't believe a restaurant can be that incompetent multiple times
