Costa Coffee in Leicester

Service is fine....they never really ask you what size you want and give you a large one. More profits I suppose. The Interior is dirty though. Chairs and walls could do with a clean and repaint. Doesn't have the same feel having a nice coffee in a dirty environment.

The seats are so dirty All stained Toilets are disgraceful they are dirty It needs a full refurbished Won’t go in there again

1. I ordered a Cappuccino stay in, the staff offered me with a takeaway cup and I am so confused there are so many spare mark cup……. (I can understand it of course if all mark up are used). 2. Without asking me whether I would like to add chocolate, when I noticed that I tried to ask them but there is a looooooong queue so I gave up. 3. Ask me to leave at 6pm when the shop is nobody ……. the google map shows 7pm and they explained it is weekend…

Service from the staff here is terrible, staff are rude and decide to kick customers out and close when it suits them. They say for maintenance work but there was no clear signage of this anywhere.

Why are the chairs and tables filthy !!! ??? Could not believe how bad it was and burned my toast ? Hot chocolate looked ememic ? But bless them they redid my drink but no idea why having the same drink in any Costa in the country is so inconsistent... Please refurbish that Costa it's filthy and needs a total refurbishment il go Starbucks instead just because it was so dirty tables and chairs are terrible would love to donate swob test 😱🫣

High Cross. Costa. Upstairs. Minging. Normally you can rely on a Costa to be consistently average. This one, dirty. Chairs stained. Toilets Minging. Staff very friendly etc, coffee as expected.

Very impressed with the team. All were respectful and courteous. The manager in particular was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Quality of our coffee was excellent and food was lovely.

Best Costa in town centre inside the Highcross Shopping Centre

The smell in the cafe these past few weeks has been very off putting. It is a very strong stagnant water smell that seems to be coming from the kitchen or possibly from the leaking roof. It is impossible to enjoy a sandwich and coffee. It's like eating lunch in a public toilet.

It doesn’t look clean and drinks are really cold I came from Peterborough and the drinks are warm there but here in Leicester drinks are cold

The staff are always so friendly & very helpful so I’ve gave them 5 stars 🙂

I got a sandwich, cake and Americao for my weekend lunch at your Costa shop at Leicester Highcross shopping on 13th Jan 2024 at 2 pm. The issue is that the sandwich I ordered was the vegetarian but I thoughtit is a ham sandwich. I return thr vegetarian sandwich to the till to change to the ham sandwich which i want but the manager reguse to do it as it was not their fault. Whist I have apologise but he insist it is not their fault for several times, if I want a ham sandwich I need to pay again, with 10%discount. I asked for a refund but he again said no, it is not their fault. The conversation has been going on in front of the customers for a few minutes and I decide not to continue. The cost of sandwich is nothing to me, but what really upset me was the stubborn and poor attitude of the manager by lacking flexibility and poor customer service. In the end I didn't take the sandwich and it was sitting at the kitchen despite I have paid for it. I m unable to return to Costa in future.

Had a hot chocolate and pastry, my friend had a latte and gingerbread man, mid shopping spree! We enjoyed it all, as usual!

Very disappointing, ordered a LARGE gingerbread latte, paid £4.40.. was handed a regular, told her I ordered a large, to then be told Xmas drinks were only small or regular, well I wasn't told that when I ordered and paid.. I was made a large, but the girl who made it, was not happy at all.. a little communication is all it takes.. plus I wouldn't have paid £4.40 for a regular!! I have a Costa every single day, but I certainly wouldn't pay that for a regular.

It's alright nothing special. The coffee tasted awful and tasted like water I wouldn't go there again!!!

I love both places in Leicester highcross center and Loughborough and Haymarket center and all clean and friendly staff and lovely coffees and Lovely atmosphere and all the staff from garry whiting and Stephen Clarke and Liam dee says 10 /10 from garry whiting from Leicester

Please train your staff...asked for a lemon tart.. which isn't cheap. And got the bakewell tart instead yuk...now I'm not going back that way so what do you expect me to do! POOR SERVICE. Check your orders people.

Mediocre. The chairs and sofas are dirty, and the tables aren't much better. Needs a bit of a spruce up.

I was not happy with the customer service at costa Highcross close at 7pm went at 6:27pm for some reason i couldn’t sit and have my drink I’m regular customer I’m not happy

Just another customer, they baracaded us in by putting chairs across the aisle. If they're open 'til 7pm, this shouldn't be necessary at 4pm!

Generally, I like the drinks from Costa, but recently this particular branch has changed their staff and I've noticed the drinks are not as good as they used to be. I fell ill after they made the frappe! Most likely won't come back again here ☹

Good variety of hot drinks and food. Service sometimes can be slow at bury periods, but overall ok.

The best carrot cake you could possibly have in UK. It was so soft, fresh, right amount of nuts and perfectly sweet with a generous layer of cream cheese. The staff were about to close but they were kind enough to accommodate me and I was served within seconds. Great stop great staff. Worth visiting again.

2nd visit. Won't go again, no improvement. Toilets in a state, overall really grubby cafe.

Sticky tables, expensive food/drinks and flies. Looks nice, but unfortunately unclean.

Had a delicious cappuccino each & shared a bakewell tart, in a large, clean & comfortable Costa in the Highcross. Toilets were clean.

Excellent service by friendly staff member which I believe is named Abdul. Made one heck of a Chai Latte 👌🏼

There was a small queue to get served. We managed to get a table and the drinks were great

Bit of an oasis in the busy Highcross Centre. Standard Costa drinks and eats. Pleasant staff. Clean.

We go to Costa all the time, love the fact that they do decaff coffee. Really friendly staff.

Service was good and the Latte very nice. The cafe was crowded, a sign of a good coffee shop, but there was still room to sit, people watch and relax.

Fairly clean place, service fast. Only negative is some tables were not easily accessible for wheelchair users as the spaces were not wide enough.

Staff very helpful and friendly, coffee spot on, the place itself is ready for a deep clean, chairs and chair legs dirty, skirting boards covered in black dirt, signs in window filthy, more than one day's worth of marks and grime, and ledge around seating area covered in dust, new cleaners required I would say.

Very handy location opposite Apple Store in Highcross Leicester. Coffee was weak

Excellent and world's apart in terms of service and cleanliness compared to the Haymarket one, young English girl that served me was friendly and very quick. Maybe the chubby Asian girl could learn something rather than standing there looking a bit lost! Happy and would return.

The baristas here are lovely, are extremely helpful and deliver excellent service even when the store is busy

This place can get very busy and they never seem to have enough staff to cope. The menu is OK but needs more imagination for vegetarians. Staff polite coffee is good.

Costa in a great location inside the Highcross. Lots of seating inside with quick service. It has a wide, decent food selection as well.

Feel sorry for the staff as they are always rushing and seem under staffed. Really nice clean store and products are great, just a shame they need more help

A busy Costa this one...but a great atmosphere and comfortable seating. The barrister is very good, quick and clean the WiFi is good too.

Super service, felt sorry for the guy as on his own taking orders and serving. I would have been stressed with the long queue forming, but he didn't show it!

Very slow service. Coffee cold and they got the order wrong.

Slow service. Tables are only in fours apart from one that was occupied , sat far apart and there were eight of us. Too busy for it's size .

A big family was blocking the area where you collect drinks and order and pay. One person was serving the others were just there doing whatever. Because it was st least 8 of them it took ages to get our drinks. One side of the sitting area was blocked off with chairs for some reason. Other than that our visit today was OK.
