Why is costa not open any more what's happend

This store has been closed for a week yet the website states it is open

5 years in luton and whatever staff they got they are all slowwwww very slow..i work in a coffee shop i can make 10 drinks in the space they make 2...place is nice but really u need to employee quickest staff please Im coming very rarely and everytime i wait like 10 mins for a drink...umbelievable

Can you check your address ?? İ direct to car park 500 m far to your shop. And i believe it is done in purpose to get more driving customers

This is defo the wrong location, according to this on gmaps it's in the middle of the car park, or train lines, obv that can't be the case,

Very nice staff, good coffee but it is probably best to take away. Sitting in is very noisy due to drinks being blended etc. Also very chilly aircon inside and messy tables.

Came here for a coffee with friends and family and I genuinely think the coffee here is amazing. (So much better than Starbucks.) I had a medium iced latte with hazelnut syrup and oat milk and it was perfect. Not too bitter, not too sweet. My sister had an iced americano with sugar free caramel and she enjoyed her drink too, so did my mum who had a cappuccino. There are also drinks on the menu that aren’t coffee based like the refresher that’s more sweet and refreshing, good for in the summer. Still there is room for improvement. It’s not the most clean cafe and furniture is old and torn. There are certain regular customers that come here that affect the atmosphere in the cafe. It’s a very busy place and the sound of the coffee machines/ blenders is very loud. This makes it hard to have a conversation. I would say definitely get your coffee here, but if you’re sensitive to a lot of stimuli/ vibes, maybe get a take away rather than sitting in.

Came in for a mocha and ended up chatting to a member of staff about the Costa app and rewards. Here name was Emma and was very charming and lovely to chat to. Also the other member of staff (I didn't get her name) was also lovely and very efficient. All in all lovely duo, 10/10 would coffee again.

I left my wallet behind at Luton Mall Costa. It was handed in for me to collect. Some excellent customers here!

Why does this place shut so early would be ideal for meeting people after work especially at this time of year. Yet service is slow they are normally chatting to each other rather the more ring about customers

Surprised how nice friendly the staff were considering one of there coffee machines was broken and the queue was fairly long but dealt with in 5 minutes with a very lovely smile.

Nice place to grab a coffee on the go. Food wish to be better and the stuff is always welcoming and friendly

Went away for a month and missed my daily Costa Coffee. Happy to be back. I enjoyed my first Costa experience since coming back.

I meet such a nice waitress here, she made my day much more cheerful with her kindness 🥰

Is worst Costa i have ever been in one toilet for customers and the other for the Staff and four people wanting to use it and staff would not open the other toilet up for customers and no manager on duty Coffee not the best very poor

Poor customer experience. Came to order a frappucino for my friend and was instead given a cappuccino. Lady serving barely knew english, came back and spoke to another sara or sarae was her name. She was very rude after I questioned why my new drink was being put in the cup I brought back. She said “Its just a plastic cup whats the issue? Do you want the drink or not? I dont have to change it for you, Im doing you a favour.” Very disrespectful for no reason as I simply asked a question. Wouldn’t recommend.

Food choice and quality definitely not what it used to be. The bread of my toasted roll was chewy, the filling scant and tasteless. M+S have some great sandwiches so when Costa make a big deal of teaming up with them, where's the variety??

It used to be the best of the 3 around town but sadly the quality of the service is getting worse by the day... To add to the ridiculous extra charge for Oat Milk drinks (common to all Costas). At this specific Costa when you buy a hot toastie or panini the chances are they will come COLD or not proper heated/cooked...

Very poor when paying customers are not allowed to use the toilets i was in bad need and denied access although I was I paying customer had to walk to the mall for a loo

Good friendly service. Tables cleaned regularly, great coffee and cakes. Nice clean toilets too, but you will need a code to use them.

Place smelled disgusting. I'd planned to have a few drinks and stay there a while but the smell was wholly off-putting. How does a coffee shop not smell of coffee? The staff were friendly but not enough to help this place

My hot chocolate was tasteless. I was eating in and It was in a takeaway cup and my muffin came in a bag not on a plate. I was very disappointed and unhappy as generally Costa is the best place for a very hot chocolate. Very unhappy

Busy at lunch time. Tables not being cleared quick enough for new customers, so is off-putting.

Was OK, better coffee shops available.

The poor quality coffee, the dirty cup of coffee, was unsightly. The price of coffee is not justified. It is expensive.

Make sure they swip your costa card!

4 staff members it still took 20mins to get served, not a smile on any staff members face, the worst costa I've visited in over 10yrs

Not the greatest experience I've had at Costa. Drinks weren't up to scratch and service was average.

Clean, great coffee and toastie, and the staff are great.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Young lady serving was kind enough to talk me through some of the drinks I didn’t know and I ended up with a new favourite :) the gentleman making the drinks was also very pleasant.

Everyone likes Costa expensive coffees, it is OK know and again , I prefer my Tassimo personally .

Its a costa. It sells decent coffee and is also one of the only outlets in the area that sells reasonably priced gluten free snacks.

Nice place for a coffee with friends. Lovely selection of travel mugs and variety of beverages. Sandwiches, refreshments and sweet treats. Nice seating areas. Track and trace scanning codes at the tables, hand sanitisers at the entrance and different entrance and exits. The only issue was that the lady that served me, plonked the grated chocolate in the cappuccinos without any enthusiasm. I would've liked a nice design on the froth.

Just like every other Costa I guess, my only complaint is that one of the ladies making the drinks (dont know her name) keep making the wrong orders. Every time that I order face to face the order is wrong. today she made both of my drinks wrong, but i only spotter her mistake in one of them and fixed her, the other drink I bought was for a family member and according to them it was definitely not almond vanilla latte, more like almond cappuccino, if that. I guess the way to order here is either basic simple drinks that you can see on the board or online to ensure she doesn’t mess up the drink. I never have this problem at the other Tesco in town

Ok coffee shop but due to covid restrictions it's outside tables with table service. You get to see the wreckpile of humanity whilst drinking your coffee.

Less than the average. Can't be compared to similar shops in Italian. Italian ones are much better.

It's on good location in center of town. Service was good but for using their restroom it's only one disable toilet is for customer which you need to ask members of staff to open the door for you it's only available for customers. They do have another toilet which used by staff only. One toilet no matter how long is the queue .

Only 2 staff. Had 2 wait while deliveries were done while there was a queue in shop

Specific to this day: sitting outside with huge umbrellas over some seating but set up in a way that meant they did not stop cutomers getting wet in the rain :-(

Didn't even know there was a Costa at the back of tescos. It was very nice e up there and they will open the seating area tomorrow. The staff were very friendly as well.

Staff should speak better English. I didn't understand a word the man was saying as he spoke in a strong foreign accent to me, which was very off putting as a customer it wasn't very unprofessional. I think Costa Manager should train the staff better to communicate clearly.

I ordered from this costa coffee from Uber eats, since we’re in lockdown again and you can’t eat in. The delivery guy was great and delivered with care. However, the hot drinks I ordered were half full in the cups which was so upsetting because I’ve paid money for it. I won’t be ordering again.

Costa coffe its my number 1 coffe shop have anything against the product but this shop in luton i think some of the stuff need customer service training hapeend with me 3 times now the lady embaressing me in front everyone raising her voice Telling me the covid 19 rules just entering the shop with everyone looking at me without reason wich realy make me get out of the shop . I belive this very rude of her specialy 3 times
