Costa Coffee in Highland

The Barrista at the cash register wanted to charge us full price for coffees that are supposed to have whip and drizzle on top, but didnt have any whip cream. Not paying over priced for some half done coffees?

Ways great service and the staff are well trained and knowledgeable after what's on offer

Consistently good coffee. There is also a great choice of cakes and snacks.

We have been using this one for few years when we visit Inverness, but recently it has really gone downhill, yesterday there was hardly food out and the entire place looked dirty and unloved, will be going somewhere else in the future, such a shame 😞

didn't appreciate having the order marked as delivered before the driver had even reached my house, making me think they had either delivered to the wrong place, or just not bothered to deliver at all.

This Costa has really gone downhill since the beginning of the year. I used to frequent quite often but since so many of the great staff members have moved to other branches or left the business, the place is barely open. Decided to pop in for a drink and sausage roll for my wee one, takeaway only, chairs on tables like they had been there for weeks. There were 3 members of staff and it took them so long to get any orders done and it wasn't busy. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife with the 3 lassies that were there, none of them spoke to each other and all looked like they'd had a massive argument. It made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer. The staff member who eventually served me was lovely and smiley unlike the others. It's not their fault that they are understaffed and I do feel sorry for them.

Constantly closed during open hours. No signs up, just doors locked. Used to be a great place to grab a coffee ☕ n my commute.

Not hygiene, I can't believe people are drinking coffee here after seeing the toilets. , nappies, and even the sink had poop in it !!! Disgusting !!!!

Went for coffee but needed toilet first, if the toilet cleanliness is how they run the place I was not staying, sorry Nappies overflowing onto floor washhand basin had faeces in it, not what you would expect if regular hygiene checks are done

Marked as "delivered" with absolutely no follow up and driver never getting anywhere close to my house. This was not intended to be a £45.16 "donation" to Costa/Just Eat (especially as that was our big meal for the day/takeaway budget for the week).

A Costa without WiFi, what's the point?

Came in around 12pm today (22nd April) and was served by the most lovely girl. She was blonde with a fringe. She was very sweet and very quick at her job and she made my day.

I think they had a broken machine and some days they served slower for this reason. For everything else, friendly and attentive staff. Delicious coffee

Waited at least 15minutes for our coffee , tables were dirty , three people on duty still slow service 👎👎

Like Costa's coffee but the queue in this branch can become ridiculous.

2.30pm on Sunday 31st March. Costa not busy - maybe 6 other people there. Waiting for my friend I sat near the door. All the tables were dirty with left over cups and papers. The chairs were also disgustingly dirty. 3 staff behind the counter and no-one waiting to be served. Staff were having a good laugh tho. My friend arrived and we went to counter to order. Staff were friendly but had to request my croissant 3 times after I'd received my coffees... We sat nearer the back at a cleared table. The seats were absolutely filthy so we had to search for clean ones. As usual our coffees and food were lovely. We stayed for a hour. On leaving at approx 3.30pm no tables had been cleared and none of the staff were seen clearing or wiping tables or chairs. All 3 staff still having a laugh behind the counter with no-one waiting to be served. Very disappointing. Used to be such a nice, clean Costa. Badly needing a manager to supervise the staff and training on cleaning required!!!

Average Costa drinks and food, but outstandingly grubby! Dirty tables, floor, chairs, upholstery horribly stained, walls dirty and marked. Quite unpleasant.

Toilets are a shambles today....womens toilets out of order...had to use disabled ♿ toilets...they are a disgrace...the door was not the easiest to slide open or to close how to you expect a disabled person to access these facilities.. your premises need to fix the door pronto ...so that's reason I didn't give u full stars...

Mixed experiences - Saturday 2nd March arrived five minutes after opening time to see staff still putting out cake, doors locked… zero eye contact and after long wait had to leave without coffee. Sunday 3rd March open on time and great service on this occasion.

Only 1 drink arrived so driver went back for the other 4 and when she eventually delivered those they were all cold as they had been sat in Costa on the counter.

Everything was ok but nothing special for what is a fairly expensive coffee shop. It used to be you would go to a Costa and it would be peaceful and comfortable, allowing you to relax and enjoy a well made coffee. Not here sadly. Tables are close together and the nature of the space which feels very prefabricated and uncosy means it's very noisy. On top of that there is a constant stream of people and staff going past. Coffee was as per, so ok, but the Rocky Road tray bake was a big let down for the price tag. Not very tasty and if I'm honest a bit stale tasting. This place would be fine for takeaway coffee but not for a relaxing coffee break. There are enormous table decorations suspended from the roof made from coffee cups. These are filthy with dust and pretty off putting when sitting underneath one with your food and coffee.

10/10! Drinks are super tasty and cheap, the workers are super nice and the location is great!

Loved the maple hazelnut capachino and cinnamon cruffin. Staff were extremely friendly and shop spotlessly clean.

Went for breakfast before, the drive back down the A9. 2 cappuccinos and 2 bacon rolls. Well worth a stop at Costa Coffee.

We always use the town centre Costa,great service staff etc but giving the retail park one another go after feeling like customers were a hinderence as the staffs Friends were in,yet again service really bad,why don't people realise the customer pays your wages,I will make sure we do not go back there

Driver dropped order. Just dumped rubbish with me and left. No offer of getting a new order. No refund. Just a store credit £3 for just eat, less than what I paid. Absolute rubbish

I asked for brown sugars and got none, I have no sugar in my house 🙈 or I wouldn't be bothered 🤣

I ordered it at 8.30 I didn't receive it until 9.40! The timing kept changing. I ordered it at 8.30 as I have work, I didn't even get to enjoy it as I had to leave as soon as it arrived!!

I visited twice today. Once was busy and the other at the end of the day not so. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. A particular shout out to James and Francesca. Such an asset to the company. Their welcome and work ethic was as strong at the end of the day as the beginning. Our drinks were yummy. 😊 We travel many miles and visit many Costa's. This one will stay as one of our favourite memories. Hope to see you all again. Sue and Martin x ❤️

Great service will order again

The order was 2 bacon rolls short which cost almost 10 pounds this is not right and i will not order from here again .

A sorry note was attached to my coffee saying they ran out of the food we ordered. No refund or alternative was offered. Awaiting refund and contact from justeat help

We went for a late lunch, we were served by James and matuez made the coffee, both of these guys are an absolute asset to your company, they were both smiling and very helpful, they made our lunch enjoyable

Friendly delivery driver, great food

The woman who was serving me, had a big mouth on her. The coffee was fine but, the atmosphere was dull.

I have REPEATEDLY had issues with ordering from this Costa. I regularly order from here and haven't quite worked out if there's a pattern to the problem, but somebody is incapable of counting to 3. Order 3 rolls, one arrives. Will be ordering elsewhere from now on. Would encourage other customers to do the same, unless you enjoy letting a shop borrow your money for 7 days.

My son was looking for a bubble mango drink for the 2nd time in couple of days. No bubbles both times and still charged the same!

23rd July 2022 - 2pm. People who served us were lovely. Our fajita wrap came back cold however, so I politely asked the girl if it could be heated up a bit more. She replied that she would have to heat up a new one. Understandable. However later on, a male member of staff (didn’t get a name) made a remark about their being starving children in Afghanistan… in our presence. We didn’t mind it being reheated but presumably the company policy is not to reheat things. However, receiving a cold wrap, that’s supposed to be heated fully, isn’t what you pay for. So we weren’t being snobby we just asked for it to be hot, or at least not cold in the middle. There was no need for the staff member to make that comment. It was arrogant and seemed like he was showing off in front of his colleagues. I hope that isn’t what Costa strive for in their employees.

added a note to ask for vegan macaroni or vegan panini instead as i know they have these in stock but they are not available on app. however i recieved a dairy macaroni and would’ve preferred a refund.

Nice enough place not one of my usual spots but good enough in a pinch. The staff seem nice enough, hot drinks taste great and are for a decent price. Very little food options but where there is is food enough but pricey though.

Asked for sausage bap and was sent bacon

Went in for a quick takeaway before driving to Edinburgh. Girl who served us was lovely however she was the only person working. Lots of people walked out. I've did wait however a 38 minute wait for a coffee that was cold wasn't the best. May just be a one off but due to unforeseen circumstances but one poor girl working herself isn't great.

It's a Costa, same as so many others. But is quite a long coffee shop, so there is plenty of seating and the seats are well spaced so it feels quite open and relaxed.

Mocha was almost like a hot chocolate..big bits of cocoa powder..not very well made

Met a friend mid journey travelling south. Rather tired Costa and the staff not bothered at all about service quality. Spilt my milk onto tray and then joked around with the other staff. Not a treat for a coffee break.

Just in for a quick coffee near closing time, staff very polite & quick service. Even near the end of the day cafe area very clean, but toilets were spotless & smelling fresh.. well done Costa Inverness.

It's fine. Service was speedy as it wasn't very busy. To be honest thought the shop is a little dark (dingy would be going too far) but I have been for coffee in many nicer places.

We visited on 2nd of January, mid way through a long 8+hr and exhausting drive. With 3 x vegans in tow and everything north of Dundee closed, (including the tesco cafe in the retail park, and Nandos) we thought we were screwed. However we popped in hear to a multitude of vegan options, a comfy seat and friendly service. You really got us out of a tight spot!!

Latte came with e tra shot of coffee which was jot requested made the latte undrinkable, both drinks sent in same bag so the hot drink melted the iced drink.. Not very good at all waste of money

Only leaving a review so the staff member who handled my call tonight hopefully gets some recognition. Although she was unsure on how to fix the situation on the phone there and then, she handled it all great & was really lovely & I just appreciate the fact she offered so many alternatives and made it a less stressful situation as sometimes it can go in another direction.

Tonight was the first night I had gone and sat inside Costa for over a year at The Retail park in Inverness. I asked for a medium Hot Chocolate with all the trimmings. I think it was loveliest and tastiest Hot Chocolate I have ever had! I was served by a lovely girl called Francesca who was quick, efficient and friendly and one Hell of a "Barissta". Will def be back again and enjoyed relaxing there too. Thanku Francessca 😁

Twice in row I've ordered 2/3 rolls and been handed one over at delievery. I didnt mind too much the first time but ordered 3 today and received one.

Visited today Sunday. Ordered 1 tea, bag on side, 1 large Cappuccino. 1 Ham/Cheese toastie and 1 Tuna Panini. Cost £14+. Toasties at £4 overpriced, cheapest of bread, ham & cheese. Tuna at £4 overpriced. Coffee OK. Won't be back, you are now on our hitlist. Don't worry you're not alone.

Food was hot when delivered but i didn't get what I ordered. Ate it anyways as just come off Nightshift and was hungry... I ordered the breakfast wrap and the sausage roll instead got a bacon bap and a sausage bap.. maybe would be a good idea to not have the items on the app if not available.. or let your customers know your changing there order if things aren't available instead of just randomly giving them different items...

The order never came. Had to get in touch with just eat too. Delivery drivers have no idea where they’re going. Can’t rate the drink as it never came, and no communication from the driver either.
