Friendly staff. Nice and clean.

I frequently order from here and the coffee is great - and they do oat milk lattes brilliantly! My favourite is the all day breakfast wrap and it’s SO tasty! And the delivery drivers are cheerful. All in all, really good!

I have tried moat coffees at london. TOP 1 COSTA.

Best managed Costa Coffee around….. Kyri (Kyriacos), the Manager and his Team provide a warm and friendly welcome every time. They listen to how you like your order and remember it next time! The Baristas are expertly trained and enthusiastic, the toasties are always nice and hot not luke warm and the premises are immaculately clean and fresh. An absolute breath of fresh air. Would give more stars if I could. Well done to Kyri and his Team who put all the other Costa branches to shame.

The manager,Kieran, and his team provide the best welcome and customer service on the High Street. They create a very friendly and professional atmosphere and it’s always super clean.

Did not have any food, friendly staff will to help.

Update February 2024. A typical Costa cafe, but which seems to have been recently renovated. It is quite spacious and has a few tables in front of the perimeter of the cafe. It probably could have provided a warmer atmosphere, and the space it has would have had enormous potential in this regard. Although it is clean and seems to be well arranged, it seems to lack something to provide that pleasant atmosphere. And the furniture is already damaged, and that doesn't seem to bother anyone much. I put my coffee on the table and it wobbled and half of my coffee ended up on the table and on the floor. It was nothing serious, as I enjoyed the other half, but still... it could have spilled over me or someone else... The staff are nice instead, and they even wanted to offer me another coffee, but as I said earlier, as much as was left in the cup was enough for me. 🙂 May 2023. A very good cafe. Clean and a pleasant atmosphere. The coffee ☕ is good. The only thing is, they serve you in disposable cutlery because the dishwasher doesn't work. You can enjoy the coffee indoors or outdoors. They have a few tables in front of the cafe, but they are practically on the street (as usual in London). On Saturday, around 3 pm, it was not crowded.

Only giving this place a 5 star because of the barista "Fatima", was visiting from the US and tried this place she was so friendly and awesome literally the reason I came back every morning during my trip, felt like it was my sister, she deserves a promotion asap!

I visited on a Sunday in the middle of the day. I waited a couple of minutes to be served and then someone pushed in front of me and the woman serving didn't even notice and just started serving the guy who literally just walked in. I turned around and walked out the door. If you work in a coffee place and don't notice a person who is waiting to be served even though they're standing there for 2 minutes, you should probably find another job. Anyway, I walked rather than making a scene and that will be my first and only visit to this branch.

Friendly staff, acceptable coffee, the store was quite dirty which let it down ultimately.

Never going there again. Staff don't know what they're doing, gave my mum a normal tea when she asked for camomile tea, the regular hot chocolate tastes of caramel - if I wanted a caramel taste I'd have asked for caramel latte. The plate my cake was on was soaking wet, not a fan of soggy cake. And the code system for the toilet is ridiculous. You don't realise you need a code from your receipt until you've shoved your receipt in the depths of your pocket or bag, and when you do get in there, they're not clean and they smell. Will take our money to Caffè Nero over the road next time.

Another great Costa Coffee shop, this one hidden in the heart of Balham. Had a great time with my friend here as we went out for a coffee morning.

They have had a flickering light for weeks now. Not good for someone who suffers from epilepsy. Staff say they have reported it. Nice and clean with friendly staff

Absolutely appalling service. We ordered nearly £80 worth of drinks to be delivered which was late. We lost about 5 of the drinks. They were cold, no sugars and weren’t labelled properly so we didn’t know which drinks were decaf etc. The order was wrong, missing drinks and the teas didn’t come with milk. To add to it the broken bags and spilt coffee everywhere has spilt all down my clothes. Also the delivery drivers couldn’t speak English so I was able to resolve the matter there and then.

Had a lovely coffee morning with friends really friendly and helpful staff. Would gave given them 5stars but the air conditioning was on and it was a touch cold.

Perfectly ok place for a hot drink but their opening times have changed. Edit submitted on 2/2/22 but not yet changed by Google. They close at 530 most days now

Quick service, not cheap but nevertheless always busy.

Very clean establishment. Staff is super friendly, efficient and professional. The coffee is brilliant and the snacks are of excellent quality. The cafe remains open till 7pm.

Coffee could probably be way better if staff would be passionate about being a Barista. Shame.

As a barista, the coffee was divine, Nocolo knows what he is doing! The other staff were friendly and fast at cleaning and sanitizing the area. However the food choices behind the counter and in the sandwich section were almost bare. Too bare for middle of the day in my opinion. Their clothes were clean, their work station was clean. The cups on top of the coffee machine need sorting out tho. Few minor tweaks but all in all a wonderful customer experience.

This is a good place to have coffee in a peaceful environment. It's worth for the money spent. The staff are really friendly and hospitable. They have all the necessary safeguards for Coronavirus.

A much cleaner and less congested branch than other Costas. Staff is very friendly and efficient too. Lovely decor. But I still don't like the coffee quality unfortunately.

Sunday 29th Dec, 11am. Terrible attitude from 2 male staff, toilets are appalling!!!!! Certainly haven't been checked recently. Won't be coming here again.

What dreary place to have a coffee. Staff are nice and friendly but inside it is like a supermarket coffee shop. Cheap interior decor no imagination. Stock pictures of London nothong local of Balham. Wifi is rubbish. Why do they have o2 Wi-Fi and not their own?

Good coffee, tasty cookies, friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, comfy seats and clean toilets. Only complaint is that sometimes the manager puts the air conditioning on far too cold.

Twice they've given me a completely different drink than what I asked for and when told the order was wrong did nothing about it....

The staff is very slow. Lack of organisation.

Asked for a soya latte and they gave me a normal one. I asked for soya milk for a reason and they couldn't be bothered to do what they are asked to do. Been sick all day because of this. And another time went in to get a cake and they didn't have the cake I was looking for. They run out of vanilla syrup another time. Been there 3 times and each time they do not provide a good service. Not going there again and will go to Nero coffee on the opposite road as there they do have more options and they actually give you soya milk when you asked them.

Bad coffee, bad attitude. Can't get pic to upload but latte that was basically a glass of milk. Man and lady working there no problem to sort. However rude, surly younger guy with hair in hairband needs to find something he's good at. Rude as u like and can't make coffee! Back to Nero for me
