Costa Coffee in Chichester

This amazing man that always helps my autistic son try to communicate which is getting better as he takes his time with him trying to talk and say good morning or thank you which I have to keep reminding my son to say to him. what a lovely man thank you 😊

Great Costa. Food was pretty gross and expensive but thats not out of the ordinary. Came in and caused a scene. Baby spilt my coffee and Abby, our server was great, i asked for a cloth and they told us not to worry, came over and cleaned up. Abby then offered to remake my drink even though she didn't need to but she saw i lost the whole cup. I think she may have gotten in trouble as she came back and said she was sorry but she can only do a small. Great service, this lady will go far in the industry identifying ways she can help customers. Small acts of kindness go a long way to reduce a stressful situation quickly and easily.

Great team work here - nice to see people who value what they do!

We mainly use this Costa for their drive thru service which we find very convenient.

Delivery took ages and they didn’t have something that I ordered, and didn’t give me the money back

Perfect coffee shop with nice staff and products, but let down by no separate toilets for men snd women. Women have to sit on the toilet seat you know!! 🙄

Service was speechless and rude, drink wasn’t made properly with no explanation on them passing it over. Definitely don’t recommend.

Very slow service - stood waiting for 15 minutes with only 2 people in front. The drive thru seems to get priority always. Need to have more staff working to staff it.

Ordered a hot chocolate orange and it was lovely and hot! Really nice, polite worker named Josie who gave amazing customer care.

It's annoying that there are no printed menus so you have to wait for the digital screen to cycle so you can read it. Staff seemed rushed and irritated with each other. The location is good but nothing exciting to say about the atmosphere. Just had a slice of cake and a hot chocolate. It was good.

I only go in here if Tim hortons is closed. You don't even get acknowledged at the desk, regardless how empty, they will leave you standing there. always treated like they are doing you a favour. They could do with going in hortons and checking how customer service is supposed to be

Lost count how many times the website, the front door and the staff all interpret closing time as something different. Latest visit: website says closing time 9pm. I turned up at 7:50pm and checked. After a bit of thinking the young lad said inside closing is 8pm, drive through only until 9pm. Honestly, they don’t deserve the custom. Tim Hortons next door - service has improved immeasurably and they are open when they say they will be.

Ordered 2 coffees - advised 15-20 mins but took an hour. Cappuccino half full and stone cold. Awful.

Terrible service, no queue straight in drive through but I had to wait 5 mins for a simple drink. No apology, zero customer service

A lovely stop off whilst out shopping for the day though the service was a little slow the team working there are friendly and helpful, it was clean, the food and coffee were lovely and it was overall ideal

Great service from costa and the delivery man 😁 he left the bag outside my flat door but made sure I was there first and I find that very respectful 😊 thank you for a pleasant delivery.

I was served by Jack and was very pleased with his service and he made me feel welcome.

Tonight myself, son and daughter visited this costa and were served by a really helpful, happy and polite young man called Jack. He really went out of his way to make us feel so welcome. Well done Jack a real credit to Costa.

Takeaway toast and butter ordered. Had to wait for it then brought through and left on side. When I opened the bag there was toast, 3 flora not butter and no means to spread it on. Hope the birds enjoyed my breakfast!

This is a tale of two visits. Visit one:- 2 hours before closing time. Its was closed. The Tim Hortons next door had a queue out the door. Visit two:- 4 hours before closing time. Four members of staff, only one serving customers. As for the rest, one cleaning, one just standing there, and a manager giving them orders, but never saying "the most important thing, and the reason we are here, is to serve the customers"

Stopped by here when my driving test was at Chichester. Friendly staff. Good parking. Drive Thru and outdoor seating available as well.

Had an Americano coffee, with no milk, and a Blueberry Muffin. Place was not too busy and served quickly. Tables were being cleared and cleaned when I was sitting there enjoying my drink and muffin.

Very slow service, tables again never cleared or cleaned. Average coffee. Not the best and could be more efficient

Friendly staff always greated with a smile.

Staff could do with learning some basic manners. Also asked for a hot chocolate for a kid and come out boiling hot.

I ordered a "meal deal" but then look at my account to see i was charged for each item individually, effectively paid more than double.

Carried out a mystery shop on this branch and was shocked to find that all the tables, seats and floor were extremely dirty and had clearly not been cleaned for hours. When we went in to the store there was one lady in front of us and it still took 15 minutes to receive our drinks and had to ask about the food we ordered after 20 minutes. The service and hygiene of this store was bordering on vile. If a food hygiene inspector came in to the store on Saturday 10th September at around 1pm I’m sure they would have closed the store immediately due to lack of cleanliness. Would not recommend.

Used to be good but opening times are not as advertised. Closed by 3.45 today, last 3 times the drive through has been closed

Friendly and helpful staff. But cutlery wasn't cleaned properly and had to be swapped. My croissant was a bit dry - like it was a couple of days old. It was okay, not bad, but just okay.

Opening hours are a work of fiction. Visited today expecting cafe to be open until 6pm (as per the advertised hours on the website) and they sold me a coffee at 3.40, waited 10 minutes, and then told me they were closing at 4pm. There was also something wrong with the cream on my frappe - it looked curdled and tasted off

Pre ordered for pick up at the drive through at 5.30 on Sunday and ordered a Frappe choc chip and mint, which I managed to spill on myself and in the car a horrible mess, the young man was so helpful in helping me clean it up and even gave me another one for free, as it was my mistake I didn't expect this, so please congratulate him on handling a difficult situation well and being sympathetic and kind, well done Costa, Chichester, your staff are great, and the second Frappe good too⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just bought two large latte's, one normal and one with Caramel. We couldn't drink both coffee's! They tasted awfully wrong! We went back to the drive thru and the lady at the window who proclaimed to be the manager was extremely rude. Rather than sorting out the issue, she was being rude about it and very argumentative. She needs to learn how to respect people and to provide a good service to the customer!!! Avoid buying your coffee's from there!!!

Great place- but loads of car park building work, so its congested. Costa was 👍 great.

For a new store that been open a few months lack in training as no allergies was ask at time of ordering and cashier didn't know what she was doing. The toilets was dirty and smelled bad. When my order turned up my hot chocolate was only just warm spoke to the till person and nothing was done. When to ask to speak to a manager got told no one was available Well definitely not be back absolutely shocking !!!!!!

some staff friendlier than other, blond lady with specs in the till, rude in a couple of occasions, however she did make nice coffee

Stopped to pick up a coffee this morning Friday 15th July at 6.30am there were about 5 cars waiting at the drive thru so we joined the queue our order was taken by a lovely cheerful lady who apologised for any delay as she was on her own She was an absolute Credit to the company she was extremely busy but took no longer really then you would normally wait . She was so polite ,friendly and smiley while under the pressure of taking orders making orders up and taking payments multi tasking at its best . thank you

Fairly prompt service and choice of snacks. Coffee could do with being slightly warmer

There is a sign on the door that says it closes at 5pm however I was there at 16:56 and the door was locked. There was an employee stacking the sandwiches and looked at me twice saw I had a Costa to go cup in my hands and ignored me completely. It is not the first time I have had employees at this Costa be rude to me which is unfortunate as I do love Costas hot chocolates.

Great staff amazing service. Normally use mc Donald's coffee which is cheaper but rather pay more because of the service level / better tasting coffee

Sadly took the offer from the staff regarding winter blend,supposed to be smoother and less bitter. Worse decision ever.absolutely rank. Just stick to the normal blend. Waste of £10.
