Costa Coffee in Manchester

Really good Costa. Lovely coffee , quick service and nice atmosphere.

The man who was serving the coffee was friendly and good in the way he talk. Polite and cheerful.

Staff were so incredibly friendly. Everyone seemed to be having a nice time. Helpful and considerate. One of the better Costas I've been to in a long time. Xx Ordered a tea while I waited for someone - tasted as expected.

Nice and clean and plenty of tables

Delicious Cappuccino and Biscuit plus their Salami and Pesto Sandwich with Sun Dried Tomatoes was very tasty.

This particular Costa was terrible. It was filthy behind the counter with a lot of mess. The downstairs toilet was also dirty. I ordered 2 x Bacon Baps as they looked great in their marketing picture on the menu. What I got was terrible, dry, tasteless and should not have been served to guests. Will not be hurrying back to a Costa again.

Very average place. Had to clean my own table, and it wasn't even busy. Even when asking for blue roll and some spray, I was given it, without an offer from staff to do it. The hot chocolate wasn't very good either. It Tasted cheap.

What great staff. Especially both guys. So happy and a big morning to make your day happy. Great selection and great coffee 🍵

Same like all other Costa coffee there are two entrances from the front and back and lots of seating arrangements in the upstairs, staff are very friendly and ready to help.. ..

a rude worker came up to us and kicked us out just because we didn’t buy anything. we are students who are working and had no place to sit and eat lunch. the prices are horrid and the atmosphere was shocking!! the worker in there had a horrid attitude.

A standard Costa , pretty expensive coffee

Staff always very quick when I am in hurry to go to work early in the morning! Nick thank you for being so positive and kind you made my day 😊 sometimes you wake up grumpy and all you need is someone to ask you genuinely how you are doing and be positive! We need more people like Nick in this world!! It is Something so simple but it can change someone's day which is huge, and people forget that, and become distant. So thanks again!

Stayed in a hotel nearby so was here a lot getting coffees, breakfast etc. The best Chai Latte I've ever had, highly recommend. Coffee was great, good flavour & robust. The quality of food, snacks & bakery products here is the best I've ever experienced at any Costa, maybe they store their items better than other outlets. I found the sandwiches & toasted products very fresh, Sweet Slices had a great crumb base that didn't come apart & the Lemon Muffins were amazingly fresh with a delicious fruity centre. The only upsetting experience was the staff with blonde tips who rolled his eyes at me because I wasn't ready when he asked for my order. There was nobody waiting behind me & it was almost empty inside. It's ok for customers to take their time deciding since we're paying! Staff shouldn't be giving a sarcastic attitude because customers don't jump to attention - there's a huge drinks menu, give customers some time to look through it all.

Very nice service. Latte Medium is really nice and big. The price is also very good. Clean and well-maintained store. If we are in Manchester again we will come back.

When I received my coffee it wasn’t packed properly and was leaking . I haven’t received a full cup which I have paid for . Half of the cup was already leaked . Not impressed . I paid £3.49 delivery charge on top not for half cup . Not a happy customer 😣

As always staff super friendly / helpful & coffee fantastic - piping hot & brewed to perfection - there a new a new friendly super efficient manager too :) Above all the internal layout, spacious but understated is one of the best in the region and city centre is just a 10 min walk away as is walking at the peaceful local canal

I ordered 2 hot chocolate and 2 chicken bacon Toasties BOTH Toasties WERE MISSING WHEN ORDER ARRIVED I ONLY RECEIVED THE 2 DRINKS. So now I have to spend more money ordering from McDonald's as Costa failed me completely. These clowns have ZERO respect for the customer... AVOID!!

How come costa coffee never seams to grasp how to froth oat flat white, every other coffee shop seems to be knowledgeable it the art of frothing Oat milk. That tells that Costa isn't all that atleast Ancoats isn't. The staff seem to have an attitude problem this morning when I asked them about it. Not impressed costa coffee Account 😥😥

Staff is very rude mainly the male guys and speaking laud I always spend 10to 20 pounds every day in costa but what I’m going this costa I never got full meals that change me but that not providing me for what I’m paying is ripping off never ever again please chang the staff

It was excellent. They had everything we needed.. It has variety of options which make your choice easier.. lovely place..it has rear parking for up to 2 houres which is great..but do read the signs alwayes.

The manager at this store appears to be very stressed and takes it out on his customers. LUKAASS (pictured below) the in-store manager is very argumentative and aggressive after arguing with me now in store after he ordered me to sit down and wait for my order. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a costa store. I love Costa as a brand and I have never experienced this kind of service inside of a branch. I then rang the store to gain the store number to make a complaint and the person who answered the phone said she was too busy to find out that piece of information; while proceeding to take orders whilst I was on the line. Clearly staff were trying to deter me from making a complaint. I have now made a formal complaint against this store as it is just unacceptable behaviour from grown adults. It appears this incident is not isolated as the two previous reviews detail extremely poor customer service, also mentioning Lukas. A third review specifically mentions a blunt and impolite male in this store, given my experience today I believe that to be Lukass too. Sue from SimTrava has now rang me asking to remove this post to cover up this incident.

Lovely coffee shop, super lovely and nice!

This is my local coffee shop and i absolutely love it there. They are always looking after me and they are indeed really helpful with all customers.

I love this Costa. I have written to Costa customer service a couple of times just to praise the staff there. They are amazing, even when the queue is out of the door they work fast, friendly and never get anything wrong. The place is always clean. Probably the best Costa in the city centre area.

One of the nicer Costas in Manchester. Those in the city centre resemble glorified cafeteria but I guess they are handy for the shops.

It's usually busy, only two staff and therefore takes longer. My drink is always warm not like the other shops. Three staff could help reduce the waiting times.

Arrived at bust period in the morning but didn’t have to wait long to be served, really friendly greeting from staff, clean tables and comfortable chairs. Thanks for your hard work especially through lockdown.

I am staying in the hotel upstairs and and this is a very handy place to come down and do some work as it’s a pleasant environment and not too busy. Lovely customer service from the manager and the lady with the blonde hair and made to feel welcome thanks.

Clean, tidy, typical average Costa experience. Light, bright restaurant with big windows designed on 2 floors. No parking nearby so be prepared to walk. Built into a high rise complex but on the ground floors. Upstairs is not easy to access for the less able bodied. Quite large and spacious especially upstairs. Update 1: Apparently there is free parking here somewhere according to other reviews. Blessed if I could find the entrance and I drove round 3 times. Update 2: Car park entrance is the IBIS hotel entrance. Use the green spaces. Have attached a pic of the back entrance and the hotel entrance. It's just by the traffic lights.

Lovely staff, classic Costa coffee (usually with the best vegan options Costa has to offer) I think the highlights of this Costa are the staff (who are again exceptional) and the fact that it works really well as a study space in the upstairs Only problems are that there's no gender neutral bathroom and the light sensor is very eager to say no one is still in there (going dark when washing hands etc) but it's not too much of a hassle

Very basic but great for a night out crash, the female dorm and bathrooms are by far the cleanest I found in a hostel in the UK. Sturdy bunk beds, won't shake whatsoever. Every bed has its light, plug + usb plugs. Better if you have earplugs because of the vent noise and a black mask. The hostel is run like a business, not by volunteers. It has no community vibes because people stay just 1 night, but you'll sleep tight.

Employee Lucas should not be employed here!! He is rude and bullies the female staff which I witnessed today, This was even extended a minute later to a vegan female customer! He told her she could NOT have marmalade or jam as in HIS MIND vegans can't have them!! Myself and other customers queuing left the shop in disgust!! He needs sacking NOW I have had to give one star as otherwise unable to post

It's a Costa. Not much else to say. I suppose it always seems clean, service is good and there's free parking available. Would be nice to see Costa introduce more Vegan options for food.

I have never experienced this kind of service inside of a Costa Coffee branch. If too busy, this begs the question, why answer the phone. This was a clear case of in store staff trying to deter me from making a complaint. I am a regular customer of the costa coffee in great ancoat and coming almost everyday staying for two about two hours because it is quiet and very neat. But the guy who is working doesn't give or use the right way of customer service. I asked him if there is a chicken type breakfast and he said I don't know you have to find out what is inside without politness. I don't think it is wrong to ask a question for what you want to be served. It doesn't happen once it happens everyday I am in. So needs some improvements by either letting him know what he has to do . Thanks

Worst costa for customer service I have ever been.

I have been a customer 12 year plus and I have never experienced the worst customer service ever. The lady serving at the till was rude and racist as she picked all black people and asked them to log into the vode barr for Covid19 while she did not on white people. When I challenged it she said that she asks everyone to do it but she didn't as I were standing there to see her. I challenged her again about it but at the same time I didn't want to be rude myself too and let go.

Personal amable clientela lo mismo solo personas disfrutando de un café, etc. Dado que el bloqueo ha comenzado a levantarse, se parece a un borracho callejero cruzado con un cr che de niños.
