Nice place to go to and meet up with friends,plenty of choice for drinks and snacks, staff very polite

We visited and were told , no china cups as they didn't want to wash them as they were understaffed. Saw staff putting out cakes, just wiping down a plate with their hands and then adding other cakes to the same old plate. Really put me off. In terms of cross contamination and food handling. Toilets have no ventilation and really smelt.

Usual Costa range. Click and collect service via the app was very quick on my last two visits. Like all Costa's not dog friendly but you can sit outside on the benches.

My first time here & it was lovely. Nice friendly staff, clean tables, sitting area & toilets. I had a large latte it was very nice 😊

Very expensive compared with London but good coffee

Costa' s in general are not always my cup of tea. Pun intended. However, the gentleman who was serving was incredibly friendly and asked everyone who ordered how they were and what they were up to. Top notch service. Makes a difference.

If you want to enjoy your costa experience do not use this one, the 'trainee' LAURA is rude devoid of customer relations and just how to speak to people with manners and any comprehension of customer relations...then thinks she can laugh at her rudeness to people....Will be informing the franchise.

Always closing early on a random basis for 'staff shortages' - but has no vacancies. Just look at the popular times on Google - there's no entry for any day after 3pm yet allegedly they say they open till 4pm. Closes at 2pm every single Sunday. Like now, yet there's 3 staff inside laughing at people going to the door. More likely is they aren't short, they just want to go on the dot and don't know how to manage a closing time. 3rd time I've been let down with random early closing for 'staff shortages' recently. I'm done. Will never take a trip here again. Normal for here; rude staff, very dirty seats, no empties collected for hours, no aircon, broken till for months so they can't add or redeem points (more like don't want to). Really gone from one of the best to being *the* worst Costa in a 50 mile radius.

Visited here on Sunday 18/08/2024 at 15.10 & was rather rudely told that I couldn't purchase hot food because they close at 15.30, website states 16.00. We went to KFC next door and ordered our food & drink , service was excellent. As we sat outside to eat we watched Costa staff leave & lock up at 16.02. I & my friends were regular customers here but will not revisit. We will use local businesses instead, Costa really don't care & you can't even complain to head office as there phone lines are now permanently closed.

Almost always shut for delivery. Even when it’s 9:30 in the morning. That is the only con when it comes to delivering from here.

Sadly there's alway something wrong at this branch. Today the Internets gone down so so contactless or Costa rewards, this isn't the first time. Guess this isn't a store the Area Manager cares about. Once you get to the till the guy tends to be overly chatty which holds up the queue. All in all, most Costa's are better, go to a different one.

I ORDERED FOOD, THEY CHARGED ME, THEN MY DELIVERY CAME WITH JUST A NOTE SAYING SORRY WE RAN OUT OF FOOD, IM SORRY WTFF!! Absolutely appalling

It's a coffee place. What more can I say. A place like this doesn't need a review they're all the same, and they all offer a good variety of drinks and food available to all dietary requirements. Personally, I think Costa cost-a lot. I do think they're overpriced. Will that stop me buying one? Probably not it's good coffee and a nice place to go if you fancy a quick bite to eat with a summer or winter beverage. Whatever tickles your fancy

The staff and service were great, but it was extremely noisy, especially when staff started to sweep etc and move tables which grated on wooden floor. Needs some soundproofing!!

Dirtiest seats ever seen. Staff decided at 4pm to heavily hint they were closing in 45 minutes and unprofessionally discuss the state toilets in front of customers. Nope worst Costas ever.

My food did not get delivered and I paid £23.00 and It said it was delivered at 12.35. It was not!

It's Costa, what else is there to say

Driver didn’t knock. Whole order was cold. Left it on my doorstep.

I called in for coffee and a toasted sandwich. The cappuccino was not offered with chocolate until I asked. The toasty was flaccid and untoasted on one side. When I took it back I was informed that it was an automatic setting and even though I pointed out the uncooked bread I was dismissed. No attempt to offer a replacement or recook. I wouldn't recommend this Costa it is the worst service I have ever received.

Waited an hour for this delivery. It arrived and the cream on our two frappes were sour and inedible.

As usual the staff and atmosphere was second to none. Coffee and food first class. My only niggle is the wifi, sometimes takes ages to connect or not at all, mostly with 'couldn't obtain ip address' error message. It does get busy in there but I doubt all the ip addresses have been allocated. In all the other Costa shops nearby I can connect straight away.

Would give zero stars if I could. Wanted a drink in but told by staff we ONLY do takeaway cups as it’s 30 minutes to close. Clearly can’t be bothered to wash dishes around closing time. Poor show. 👎🏻👎🏻

Standards always maintained. Look after their customers ensuring their drinks etc are brought to their tables when necessary.

My 3 years old son and I went to grab some crisp and hot chocolate and they refused to serve us at 15:45 saying they have understaffed and they have to close immediately. We were okay whit this, even we were the last customer on the queue... but we left because what we can do...However one young man went to the shop and he got served with hot drinks sandwiches etc... So my question is .. how on earth he got served?and me and my son just refused straight away...so I went back and asked an email address to contact or manager....they said on the first place will give me, but when the front counter person (Channel) went back to the office and came back informed me NO managers, NO Email address where I can contact...I asked why and her answer was ,,dont argue with me,, sp unprofessional and this is unacceptable!!! I'm not 16 years old girl to let anybody to talk with me like this....I don't want any free drinks or vouchers! just leave this feedback here and let the costa knows my best knowledge of closing property before the time online or on the door it is a fake information for the customers...and seeing the other reviews it is not the first time...and something to deal with the council too....

Friendly Helpful and Efficient and superb staff

As others have said, it’s fine when it’s open, but these days the number of times it closes early is becoming a bit of a joke. They blame staff shortages, but its gone on so long you start to question that excuse. So I’m bidding fair well to this Costa, as multiple times I’ve turned up for a late afternoon coffee and they’re shut. 👎

Nice costa with friendly staff and plenty of seating. Not a lot of sandwich choices in comparison to smaller costas I’ve been to before, maybe it’s because they have some M&S items instead.

Friendly, quick service anytime i went in. The gingerbread latte coffee was especially nice. Even got their TooGoodToGo bag which was filled with 4 yummy sandwiches for £3!

It’s great when it’s open. BUT lots of days closes early and it’s always due to a lack of staff. Head Office don’t care. Used to be nice regular staff, now it is just anyone who’s passing. I love Costa and this is convenient as close by BUT you need a mind reader to tell you when they’re shutting!!

I don’t usually like leaving a bad review I’m sorry but myself and my boyfriend attempted to come into this costa on Sunday. I felt as if we were spoken to very rudely! For starters they didn’t even apologise they just said “we are shutting early due to lack of staff”. There was 3 of them working at the time. We just turned around and walked out. Not great service unfortunately. Won’t be returning

Clean Costa ,just the prices always seem to creep up .

It's not as quick and easy as the Costa in town. They are quite young workers, most of the time my order isn't what I asked for even though I was charged and then seem to look at you strangely when you ask for what you paid for. Think they need at least an older manager to help them it may move a bit more smoothly as most people coming to that one are normally in a rush

Not happy we had ask food which we didnt get then thy asked had we paid we gave our recietthen we got out food rude thy even asked if we paid for cream on the drink how dare thy hiw rude was that !!

A traditional Costa. You know what you're getting! Only criticism, was the tables were all full and we wanted to drink in. Had to go on benches outside, which, in effect is on the edge of a busy retail park car park.

Must say a far better experience against other Costa coffees. I usually make an effort to avoid them. But i thought to give another go in a local branch. Not a long wait which is always nice. Very helpful staff,that actually looked like they enjoyed the job. Food and drink selection is very good, espically as I need to avoid lactose. We all dined in and must say it is kept very clean and gave us a pleasant experience hence the 5 stars. Very well done!

Went in to Costa coffee ☕ with my Darling Kerry 💕, not very often together do we go anywhere 😀. I had a Latte with Almond and Caramel flavours, Kerry had hot Chocolate, extra hot, a large Ginger bread Cookie 🍪, and a Lemon 🍋 Muffin both 😋 shared, cost alot, but worth it. Service was good, place was clean, but not tidy, couple of tables, still had used cups etc on them, otherwise all good. Thanks.

Have been to this Costa regularly since it opened and it’s usually a long wait and understaffed but they’ve really got their act together. Every single member of staff were efficient, friendly and helpful (especially Nick the manager, Stephen, Lori, Lucy and Omega) and I really enjoyed my coffee here this morning.

The nicest Costa shop I've ever been in, quite new, but smart, spacious interior and no tables waiting to be cleared. Coffee still not the best, but convenient as on the local retail park.

What’s happened to this place. It was a lovely Costa when it opened. Now the place is calling apart. The sign has been broken for months. There is litter all over the entrance where the bins are overflowing. I asked for a cold brew again for the 5th time they say we have not made its I asked why and the manager was really rude and said “because we haven’t.” Won’t be coming back here. Lazy, rude staff.

Nightmare if you like cold brew. I get pretty excited each year around summer because Costa make cold brew coffee… something that should really be available all year like their other cold drinks. Either way if you come to this Costa they never have it. If you come at 9am as they open they don’t have it, lunch time they don’t and near close. They say they have sold out but I think they just don’t bother. One time they had it and it tasted terrible. Like they brewed it for 4 hours, no taste. Usually Costa make amazing cold brew. This store totally lets the chain down. I visit Costa all over the country as I travel for work. This store lets them all down. The staff don’t care either. They either go silent or look at each other and laugh. Not going back here. Also please empty the bins. I had to Wade through 2 overflowing bins outside with Costa cups everywhere.

I got a coffee from Costa to go today . When about to pay the girl said to me that if I didn't have a mask next time they wont serve me - maybe they should realise people who dont wear mask are exempt and not put them on the spot - as it says on the Goverment guidelines you dont have to have proof. Made me feel very uncomfortable .
