I normally have a lovely experience,i am used to the lovely focused staff and incredible drinks however, the staff that was serving on the 4th of june were unfocused, chatting to each other which left me and other customers waiting for about 10 mins, took them ages to make as they were chatting and gossiping! i normally don’t like writing reviews but felt this was necessary:/ photo is supposed to be a mint choc chip frostino 🤦♀️

Was meeting a friend here, slightly worried due to COVID but felt completely safe. One way in one way out, someone on the door, tables have been removed so socially distanced, nice to see as alot of costa's are not doing this. Staff friendly too which is also a bonus !

We fancied a change from the hotel restaurant and the menu the Freke Arms offered had plenty of gluten-free options as well. We booked and received a message back quickly confirming the booking. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. Menu options were explained clearly and there were several specials on offer. The food we received was plentiful and very tasty indeed and the beer and wine were delicious. All the staff were friendly and we had a good chat about the pub as it had a bit of history. Karen and her staff went above and beyond and the service we received was first class. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly stop by the Freke Arms for a meal.

I met some friends in the Queens Tap for a few drinks and dinner. Although the food menu was limited there was still a reasonable range of food availble including pizza which I ordered. When the pizza arrived it was tasty, much bigger tjan I'd expected it to be and good value for what I'd paid. The only slight downside to the pub is that the garden is the smoking area.
