Costa Coffee in Wandsworth

The baristas are wonderful and attentive, however the manager(?) there is completely useless. I went at quite a busy time and was sat there for an hour or two. I watched a single barista make all the coffees, clean tables and take orders whilst the manager stood there smiling and having conversations. It took a while to get my coffee and sandwich because of this. In fact, when it was my turn to order the barista turned and looked to him and asked "can you make that" and he said "I'm busy but don't panic", ?????

The reason for three stars has nothing to do with the staff and their service. They're always great. I come here almost every day. I am.disappointed that Headquarters creates sandwiches with minimal amount of ingredients, meaning I just purchased as breakfast sandwich that has three spinach leaves, an extremely thin layer of eggs and a few mushrooms. They need to do a better job at making their breakfast sandwiches.

Prices are much higher than elsewhere, service is a little impersonal and they are often trying to push products I don't want. The saving grace is that it's an excellent, comfy space with plenty of seats.

Very good service, pretty good coffee, and very fast. A good place to have a quiet coffee while you have a meeting or work, the internet is not bad.

Hot chocolate Babyccinos are incredibly underrated for 70p, although I guess they cost less because they have a racial fetish-suggestive name 🤣

The inside of the store is bright and not too noisy, so I always use it before work and on holidays. Highly recommended!

I really like this Costa. It's clean and tidy, but the vegetarian food options were limited. The staff are very friendly and drinks well made. Next to East Putney tube station.

Great location, however the staff were completely uninterested in serving us (fyi and reference, this is Christmas time and the staff are wearing Christmas jumpers and Christmas items in their hair....) This is the season of goodwill and being friendly to people yet we were definitely served by a female Scrooge who couldn't have been more unfriendly, uninterested and couldn't even bring herself to make any eye contact with us. It was like we were imposing on her own personal time. Not that she is being paid to provide customer service or anything. I was staggered how unaware she was that this lack of professionalism to her is ok. Once we received the items just plonked down on the table , the drinks seemed more like a nightmare before Christmas drink rather than anything from the festive menu. No care, love or artistry for the Christmas drink offerings. The final slap in the face was my terrys chocolate orange hot chocolate had no more Terry's chocolate orange segments left, so they gave me an after eight mint instead..??? Great, so I want orange, chocolate and mint flavoured hot chocolate.... It's such a half hearted and non caring customer service we all receive now which is a wider scaled issue in many coffee and other establishments now...and we pay through the nose for these 'experiences' now..........awful...

Wifi has been broken for weeks, what is going on ?

A Sunday morning newspaper & coffee favourite. It is popular with young families so expect some noise.

Coffee always tastes good, never burnt or too milky. Staff friendly and batista always energetic (might be the coffee!)

Conveniently located near the train station, this Costa is close to the local Eats Putney main shopping parade. It has a nice l, relaxed atmosphere, with a good selection of standard Costa menu coffees, sandwiches, treats and snacks. The staff are courteous and welcoming. It has good WiFi for those wanting to work and have a tea or coffee.

Great team in this branch. Always attentive. If you like a big coffee this and Starbucks are the place to go. Neither serve delicious coffee imo however it is what it is and much needed on rhe way to work.

The food and drinks here are amazing and very tasty. You are able to different rewards with the Costa reward app, the staff are always friendly and serve you with a smile, greet you as they take your order and say enjoy your day when you leave

Fabulous staff who make the best coffee to brighten up your day.

I go here regularly for either a take-away coffee or a sit down drink. The ambience is great, with floor to ceiling glass making it a nice and airy atmosphere. September 2022 saw a refurb, too. Staff are great in there and really helpful (eg consistently hold open the door if you come with a buggy). Food isn't fabulous, although that's been acknowledge with the introduction of M&S food being available to buy now.

This Costa always has very nice staff. Kelly’s smiling hello today was very welcoming and the spotlessly clean counter are is so much better than many chain coffee shops.

Open early morning which is useful

Possibly the most sullen and unfriendly barista I have ever come across. Really unfortunate and surprising considering the size of Costa.

I just bought a Brie , Bacon and Cranberry pannini... just shocking. Hardly any brie, you could hardly taste it, and the tiniest sliver of bacon. More cranberry than anything else, that's all you could taste and the bread, still hungry now...im not want to usually complain but your food is expensive.

Just the same as any other Costa, nothing to make this stand out from the rest. So it is as it says on the tin, so to speak

Fast service, and a lovely sausage sandwich. Area available to sit outside.

Please extend your hours back to 7pm! There are always plenty of customers. Happy to change this to 5-Stars, just want to make sure you see this.

I ordered my coffee and it appeared as if by magic. By magic I mean it was expertly crafted by the barista with the perfect coffee to milk ratio.

This is a lovely place with consistently good coffee. The team of young staff who run it are some of the friendliest and most efficient people I have come across and all deserve five star reviews themselves for the way that they go out of their way to provide a great atmosphere and service. Great shop!

Warm place (important for those wintry days when other cafes have no heating) to enjoy coffee and do some work. Spacious with good quality coffee. Friendly staff. Cons: No sockets to charge laptop/phone (that's why I give 4 stars)

TOP TIP: yum. The gluten free chocolate brownie is to die for. Even if you eat gluten. Yeh yeh yeh, everyone will discuss coffee or possibly queue times but for me the ultimate reason I always stop at Costa is for the delicious brownies. Big yes.

It's a Costa: It serves coffee and other stuff. The staff are really pleasant and the coffee is nice. So, can't fault it really.

I've given it a five because staff are excellent especially the manager but wifi is rubbish

Services was good from the staff, but the Wifi was terrible. Did not connect and the reception for my mobile was poor. Not a good location for meetings if you need somewhere local for emergency.

Enjoyed the primo hot chocolate which to my surprise was not over sweet for a change so very enjoyable and warming on a windy, chilly day. Toilet was fine. Only gripe is armchair was so low at the table, bit odd. It was nice even at 1pm the cafe wasn't overcrowded so felt spacious. I have to say this visit was the best part of my day, all went downhill after that!

There isnt much to say about Costa - They are consistent with the coffee they make across most branches. This one is my local one near work and its actually a great little place to hide away for a bit to get some quiet time. I've sometimes found myself in here with my laptop to try and get out the office. The staff are really friendly and they sort of now recognise me and now what i will be ordering.
