Very spacious space which is handy for those with mobility problems. The food was nice and there's an extensive range of drinks to choose from. The only down side was being ignored, while others were getting served ahead of me. That was rectified quickly when I asked where the manager was

Mark and Ricky and Mahad make me feels safe when I enter the pub they are so welcoming and always cheak if I’m alright, the customers service is better than anywhere I’ve been and they go above and beyond it feels like it’s there number one priority I can’t say thanks enough!!

This Spoons is a bit of a strange one. Spoons is notorious for not having an atmosphere. This one actually does have one! It comes at a cost. It is always a challenge to get a table, because it is pretty small/ super popular. Despite being super packed, service is fast. My guys in the kitchen don't know how to microwave the chicken though. Wowzers the chicken was over cooked. I was eating charcoal. This spoons doesn't check if the food is okay, where most do.

It got super crowded around 6pm and going forward conversations were almost impossible due to the loud background noise. Staff is super friendly and professional though. Food is always great in any Wetherspoons.

It was super nice at the beginning, however around 6pm it became overcrowded and sooo noisy, that we couldn't understand each other. Staff is super nice though and manage the crowd very vell. Food is amazing as always.

A typical Weatherspoons nothing too "flash". Food and drink 1st class, I ordered on the app. It was a bit noisy though, people having to talk loudly to the person immediately next to them. Sign of the times, I suppose!

Please Please Fix your app! I had 2 seperate orders of £30 each both not go through BUT the money was taken both times from my account. The reason for the 1 star is how badly the manager dealt with this. They didn’t care at all. No apology, no offer of a gesture of goodwill. Just told me “ it will come back into your account in 3-5 days theres nothing we can do” Imagine that was my last money and i was trying to feed myself…

Food arrived quiet quickly at the table I found that my food Korea chicken with chips had human hair in it also the female who dealt with the issue was really good and sorted it out just not happy about having hair in my food just make sure you check your plate or bowl is completely clean before eating your food as the hair was inside the bowl

We went because i had a giftcard ..my mate is usually a wine bar girl but she was willing.. we had been in another pub first by accident which was sooo busy and loud we coukdnt hear each other so this was a welcome relief! It looked super busy from outside but when we got in we found a table and while it was busy it was fine for us and service was quick.. bless him the poor staff member who served me had to deal with this giftcard which then didnt work but he was very patient and nice about it .. i was embarrassed so walked away without my drink! Food was good though seemed a bit cold though that may have been me faffing around.. i had the veg curry which was fab and id thought was a smaller portion but with the naan and poppadoms there was plenty and so tasty.. loved the beer (twickenham autumn red) and my mate was happy to stay for seconds

We stopped here for a quick lunch. Food was good, service was also, we particularly like the location. Right near Clapham junction train station. Was nice and quiet also which was a bonus

We popped into The London & South Western for something to eat, and we had fish & chips, this turned out to be the best we've had for a long time. Well done Wetherspoon for good value and quick service.

Conveniently located close to the train station. I had a great value for money Ruddles and a packet of crisps for less than £3. Good atmosphere and interesting information on the walls regarding the local history. Would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere was better than any stratosphere I've ever experienced. The manager seemed to be OK. Lovely in fact.

Found meat in my food when I ordered a vegetarian meal. Staff were lovely and understanding about this. However it took half an hour for a replacement to be brought out, which was cold and also incorrect. Luckily not a huge issue but if someone had an allergy etc being given the wrong food could be a problem

A good selection of beer, and excellent cod and chips. A Wetherspoons pub which, in my mind, means a varied selection of quality ales/ciders at a price unbeaten by any other company.

Silly cheap drinks and food, and that attracts a real mixed crowd, Saturday night, bouncers had to intervene 4 times within an hour I spent there. Great crew, but still, not a place I will visit on weekend again.

Extremely Bad food, rude and unprofessional staff at this Bar and Restaurant my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at [The London and South Western]. The quality of the food was abysmal; the pizza was half-cooked and not sliced, while the chicken had an unpleasant odor. Equally concerning was the conduct of the staff, particularly the manager, who completely ignored our party for over an hour. Despite our payment, we were refused service, which I find utterly unprofessional. Additionally, we were overcharged for a meal that did not meet even the most basic standards. I urge potential patrons to consider this warning and avoid this restaurant to prevent a similar experience. Hope this helps others not getting trapped by this messy restaurant

All the positive benefits of Wetherspoon pubs, but some of the customers cannot have a drink without talking very loudly, and with an appalling use of language. Plus some moving the tables & chairs to sit a group of ten. It makes it difficult for the staff to control the environment for young families, and people wanting to read with a quiet pint. While CJ is not exactly Belgravia, the loud & unruly crowd should be turfed out PDQ if they ignore a polite warning. But, of course that can be a problem for the staff.

A morning visit meeting a friend. Good location, prices and the traditional breakfast I had was serviceable and filled me up with a few cups of tea (free refills) to wash it down. Would visit again.

Tend to pop in here for a morning coffee if early for getting the train from Clapham Junction and to have some time to chill, so usually in pre-9am. The London & South Western being a Wetherspoons, the food and drink is pretty much the same as any other. But the staff and general cleanliness of the pub is always top notch and worth the 5* review rating.

The food was excellent but found the mixed drinks in the pitchers we're quite weak had more Mango then alcohol

I often visit Wetherspoon in Clapham Junction on Saturday mornings. The atmosphere is decent, with a few early drinkers, but they aren’t disruptive. The quality of the food is good, especially for the price you pay. The Eggs Benedict, in particular, are very good and a great deal at just £6. The service is polite and efficient, which I appreciate. While the venue could be a bit cleaner, it’s still comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. I’ve also tried the pizzas, which are quite good as well.

I came here with my two young boys for dinner and was very busy but the manager went out his way to get us a table the staff were very polite would definitely recommend.

Often quite busy spoons with 'outer London' pricing, handily placed a stones throw from Clapham Junction station so under 10mins from Waterloo or Victoria. Guest ales were all Sambrook on my last visit, a little annoying but unusual. Table service fast and efficient, staff friendly and efficient.

How can you not love these pubs, always top class value for money food, and the staff are friendly helpful and often go out of their way to make you feel special. The air conditioning is powerful, great way to cool off in the heat 😎 👌

Ideal if your younger i met my 81 year old uncke here who waa visiting from oz. Couldnt hear ourselves think. Full of hens and 20 somethings getting thier cheap drinks in. Food ok took a while to come was cold. Too noisy but cheap for a weatherspoons now aspragus has gone

Nice pub to have a pint and staff are very friendly.

The pub is nice and has been decorated with light colours inside and regardless of what time we’ve been in there it’s always had a nice atmosphere. There’s windows along one side of the pub which helps make it look bright as some other spoons I’ve been in feel quite dark. Service from the bar or ordering from the app has always been quick Wetherspoons food is Wetherspoons food. You know what you’re getting. For the price my portions have always been good and I’ve enjoyed the food. The pub has a screen with the train departures and platform numbers which is a nice touch

An updated review of another Wetherspoons I have been to before. A reasonable sized branch a very short walk from Clapham Junction Railway Station. Now the only Wetherspoons in the area, since the once nearby 'The Asparagus' in Battersea was closed. The pub was fairly busy when I arrived, managed to find a table OK and ordered through app with no issues. A reasonable selection of beer was on. For which I ordered a pint of Twickenham Orange Zeus 4.8%, beer to go with my meal of a Gourmet BBQ Beef Burger. Total cost = £12.17. Beer arrived in good time, a few minutes after ordering and was in good condition. Food arrived in around eight minutes and looked well prepared and cooked. No issues with taste or quality. A handy, convenient and fairly cheapish stopping point if you are passing through on the train. Or if you live locally. My only gripe in general is Spoons is a bit thin on the ground in this area. I strongly feel a branch is needed in nearby Wandsworth (which once had two Wetherspoons pubs), plus also Clapham High St, which is a fair distance from Clapham Junction. Apart from that, not a bad place to stop off at. It has certainly improved since it first opened a couple of years ago, when beer and service quality was appalling.

It's cheap and cheerful, which is what you expect.

I went in for breakfast 26/jun and another patron gratuitously tried to bash me in. Amazing! In my whole life, I have had 2 instances of gratuitous aggro in a pub, and they have both been in Wetherspoons! The other time, BTW, was in Boscombe in 2008, shortly before Wetherspons closed that site and discontinued the lease, because it was too heavy with thugs and violence.

Waited over an hour for our food. Spoke to the manager and no apology at all. I explained that everyone else around us had been served and we were still waiting. The manager has a lot to answer for here as it is not the first time they get it wrong. Usually it is the wrong food brought to the table or things missing from your meal. A new manager who is more customer focused is needed to turn it around

Ordered food at 11.30 still waiting at 1220 rubbish service will not be coming to this weather spoons again son complained to the manager he just walked away no apology from him only one of the bar ladies

A busy and lively place the only downside was the two or three security staff constantly walking around inside staring at everyone as though you were guilty of having done something!

This is a big Witherspoon's, but even though it is big the service is fantastic! Probably one of the best out there too. Great prices on all of their drinks and the food was really good too 🤘

An old man who had ordered breakfast there was bullied by staff for watching a video of his grandson on his mobile phone. They said he was making too much noise, in a pub really?

I went for a breakfast early on Saturday morning as I am a pensioner and don't get out so often. After ordering and about to start my breakfast I opened a 20 second video of my Grandson winning a school race and was then rudely propositioned by a waiter that I was disturbing the clientel to which the bar was 90% empty. I left in disgust not even having started my breakfast. This waiter really does need to learn how to speak to customers in a civil manner. He made me feel like a criminal and I for one will never set foot in the door again.

As a pensioner I visited for a breakfast and coffee early on Saturday morning. The dining area was about 90% empty and I sat down alone. When my breakfast arrived I was about to tuck in when I got a whats app message with a 20 second video of my grandson winning a race. I am immediately set upon by a member of staff warning me in a threatening manner that I am disturbing other customers in an almost empty pub. Made to feel like a criminal I upped and left. The likes of this member of staff really need customer relations management training as I understood where he was coming from but his manner was disgusting. I for one will never set foot in this place again. In fact a small cafe 20 yards further up will get my custom in the future.

Good Points. Cheap, Central Location, close to transport, app that allows to order drinks from the table. Bad Points loud, busy, lack of seating. Its a Weatherspoons pile it high and sell it cheap, go there with that in mind and you won't be disappointed.

Good pub! Great food & service. Busy today, probably due to being near lunchtime. My wife & I were looking at one of the local historic areial photos on the wall which included our house. Once again quick service via the app.

Would give it 4 stars if you wasn't harassed by junkies all of the time.

Scott and Dan are fantastic. I bought some drinks and I got a tray to take the drinks to my table. The drinks fell. However Scott and Dan got me some free drinks on the house. These guys are awesome. This will now be my go to Wetherspoon.

I’d like to leave a review and say a massive thank you to the lad with the top knot as he was amazing with our group! He really went above and beyond for us which showed that he cared about making our experience the best it can be. My friends and I have been to a number of Wetherspoon pubs where staff don’t care and are just rude however this one was a completely different experience. I highly recommend this Wetherspoons pub and can’t wait to go back.

Nice place friendly good prices

Our last hours in London - Driving Bol to the hotel, we were intrigued by the appearance of the bar/restaurant (we still had about 20 minutes by car) we decided to give up Bol (although it was paid) and eat a London "fish & chips" dinner We were very pleasantly surprised, IT WAS DELICIOUS, large portion, atmospheric, typical English bar, It was worth taking the risk for this dinner and stopping by ❤️ it was our best taste experience in London ❤️

My food never arrived I ordered food, I waited for over 30 minutes, I asked about my order, I was ignored, after another 10 minutes, I asked for a refund, but the amount was not refunded in full, childish staff, do not take people seriously!

Staff are excellent, drinks are nice with reasonable prices. The food is also nice, the atmosphere is flat though.

First time dining in this venue, and thought I'd see what the fuss is all about. We popped in during lunch time. We opted for a children's jacket potato option meal and a small steak 🥩 option for my daughter. Unfortunately hers was quite dry and chewy and my son's jacket potato was a-bit bland, hardly any salt or butter to make it more tasty. We also ordered a steak 🥩 each but mine came out wrong. They forgot my salad and brought me chips and then took my plate back to bring it out with salad. I was really hungry so I just digged in because well I was not in the mood to complain really. Anyway my steak was also very chewy and bland and I just couldn't be bothered to complain after all the time we had waited for the food to arrive since they were busy and it was a weekend. They had put one cold mushroom on the side and one hard tomato as part of the dish which was not very tasty nor fresh. I'm glad at least my partners steak came out right. I wouldn't be rushing back there anytime soon to be fair but I think attention to detail is important as well as the taste for the price. Even if it's a pub there should still be a standard set for each and every customer! Maybe I would grab a drink next time I pass by since they have some good offers on those but I wouldn't dine there again.

Usually I have no problems with the food at Weatherspoons but yesterday the food was diabolical. Onion rings burnt, missing onion rings on an order as well as sauce missing which they did rectify in the end but, yesterday was sub-par. Drinks were nice.

Great atmosphere, Freiburg football followers were there, great food and beer, red wine went down well. Man behind counter asked if we would like to sample the beer. All working all clean, helpful organised staff.

The food ordered was correct. The fish was awful and the batter was fried too many times, in my opinion. When I complained, I was told it was hit and miss. If I wanted the batter to be well cooked I dhoukd have requested. My answer was, if any more cooked, it was have broken my teeth. No refund was offered and I was left disappointed. Extremely poor and bad management.

Always have a lovely evening here at South Strand. It's absolutely lovely, no matter how busy it is the staff always accommodate us along with everyone else. They treat everyone with the same level of service and respect, we cannot fault it! For example tonight Ege was on hand and really looked after us as always. We are regulars but we haven't been in a while. Her friendly approach and service is absolutely the reason we always float back down to the South Strand. Also to mention Viv, Glen and all the staff, everyone here do an amazing job xx
