Fab pub around the corner from our hotel we were holed up in for the weekend work we were doing! Booked a table of 12 with no issues for a late Sunday lunch and we were all blown away how good the food was & how reasonable too! Most had the Trio of Roast and lots of desserts and soft drinks too. Couldn’t fault anything, even the mix up with the Pea & Ham soup (lol). All in all, great atmosphere in the pub, super friendly waiting staff, and a very reasonable priced Sunday dinner. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back again soon 🙏🏻

Lovely service from one of the waiting team, super friendly and very welcoming! I had the quiche and the pie which was 10/10, my boyfriend had the scallops and the bourgignon which he loved! Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Went to the Ship to meet a friend last friday, had really lovely young server and she made us feel very welcome. She recommended the fish and chips which were delicious and generous portion, and she also recommended the house wine which was delightful! Will be going back😉😻🙈🦋⛵️

We just went around with my friend and saw this pub . We had just a couple of beers, not food. The atmosphere was amazing, and the taste of music was absolutely great We will definitely come back.

Ok so they didn't have what I ordered but went above and beyond to make it right. Really nice place. The staff were great. The location is really nice and you can see that the place is well run and looked after. Great selection of beers.

I hired this venue for a 50th Birthday party. The venue is great, the staff are excellent and the atmosphere they have got absolutely spot on. I would hire this place again. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air. Flexble, friendly and really good fun. Well done to The Ship

We had a fantastic Sunday roast, and the scotch egg was delicious—the kitchen was really on point! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere had a relaxed, chilled vibe. However, we had some issues with the restaurant's app, so took a while to get attention from staff and order food/drinks. It also took a while for drinks to arrive, as the floor staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.

This is a bit of a local beer 🍺 and food spot for me seeing as I’m around the corner, can I just say this place never fails to uphold an incredible standard, beautiful people, friendly staff and beer on tap all night long. Added to that the amazing atmosphere and river front location this is definitely a destination spot for the young, trendy and fun loving. Expect good vibes reasonable prices for the area and lots of fun!

Something for every age group ... we sat outside with a DJ ... some delicious beers on tap ... it was a great evening .. service very polite and courteous ☆☆☆☆☆

Went here on a Saturday night and had a great night! The place was lively with a big outside area. Plenty of staff so didn't have to wait long to be served. The DJ was great and got everyone dancing, creating a great atmosphere 👌

Good 2 x fish and chips was disappointing. Fish had way too much batter and mushy peas were super dry. After lunch we went to sit in the old style bar and were told we would have to order our drinks the other side. There seemed plenty of staff so odd, but we did . Overall not as good as it has been.

I recently visited The Ship in Wandsworth after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint! I came all the way from New York with a couple of friends, and this spot was a highlight of our trip. The atmosphere was super cool, and we immediately felt at home. We grabbed some beers and tried their burgers, which were absolutely delicious—definitely lived up to the hype. But the best part of the night? We were invited to dance salsa at Latin Groove! It was an unexpected and fantastic surprise. The music was lively, and the energy on the dance floor was contagious. We had such a blast dancing the night away. If you're looking for a fun night out with great food, drinks, and an amazing vibe, The Ship and Latin Groove are the places to be. Highly recommend it!

Burger was nice, service friendly, atmosphere is relaxed and obviously location is top notch. But £7.50 for a shandy, seriously? That’s taking the Mickey so downgrading this to a four star. Been coming there for years and it’s probably gone a bit OTT.

After walking down from Battersea Power my friend and I stopped here for a celebratory 60th birthday lunch. Outstanding service, great wine menu and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Me and my mates are from Australia just moved locally to Wandsworth heard a lot about the ship decided to go for the first time what a welcome!! Great music and lovely staff later a small kick off started which could have Erupted security got straight in and kicked the trouble makers, all in all lovely night and a fab atmosphere would definitely come back and do recommend

Came here for lunch with some friends. The food is decently priced and the ambience is great. Staff are really lovely too. It’s a shame the food was very meh. I had the Yorkie pork wrap and it was quite bland. The gravy that it came with was watery and also lacked flavour. I’d suggest go for drinks here rather than food.

Staying in Clapham London and wanted to find a pub on the river. Looked up the nearest pub which was the ship. On a bright sunny Friday evening there was a great atmosphere and good beer. Can recommend.

Tonight, I had the pleasure of celebrating my friend's birthday at The Ship, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was vibrant, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food and drinks were top-notch. But the highlight of the night was for sure the bachata and salsa class with Latingroove.. The instructors from Latingroove were amazing – they were energetic, patient, and made the class so much fun. The music was lively and the energy in the room was electric, with everyone laughing, dancing, and having a great time. If you're looking for a fun and engaging activity to elevate your evening, I highly recommend checking out The Ship and joining a dance class with Latingroove. It was an unforgettable experience!!!

Was there for Euros twice. First time was better with table service, I found myself leaving tips because at least I was getting drinks. The second time, well, really slow bar service (there was one girl who was friendly and at least smiled and we could see she was busy but trying), or other bartenders looked right past me or the people who had been waiting at the front alongside me to serve people much further behind, moving so painfully slow, it took 45 minutes to just ASK for 2 coronas and they'd run out by then. Got 2 pints and then left.

I came to The Ship for the euros final! It was very busy and the atmosphere was great! The staff were super friendly and the beer was fab! I had food from the burger shack and considering how busy it was, it didn’t take long to arrive and it was delicious. Will be back soon, thank you :)

Don't go if you're looking for a chill vibe. Went here on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends as thought it would be a nice place to have a few drinks and enjoy the sunset. Was not expecting to walk into what seemed like an outdoor nightclub with music too loud to hold a conversation without shouting and expensive drinks being served in plastic cups.

Came for the Euro’s final and still can’t get over the atmosphere! An amazing pub with amazing team and really good food. Thanks for hosting me and me friends, we will definitely be back soon!

Basically the new Prince, great venue with a lovely backdrop of the Thames. Good luck getting a seat outside unless you WFH at The Ship from early afternoon.

Great setting and atmosphere, Burger was good but the Fish Pie disappointed. Menu said the pie had haddock and prawns, topped with a Langustine. The problem was not much solid fish, no prawns could be seen ( chef/waiter said they chopped the prawn very small, WHY) and it was topped with a large prawn not a Langustine. Sorry at £19 not good value

Atmosphere was decent but service absolutely shocking. Came for the euros final and waited over an hour for a drink. Who decided that 3 bar staff was enough on the busiest day of the year? No urgency from them either. Real shame as you've had the whole tournament to prepare. 14 quid for a vodka coke is also a bit of a rip off. You can buy an actual bottle of vodka for that...

Had potatoe pie with a bit of fish even though it was called Fish Pie. Service haphazard, different staff. S&P not clean, asked for replacements, waited..... got others ourselves. Wrong cutlery. Overall too expensive for what we had. Cheapest wine £30 +'12.5% added to a table of 3.

Went on England vs Spain euros final l. So was expecting it to be busy! Lots of TV’s and good atmosphere. But the service at the bar was shocking. Wait at the bar was over an hour missed the first half of the game just waiting for 1 drink. Not enough staff and the 2 staff that were working were rude and moving like they had just smoked a joint. No rush at all.

Went there on a Friday we had to relocate to quieter area as Friday nights are extremely loud... Ie can't have conversation loud. But perhaps eating on Friday night isn't what it's about

I went there on Sunday for a friend's birthday. Great atmosphere; we didn't eat, but I saw some of the food coming out and will definitely be coming back; it looked amazing! Lawrence, I believe being the manager was a great help, as I'd lost my jacket, which he managed to find for me!

I met friends at The Ship for lunch - and what a delightful experience. The five of us all spent ages dithering over which table we preferred but this was absolutely no issue - it just became an amusement with laughs all round from the staff! Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was very helpful and attentive (with particular mention to Rowan and Nicky). The food was delicious, fast to arrive and beautifully presented. I cannot think of a better pub in the area and this will be my first choice when I am back in Wandsworth again. Thank you to the staff at The Ship for making it such an enjoyable get together.

Good atmosphere, busy for England Mens Euros match, however a REAL pain that the male security guard had to stand on the top step of the stairs all evening, blocking the football screen for half of the crowd by the bar… Wondering if they could stand in the other corner, or two steps down by the entrance, still able to observe the crowd & sort tables, and not obstruct the view. Shame really, when you come to watch the game, but can’t see the LARGE screen. Food for thought…?

Obviously a very popular pub.. no doubt in that. To the person whos idea it was of booking a table on match day. Very very bad idea. And needs to be in a different business.. probably someone very bad controlling issues maybe Constant groups of people standing up everywhere around 5pm because absolutely every table booked for around 7pm -8pm. People leaving and moaning. Should be first come first serve. Not book a table at 8pm and turn up at 7.55pm. People who arrive early should be able to be seated drink and spend money. Not be left standing. Pathetic rule.

the food was very good - get the haddock it was lovely just be sure to have a card as it was difficult to pay with cash - i will definitely return next time i'm in the area could probably do with more staff but worth a visit 100 %

Wow, how to lose a customer, 0 out of 5 for the Ship! A very childish chef refused to make me and my daughter another burger after burning them to smithereens. A lovely day ruined and very poor customer service all round, be better.

Rowan was the best server, so attentive and welcoming, really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come and visit again, Rowan made my evening !!

We arrived just after lunch, I think the vibe was pretty local, we enjoyed it. But when time went by, the crowd became very trashy, not sure I’d go again if it’s this trashy

16 of us accommodated here last night, with various drinks and meals. Food was good, all plates were cleared, and service was excellent.

They got the location right. The staff is unorganised, and needs training. Food was dry. Wouldn’t call it a gastropub at all. Not sure how they can justify those prices for that type of experience.

A popular pub with amazing outdoor space. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this pub as I enjoy it a lot on some days, and cannot stand it on other. Had food once and it was not great (could have been a one off). The space itself is lovely and large, but it gets too busy on sundays with the worst crowd in london. During the week it is less busy and lovely, and they host amazing salsa classes on Tuesdays too!

I think one of the worst food experience I had in here since 5 years I live locally. Worst customer service with no one caring to take food orders or bringing napkins with the food. Food terrible, greasy and iper fatty and not really tasting. I am sending a pic of my curly fries with ox cheek. Greasy, soggy and with so many condiments you couldn’t even taste the chip. Horrible experience today… I wonder if now became too full and not care anymore. Such a shame!
