The Ship has everything you would want- great pub, great food and great staff with a beautiful view over the river. This became our local pub when staying in Battersea. It was always so popular which really added to the buzzy atmosphere. Nicky, Kerry and Annie were particularly welcoming and we befriended them during our stay. They were happy to have our two small dogs sit with us in the restaurant, which made it the perfect place for dinner. The chef’s Sunday Chicken roast was a big hit, this is not just pub grub- these guys know what they’re doing! We will be back hopefully next year :) Best pub in London!

We had a party of 4 for Christmas lunch and we would all highly recommend the Ship. The cockney lady at front of house is amazing - such a caring, lovely welcoming person, she’s a credit to the pub. Very generous servings and the food was lovely. One of the party had duck which we preferred a bit less rare and they took it back & made a new one, no fuss, no problem - great service. It had a lovely log burner going when you enter too which was so nice.

Fantastic Christmas Day lunch! Staff were so friendly and really looked after us, including my 4 month old son. We received a handwritten Christmas card at the table which was a really nice touch. Food was great. I had the duck and preferred it more well cooked, staff took it back with no fuss and the kitchen cooked me a brand new meal. Highly recommend this pub!

The Ship is always a good place to be; there is always a great atmosphere. The food is good and there's plenty of space indoors and outdoors.

Had a great beef burger with fries, lovely pub atmosphere by the river accompanied by a great pint of winter warmer !

Even when The Ship is busy, you never feel neglected. The super friendly staff work really hard to look after you. Thank you Bella, who was amazingly energetic, and made our last visit a fun experience. There is a great selection of tasty food, so you are covered, no matter what you fancy. All the candles (which must take ages to light) and twinkly lights make for a cosy, warm glow atmosphere. Kerry and all her team are incredibly welcoming and make this a fun place to eat and drink, whether you are in a big group of friends or just having a quiet dinner for two. So chuffed to have this as my local!

Smashing riverside pub, very large outdoor area, and decent food. Sunday roast and burger shack are good. Worth a visit, but does cater to a younger crowd so be aware.

Service was excellent for pre-lunch food and for a formal sit down lunch. I cannot fault the food, staff or location. We did not take advantage of sitting by the river as it was a cold December day of -2c and it got colder the darker it got. I was surprised at the price of beer and wine but I guess that's the going rate for pints of beer and glasses of wine. I will return.

This is a local pub to me that used to be fantastic for food. Not any more. I just paid £20 for a so-called fish stew. What turned up was a large saucer full of salty white liquid with a few pieces of fish and seafood thrown in and - wait for it .- croutons! Seriously. Don’t you have croutons with soup and potatoes with stew?? Needless to say, no bread accompaniment. What has happened to The Ship? It used to be so good. Not any more. Serious p**s take!

We had a very tasty lunch and were looked after by very helpful staff. Thank you all very much. We’ll be back again for lunch with two other friends before Christmas.

Bella and Jazz were great. We were a group of 12 with no reserved table but these two went above and beyond to still give amazing service and kept our group smiling.

Lovely Sunday roast, beautiful atmosphere

I had such a fantastic experience at the Ship this Sunday, great atmosphere, great staff and a fantastic roast. 10/10 chicken, cooked to perfection. Will be back again, what a pub!!

The food was good the service was alright and the atmosphere was ok but the only thing is that its too limited for kids with them not allowed in the outdoor area

Went there on a rugby night, the place was very noisy and it was difficult to hear the people at the same table. Went there before, on a mid week day the ambience would have been good. Fish and chips was good but the desserts definitely not worth the money (panna cotta was more like a kids portion and the sticky toffee pudding didn’t taste much)

A bustling, riverside, character, pub and restaurant which obviously gets repeated custom !!! It was a big rugby day, and most tables were booked - highly recommended - post 4.30pm, but fortunately, I visited enough time before this to enjoy a meal and a few drinks. Service, via the Youngs app, was very quick, although the app didn't show wines by the glass easily, and if you make a mistake, you have to empty the whole basket - APP BEWARE !!! The food was high quality and very nice, drinks too. My only complaint was that - and as it's getting colder - there was an awful draught every time the door opened because the door heater was broken. Hopefully, it will be fixed before I return for a winter burger !!!!

Delicious vegan roast and vegan dessert. Would highly recommend for a Sunday lunch.

Tuvimos un día tranquilo. Había 3 mesas en la zona de restaurantes. El servicio era lento. Supongo que no estoy acostumbrado a los precios de Londres. Era caro por encima de la comida media del pub. Lo más destacado fueron los grandes tater tots y el pegajoso pudín de toffee. Yo volveré. La señora australiana que nos atendió fue muy amable y dulce.

Such a lovely place for a Sunday roast

Gran experiencia y comida arruinada al final por mensajes contradictorios. Después de una gran comida con postres decidimos pedir algunas bebidas adicionales, a saber, un Baileys Hot chocolate y un Baileys Coffee, luego recibimos un Baileys regular con hielo y un Jameson Whisky con hielo. Le dijimos al barman que no los pedimos y nos dijeron que no te preocupes, solo se desperdiciarán, ya que hubo un error. Otra camarera nos dijo lo mismo de nuevo que no nos cobrarían por las bebidas incorrectas. Luego recibimos nuestras bebidas correctas. Al recibir la factura de nuestra camarera principal notamos su incomodidad al presentar la factura que sí incluía las bebidas por las que nos dijeron que no nos iban a cobrar. Ya habíamos decidido pagar por ellos de todos modos, pero nos sentimos decepcionados por que nos dijeron dos veces que era su error, ¿no te preocupes por ello? Solo podemos adivinar que alguien más decidió agregarlo a la factura ya que no aceptaría la pérdida causada por un miembro del personal. Un serio conflicto de declaraciones que dejó un sabor amargo a una experiencia de cena dominical por lo demás genial.

Burgers a tad expensive considering they don't come with anything but the beer is good. Loved sitting outside by the river.

Fab pub around the corner from our hotel we were holed up in for the weekend work we were doing! Booked a table of 12 with no issues for a late Sunday lunch and we were all blown away how good the food was & how reasonable too! Most had the Trio of Roast and lots of desserts and soft drinks too. Couldn’t fault anything, even the mix up with the Pea & Ham soup (lol). All in all, great atmosphere in the pub, super friendly waiting staff, and a very reasonable priced Sunday dinner. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back again soon 🙏🏻

Lovely service from one of the waiting team, super friendly and very welcoming! I had the quiche and the pie which was 10/10, my boyfriend had the scallops and the bourgignon which he loved! Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Went to the Ship to meet a friend last friday, had really lovely young server and she made us feel very welcome. She recommended the fish and chips which were delicious and generous portion, and she also recommended the house wine which was delightful! Will be going back😉😻🙈🦋⛵️

We had a fantastic Sunday roast, and the scotch egg was delicious—the kitchen was really on point! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere had a relaxed, chilled vibe. However, we had some issues with the restaurant's app, so took a while to get attention from staff and order food/drinks. It also took a while for drinks to arrive, as the floor staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.

I hired this venue for a 50th Birthday party. The venue is great, the staff are excellent and the atmosphere they have got absolutely spot on. I would hire this place again. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air. Flexble, friendly and really good fun. Well done to The Ship

This is a bit of a local beer 🍺 and food spot for me seeing as I’m around the corner, can I just say this place never fails to uphold an incredible standard, beautiful people, friendly staff and beer on tap all night long. Added to that the amazing atmosphere and river front location this is definitely a destination spot for the young, trendy and fun loving. Expect good vibes reasonable prices for the area and lots of fun!

Went here on a Saturday night and had a great night! The place was lively with a big outside area. Plenty of staff so didn't have to wait long to be served. The DJ was great and got everyone dancing, creating a great atmosphere 👌

Good 2 x fish and chips was disappointing. Fish had way too much batter and mushy peas were super dry. After lunch we went to sit in the old style bar and were told we would have to order our drinks the other side. There seemed plenty of staff so odd, but we did . Overall not as good as it has been.

I recently visited The Ship in Wandsworth after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint! I came all the way from New York with a couple of friends, and this spot was a highlight of our trip. The atmosphere was super cool, and we immediately felt at home. We grabbed some beers and tried their burgers, which were absolutely delicious—definitely lived up to the hype. But the best part of the night? We were invited to dance salsa at Latin Groove! It was an unexpected and fantastic surprise. The music was lively, and the energy on the dance floor was contagious. We had such a blast dancing the night away. If you're looking for a fun night out with great food, drinks, and an amazing vibe, The Ship and Latin Groove are the places to be. Highly recommend it!

Burger was nice, service friendly, atmosphere is relaxed and obviously location is top notch. But £7.50 for a shandy, seriously? That’s taking the Mickey so downgrading this to a four star. Been coming there for years and it’s probably gone a bit OTT.

After walking down from Battersea Power my friend and I stopped here for a celebratory 60th birthday lunch. Outstanding service, great wine menu and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Me and my mates are from Australia just moved locally to Wandsworth heard a lot about the ship decided to go for the first time what a welcome!! Great music and lovely staff later a small kick off started which could have Erupted security got straight in and kicked the trouble makers, all in all lovely night and a fab atmosphere would definitely come back and do recommend

Came here for lunch with some friends. The food is decently priced and the ambience is great. Staff are really lovely too. It’s a shame the food was very meh. I had the Yorkie pork wrap and it was quite bland. The gravy that it came with was watery and also lacked flavour. I’d suggest go for drinks here rather than food.

Been going to the ship for a few years now decided to go again yesterday with a few of my girls had a lovely time and noticed that the twins were back everything back to how it should have been l love the hugs they give really make us all feel welcome

Staying in Clapham London and wanted to find a pub on the river. Looked up the nearest pub which was the ship. On a bright sunny Friday evening there was a great atmosphere and good beer. Can recommend.

Tonight, I had the pleasure of celebrating my friend's birthday at The Ship, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was vibrant, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food and drinks were top-notch. But the highlight of the night was for sure the bachata and salsa class with Latingroove.. The instructors from Latingroove were amazing – they were energetic, patient, and made the class so much fun. The music was lively and the energy in the room was electric, with everyone laughing, dancing, and having a great time. If you're looking for a fun and engaging activity to elevate your evening, I highly recommend checking out The Ship and joining a dance class with Latingroove. It was an unforgettable experience!!!

Was there for Euros twice. First time was better with table service, I found myself leaving tips because at least I was getting drinks. The second time, well, really slow bar service (there was one girl who was friendly and at least smiled and we could see she was busy but trying), or other bartenders looked right past me or the people who had been waiting at the front alongside me to serve people much further behind, moving so painfully slow, it took 45 minutes to just ASK for 2 coronas and they'd run out by then. Got 2 pints and then left.

I came to The Ship for the euros final! It was very busy and the atmosphere was great! The staff were super friendly and the beer was fab! I had food from the burger shack and considering how busy it was, it didn’t take long to arrive and it was delicious. Will be back soon, thank you :)

Don't go if you're looking for a chill vibe. Went here on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends as thought it would be a nice place to have a few drinks and enjoy the sunset. Was not expecting to walk into what seemed like an outdoor nightclub with music too loud to hold a conversation without shouting and expensive drinks being served in plastic cups.

Came for the Euro’s final and still can’t get over the atmosphere! An amazing pub with amazing team and really good food. Thanks for hosting me and me friends, we will definitely be back soon!

Great pub, the Thameside outdoor deck is the best going

Great setting and atmosphere, Burger was good but the Fish Pie disappointed. Menu said the pie had haddock and prawns, topped with a Langustine. The problem was not much solid fish, no prawns could be seen ( chef/waiter said they chopped the prawn very small, WHY) and it was topped with a large prawn not a Langustine. Sorry at £19 not good value

Basically the new Prince, great venue with a lovely backdrop of the Thames. Good luck getting a seat outside unless you WFH at The Ship from early afternoon.

I came to watch the Euros final last Sunday with my friends and we had the best time. The vibes were great and the staff were really helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a place to have drinks and food with mates, The Ship is where to go!

Atmosphere was decent but service absolutely shocking. Came for the euros final and waited over an hour for a drink. Who decided that 3 bar staff was enough on the busiest day of the year? No urgency from them either. Real shame as you've had the whole tournament to prepare. 14 quid for a vodka coke is also a bit of a rip off. You can buy an actual bottle of vodka for that...

Had potatoe pie with a bit of fish even though it was called Fish Pie. Service haphazard, different staff. S&P not clean, asked for replacements, waited..... got others ourselves. Wrong cutlery. Overall too expensive for what we had. Cheapest wine £30 +'12.5% added to a table of 3.
