Solo queríamos un desayuno ligero y nos alojamos cerca, así que nos sumergimos en esta pequeña tienda cerca de la estación de New Street. Hay varias opciones disponibles, así que fuimos por té y tostadas. Había unas cuantas mesas y asientos y aseos, así que nos sentamos en la ventana. la señora sirviendo era muy agradable y entregó nuestro brindis a la mesa. Era un pan con semillas precioso, con mermelada y mantequilla. Estaba ocupado principalmente con comida para llevar, estando cerca de la estación.

Lots of staff. Seats available. Served fairly quickly. Peach iced tea was not great, don’t think it should have a lemon in, and the teabag seemed to have split, really disappointed as I always make a special trip to Costa just for this iced tea!

Visited Saturday 22nd February Two ladies on counter worked well and the Asian lady was fabulous, great service, quick, good atmosphere. Ladies were running it like a tight ship, attentive to customers, and I really enjoyed my lunch too thank you :-)

Not a very cosy place. The exterior of the old nice building it's in looks ok from the street but the spartan decor inside doesn't match it at all. A not so big room on the street level is a bit better that the room in the basement that is plain ugly and bleak. Looks like a fallout shelter. The cheap materials used, the colors, the lightning makes it one of the worst Costas I have been to.

Called in today for lunch with my wife and young grandson. I have to say the staff were brilliant! So friendly, professional and helpful.😍

Used to be OK. Renovated in 2024. The Costa Club Card machine doesn't work. Card payment via app or card declined so used cash in the end. Staff not helpful. They need to fix problems here. Used to go every other month.

Service is very good, and employees are very pleasant and respectful.

Food & drinks at usual good standard. Unfortunately, staff would only give us takeaway cups/plates as the store was due to close within 30 minutes. We were told on ordering that the store would be closing in 20 minutes - I got the impression they didn't want us to be there. Had to wait a long time to be served as only 1 person was on the till and preparing food / drinks while another member of staff was tidying and cleaning. 15 minutes before store closing time, the staff came round to tell us it was closing in 5 minutes. This made us feel rushed and unwelcome.

Busy but welcome being in Chester Station I had 45 minutes to wait for train so had a Cappuchino which was good in flavour

Kelly is a legend and a half. Amazing customer service. Certainly worth a visit.

They make an excellent cortado with oat milk! Their egg mushroom Bap is delicious 😋

Absolute idiots for employees gave someone else's order and you can't even call the restaurant itself

I can't for the life of me understand why the staff were trying to chase people out by giving them takeout cups 2 hours before closing. I wanted a pot of tea and was refused it as they were "closing soon and we can only give takeout cups" so I just didn't get anything. And then they proceeded to let us sit in the place for 2 hours until they closed??? Your laziness to not wash dishes is just costing you money in using single use cups and turning away customers that want to make their own drinks is disgraceful

I do not know why the employees work like this. First, the lower place is closed an hour and a half before closing the store, knowing that there is no place to sit, and they take customers out of the air-conditioned store. It is closed. It does not cool. The employees are bad

My drink was nice but the service from store manager Kelly wasnt. She was very rude and unpleasant towards me. There were also many people waiting for their drink and instead of making the customers drinks they continued serving causing crowding. Wont be returning to this branch

Popped infor a coffe and a light bite between our train connection. The server was great, sorry didn't get his name. Seating downstairs as well, this was a little cold when we went in but this was first thing so probably why.

In the morning, I ordered a Loaded Chocolate & Hazelnut Cake to collect. When I got to the shop, I was told they didn’t have any Loaded Chocolate & Hazelnut Cake. I told them, that I would have a Lemon Muffin, instead. However, I was told that was not possible and I would need to contact Head Office to get a refund???? The funny thing is, later in the day, rather than cancelling my order, they completed it???? Not a good customer service experience. I would have given them one star, but in the past, they’ve been okay.

Nice quite basement seating area with free wifi. Selection of food was sufficient. Ordered through app but had to que again just to tell staff that I already ordered through app. As always hot drinks were great.

I love a Costa anyway. But I was taken with this branch. It's in a convenient position, on a corner right next to New Street Station. Yet, perhaps because of all the coffee spots within the station concourse, it seemed to me always quiet. I found it quick to be served there by the friendly staff, and a peaceful place to drink a coffee, gazing out through the big windows. So it became my go-to coffee shop in an area which teems with them. Worth stepping out of the station to (between or awaiting trains), for sweet relief from the bustle. A gem hiding in plain sight.

Today, I bought a “Chai Latte” but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it as much as before. The barista suggested me to add some coffee to my chai to make it more tasty but not only he didn’t mention that I have to pay an extra £0.40 for it, but also, it made my chai worse 😭 So, I give a 3 star review and make sure you let the costumers know that some addings are not FREE!!!!

A little bit late opening for a major city Costa. Coloured guy was rude as well at opening time, didn’t offer tray and was brusk. Order cost over £5 too. Not nice

What is it with the attitude of the Baristas in here? Two Asian males in particular,that seem to work the same shift, both with beards so I'm presuming they are Muslim. I get a less than friendly welcome from these people as if I have somehow inconvenienced them somehow. I wish they would find somewhere else to work because they are clearly not cut out for retail.

Even though it was extremely busy, the staff were very friendly and service was second to none.

Guy was rude, took the order and not listening to me telling him to use whole milk. After preparing he told whole milk is over.

A big 5 stars for both Chris and Hamza, always very inviting with a warm and friendly welcome from both. I would definitely recommend all to this Costa just outside the grand central and look out for these awesome guys!

Always enjoy the coffee here. Clean and well organised public areas, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had the millionaires shortbread, lovely!

We were asked to choose a seat and then our order was taken at the table - a trial scheme apparently. Coffee was bought to us and was lovely! Staff are kind and friendly and the coffee shop had a nice atmosphere.

Messy tables, upstairs toilet out of order. Baristas no masks at all, drinks we ordered were piping hot. I don’t usually mind, but seems like a long term problem of all costas. All drinks being overheated so badly.

Poor COVID awareness. Lots of used cups and plates left on the tables, had to clear a table myself and wipe down before I ordered.

Bit of a long wait for just a hot chocolate and the stairs are mega steep considering everyone will be carrying drinks down them

Best place to study hands down! Cosy lounge area, comfortable seating, sockets by most tables, free wifi... plus the COFFEE (still a side ting tho lol jk 😉). Beautiful ambience! Amazing environment! Hidden gem! Great Baristas!

We visited this Costa for breakfast and had a somewhat poor experience. The lady who served us was quite rude. She mumbled everything she said and we could't hear her and ended up asking her to repeat herself multiple times which she would do in the exact same way she had been saying it. food and drink were nice however they had no napkins which is essential in any coffee place.

Costas are an ok high St coffee break. Service is ok but annoying when you need to use their washroom facilities and have to ask for key pad numbers. Coffee is ok but it's like Macdonald's. The same in every town.

Popped in for a latte and a chicken and salad sandwich, great little place not busy considering how close it is to Grand Central Station, friendly and helpful staff worth a visit

I arrived at 10am on 23/11/2020. The lady on the cashier was extremely rude. Had no manners and was extremely aggressive. Absolutely no customer skills or qualities. The way she spoke to me was like I was a pieces of rubbish! There was no need, I said hello and she didn’t pass a comment, I order my drink and she mumbled something. When I asked her what she said she said aggressively “I wasn’t talking to you!” Worst customer service ever. She had one horrific miserable looking face as well!

I always love going into Costa, it's always so welcoming. The staff are always helpful and cheery. It was not too bad this morning, there was a short queue and quickly served. My daughter is a vegan and the staff were happy to prepare her order

I found the staffs not so interested in welcoming customers. They weren’t having a welcoming attitude.

Vettem egy kávét, nem azt kaptam amit kértem. A hely barátságos lett volna, de kényelmetlenül éreztem magam a személyzet olyan érzést keltett bennem, hogy miért vagyok itt egyáltalán. A helyben fogyasztás helyett inkább a távozás mellett döntöttem.

Esperienza assolutamente da ripetere quella della visita al Costa Coffee di Navigation Street a Birmingham. In un ambiente della massima pulizia, si è accolti da un personale gentile, disponibile e professionale, a cominciare da Joynul il manager, Cristina la vice , a finire con tutti i ragazzi che lavorano in un ambiente regolato da un'atmosfera quasi familiare tra loro e di grande sintonia. Silvia ed il suo delizioso Frostino preparato in maniera impeccabile, è stata gentile e davvero unica. L'ambiente è davvero accogliente, con angoli riservati al piano sottostante, salottini e zone confortevoli per trascorrere in maniera tranquilla momenti di relax per spezzare la frenetica corsa quotidiana. La varietà nella vetrina dei dolci è unica e lo stesso dicasi per ciò che riguarda gli snack , panini o spuntini in genere nel banco frigo. In breve, consiglio vivamente di fare una puntatina al Costa Coffee di Navigation Street a tutti coloro si trovassero a Birmingham.

I've only been here twice, but it seems like a nice, well-kept coffee shop. There is plenty more seating downstairs, and it's probably a little comfier downstairs than up.
