Prices 10 to 20 % higher than other Costa s in the area. Staff feeding/watering dogs in store Generally not very clean Some staff more interested in their phones than customers Enjoyed the coffee

Nice place and staff where accommodating as we turned up as they where about to close still served us with a smile and waited for us to finish without interruptions. Just had drinks. Brilliant.

It's such a shame this Costa has so many negative reviews from a couple of years ago. It now serves excellent hot drinks and snacks. it's clean and welcoming and the baristas Leo and Andrew couldn't be more helpful and friendly. 5 stars from me.

Visited on 22nd June and used the app for my free birthday treat. The lovely girl that was serving made me feel really special, wished me happy birthday and asked what I was doing to celebrate, really lovely welcome and added to a lovely day. Great staff and service, really well done.

Stopped in (8.30am) on the way home from an early job, and the coffee was delicious.

Great atmosphere in here. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Clean and tidy. Definitely one of the best Costa’s there is.

Very good Costa with a good range of cakes too

A quick takeaway coffee and a use of their toilets (thanks for letting me). I'd never been on a Costa Coffee before, coming from NZ there's coffee places everywhere so chain coffee isn't required, but I was happy with the coffee and the service was happy and joyous.

The shop is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful,make a perfect cortado And Latte .

It's a ok place staff could be a bit better. The coffee from Costa is always a bit bitter which is why I don't go very often

Nice stop off on the way to and from our caravan in mid Wales staff are friendly and polite the Coffee isn't to bad either. 😁 Called in on the way to our caravan in Wales (season just started) staff still friendly, cheerful, cafe still clean and tidy so will be visiting on a regular basis to and from the caravan. See you soon. ☕ 27/5/23 same old same old stop off on way to our Caravan staff still as friendly as always drinks and food as we like it tables clean even though we had takeaway only one dislike due to the hot weather it brings the Flies out is there something that can be done to control them it doesn't look good when they are on all the surfaces not something that I want to see thankfully the food we purchased was already wrapped. Sunday 1st October 2023, on our way home from a weekend away fancied a Costa so on the way via Welshpool a bit later than expected Costa shop closed so we went to the Costa Express just outside Welshpool at Buttington as it was a good stop off earlier unfortunately two machines on site one not working and the other one not making Coffee still needing a drink had to resort to a McDonald's Coffee from nextdoor not a good move but still better luck next time.

Great cafe. Clean and cool with working Aircon, unlike some Costas (!) Staff were polite and coffee was the usual Costa standard. Toilets were clean

Love visiting Costa, the staff are always busy but friendly, and the service is spot on, variety of drinks to choose from, hot or cold, cakes, and hot food, and you can buy cups, flasks, and reusable cups too, 5 *

The Costa Team are so lovely Kelly is a fantastic manager and very customer friendly. They all make fab drinks, Taylor always makes an exceptional latte 😍❤️ thank you guys

Place wad untidy, tables not cleared, not enough staff to manage this.

Few visits made this week, drinks fabulous and customer service was great however disappointed that we couldn't have a frappe on a warm Sunday morning at 9.30

That was the best ever flat white we have both had from a Costa Coffee we had today at 11.45am the skill of the barista was 1st class credit to Welshpool Costa Coffee.

I always come here with my mum and dad on a Saturday morning. Always a lovely reception from the staff and the coffee ☕ is great xx

Shockingly rude woman serving, I walked out, she clearly didn’t want the custom. It was very interesting to read the other reviews, she definitely needs some training in customer relations.

Woman serving the coffee was extremely rude. Found it quite upsetting I was on a shopping trip in the rain and just popped in to cheer myself up. Only asked for a coffee with one shot but she was just very unpleasant. Please deal with this behaviour as it does not do your brand any favours

Yes it was a Costa, coffee was Costa. The staff were friendly and it appeared very clean. Everything was as it should be.

We stopped for a coffee and warm up knowing the Costa name is always reliable. Coffee was fine but pain au raisin wasn’t fresh - probably left over from day before. That’s the reason why I’ve only rated them average this time.

The coffee was really good and the staff were lovely. The tables and premises were clean, as were the toilets!

Have visited this venue on a number of occasions in the past. Coffees is always good and supported by a reasonable selection of freak cakes and pastries.

Working in the area and needed something quick for lunch. This Costa is quite large with plenty of seating, although being very close to the famous Hovis Hill I would expect this to fill up very quickly during tourist season.Opted for the toastie and coffee which was all quite nice. I am sure Costa have changed their roast as it is not as good as it used to be. I have found this at quite a few Costas recently. Still better than Starbucks.It could have done with being a bit cleaner. The tables did not seem to have been cleaned and on the occasion, we visited we had to ask for a cloth to clean the table.
