Costa in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

me and my friend had lgone to Costa has she was about to throw up and was the only bathroom closer to us,they mentioned nothing about using the bathroom only for paying customers after she had been sick we where on our way to leave and a very very very rude woman who obviously thought she was entitled told us we arnt allowed to use unless we are paying , so we said oh I’m sorry but u didn’t tell us this and u could clearly see where leaving to go to to the toilet when we walked and she rolled her eyes at us so in my opinion try the other Costa on launceston retail park as never had bad experience with rude disrespectful workers

Rats are living at the outside dining area. Obviously a serious health hazard. The address of the cafe is is now Herdon Road Launceston.

Been to this Costa a few times and really like how warm and welcoming it is, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the seating areas always clean. Coffee is always good and any time we have had a toastie or piece of cake we’ve always been satisfied with it.

Leah was fantastic as we popped in before shopping at the Tesco which houses the costa coffee and she was a pure delight. Most certainly needs a raise and some recognition from the higher ups

They don’t have male or a female toilets, but a shared one which smells of urine, for being a large, coffee, shop you would thought they would have male and female toilets..

I asked for a toasted sandwich, after one bite found I was unable to swallow it as it was so dry, inedible! I stopped a waiter and told him I was sorry but I couldn't swallow it, he took it and popped it on the end of a seat, later I saw a waitress look at it in a quizzical way, so as she later passed I asked her if she would get me a muffin as a replacement for the awful toastie! After 10 mins I realised she wasn't coming back, I had an appointment so as I passed the counter I looked at the waitress and said, goodbye and thanks for nothing, she looked up and said "oh! My manageress said she told you it was vegan so you don't get a replacement? I did go back later to try and set things into perspective, but was then told I shouted at the waitress, so I said "I don't think I shouted" but if she felt I did I apologize, nobody asked me why I was rejecting the sandwich. And I'm out of pocket and was out of lunch. Thanks if you have read this.

Two of us popped in for a coffee. There were three staff and three in front of me waiting to be served. It took an absolute age to be served and it seemed as if the staff were doing everything than serving.

Lovely Costa branch, kept clean (as they all should). Great view from front window across the square. Felt very homely in this one, probably due to the big comfy chairs. Assistant was very helpful and chatty.

Very friendly staff who are very hardworking. Plenty of space and tables cleared swiftly. One of my favourite Costa branches, well done all!

A quick visit, on route to our holiday, to have a coffee, feed the baby and give our toddler a leg stretch. All the staff were friendly and accommodating (our order was slightly complicated). The toilets were clean and the shop had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The toys were a lovely addition, something I’ve never seen in a Costa. Would definitely return

Been in here a few times now. The Coffee is quite expensive, £3.25 for a medium. But at least the place was tidy.

My friend and I stopped off here on a wet and windy day and were greeted with a beaming smile from the friendly young man serving, our lattes were lovey and hot the place was spotless and it was a great atmosphere we will certainly be calling in again if we are in the area.

A warm and relaxing place for a mid morning cuppa. Staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks and teacake were all hot and delicious. The cafe itself was spacious but with a cosy feel, courtesy of soft lighting and comfy furniture.

it looks like this has some unfair reviews for a second Costa on a retail park , this one is in the town centre and I found the service to be excellent , interactive and friendly . Coffe and food is as you expect .

We visited Costa Coffee in Launceston on a mid-week afternoon, and as we walked in, the staff were putting away tables and chairs, 2 hours before they were due to close. Whilst we did get served, we weren't exactly made to feel welcome. Not a nice experience. Drinks and food - same as every other Costa!

This is a Costa at the front of the local Tesco. Parking is plentiful and access is quick and easy. The coffee is average, not the best I have had. A thing I do not like is being handed a cup by the rim, I have experienced this here. It has a handle. My reason for such a low score is the toilets are extremely poor. I guess Costa is not to blame as the toilets are Tescos but it is part of the service. Even after they have been cleaned they are still dirty and smell. I see the same dirt on the wall everyday that has been there for weeks. If the toilets cannot be cleaned to a standard what is everything else like?

One of the nicer Costa Cafes, cosy and yet always seems to have room. The coffee and food exactly as you would expect. Friendly staff

Okay a Costa is a Costa ... isn't it? Well, not quite! This one is especially good being more spacious than many, but then with the added attraction of friendly staff, prompt service and the whole place being kept very clean and tidy.It is a great place to go in Launceston, and exceptionally good value given the extremely high prices (one wanted nearly £8 for routine looking paninis) and poor quality at one other place we went to.

Costa on the retail park Launceston. Unacceptable time waiting to be served, dirty tables, trays, cups etc left lying on tables and yesterday’s newspapers ! Won’t be returning.

In a good location in the own square Costa is a convenient pace for a break or to meet up with friends.

We just stopped for a quick drink when were visiting the area. It was clean and the staff were very polite and efficient. We only had hot chocolate and a millionaires slice. Costa is Costa usually they are all the same, I gave 5 stars because we could not fault it.

If you are visiting this hillside country town or are just out shopping & you feel like a nice break, then why not make your way to this coffee house. The staff are very friendly, they can provide you with some good coffee, such as a flat white, they have some lovely tasty snacks to tempt you & all can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

A friendly welcoming costa with plenty of seats. Coffee and cakes to usual standards. Great central location in the town.

Better service than usual, very friendly. Great choice even at 5pm. Clean and roomy. Only gripe is they are a bit slow to clear tables. Their sausage and cheese toastie is wonderful!

Great place for coffee. I often come here for short meetings. Lovely staff and coffee is great. Also have a lovely selection of cakes.

Luego vinieron a lo largo de la Costa con sus caras café y tartas - ¿por qué - podría estar en cualquier centro de la ciudad - en cualquier parte del país, estos lugares son todos iguales. Costa no tiene atmósfera y su llamado "fair trade" es soso café y horrible. . . . ¿Por qué tienes que infligir vosotros sobre nosotros. . . . . ? Yo fui una vez en la a. . . Y salimos rápido de nuevo! ! ! !

Me gusta Costa - el café es bueno, hay una buena elección de snax, hay wifi gratis. No probar las otras marcas high street de vez en cuando, pero siempre vuelvo a Costa; la coherencia es lo que más me gusta. Ayuda a que tengo una tarjeta de fidelización para los ocasionales gratis taza. Entiendo que es todo sobre gustos y preferencias, pero Costa siempre ambiente funciona para mí.

Lovely friendly costa. Our son treated us to two days of costa whilst on holiday. Thank you to the lovely female staff who chatted to my son whilst making the coffee (and his babychino!) :)

Up to the standard of Costa cafes with friendly service, good coffee and a choice of food snacks. More variety of savouries would be nice, but overall a good stop for a fast-food breakfast or lunch

Mi marido y yo regularmente visite Costa en Launceston para café y tarta. El acceso es fácil desde la plaza, buena decoración y aseos. Tengo un café con leche y mi marido tiene capachino. Ambos tenemos un pastel cada que son siempre frescos y a un precio razonable. Muchos asientos dentro y hay asientos fuera en la plaza. Tengo una tarjeta de puntos Costa Coffee y este puede ser usado para tomar café, etc. cuando ganado suficientes puntos. Lo recomendaría para una parada de refrescos a precios razonables.

Much better than we expected, most of their places we have visited are usually a bit run down. We had a very nice tea and cakes in a clean and smart setting. Well done.

Stopped over here all the way from the other side of the world! Knew nothing about the local area, and the girl over the counter was exceedingly helpful and unbelievably friendly! Coffee and lemon tart were great too!

What more is there to say? Costa is Costa. You're going to get the same coffee and cakes anywhere in the country at a much higher price than the excellent local coffee shops in Launceston. Dull and boring. Try somewhere else.

Más grandes que la media en Costa, pero no muchas mesas para llenarla con, o muy pequeñas mesas o uno grande en la parte trasera de tienda. La gran ventana de la tienda, así como sentarse en un tazón de pescado. Café bien, tuvimos que quejarnos dos veces con problemas de servicio, así que no volveré.

Como yo trabajo localmente, he estado en esta nueva tienda de Costa en varias ocasiones. Tiene una vista del castillo enclavado en la parte trasera de la tienda, con cómodas sillas grandes y chimenea y una gran ventana soleada con vistas a la plaza de la ciudad en el frente. Estoy siempre nos recibió con una sonrisa y un gran servicio de todo el personal. En una reciente visita, el Barista Jack era recaudar dinero para la Costa Fundación caridad en nombre de la tienda Broad Street, ¡bien hecho!
