Lovely coffee shop in the town centre, delicious food and hot drinks ☕️

Arrived earlier than expected & saw the shop opened at 7:30am which was great. Lady server was helpful pointing out the toilet. Will use again rather than using the services on the journey in

Usual Costa only went in for a coffee ☕️ good service nice staff. Could do with another bathroom 🚻

Fairly busy.. shame dogs aren't allowed inside considering it was fairly cold and wet. Had to stay outside the seating area that was on a slope. Couldn't sit for long

Cozy if a little noisy during rush hour

The service is ok ... By which I mean it is functional but disinterested - that's fine, I didn't come in to chat. What winds me up however is that the disinterest extends to making the coffee. I DID come in for coffee and it isn't cheap so I'd like it made properly. Yes, I'd like ALL the previous grinds out. yes, I'd like you NOT to miss the first 10% of the shot because you misplaced the espresso mug AGAIN. No, a flat white isn't just a small latte. Yes, the temperature does matter more than your colleague's night out. I know I'm sounding slightly unreasonable but it is a COFFEE shop - please can someone teach them to make coffee.

Surprisingly busy Costa branch with a 10 min queue.

Very friendly staff and a good coffee, as always.

Sadly, I think that the staff whilst friendly and helpful, are in need of some barista training. Their flat white was the worst I have ever tasted. Also the cake selection was wide open to contamination, being at the front of the counter where people were queueing in line. Needless to say, I did not partake.

Coffee was awesome as usual and the pork sausage bap was lovely. Friendly helpful staff.

First time visiting this site looking at the reviews I'm a bit confused the place was clean staff friendly and helpful tables all clear and wiped down as for the toilets one of the best Costa Toilets I've seen well worth a visit well done. 👍💐

Came here today the two staff members on site was super freindly and helpful nice hot chocolate for my little lad 👍

The coffee we had was good but the service wasn't the best. The toilets had a faulty hand dryer and no other way of drying hands.

Nice Costa café good service and excellent coffee would recommend if you are this way..

Lovely local store that is very community focused.

Costa serve the best drinks, and their cakes and toasted sandwiches are very tasty. Good atmosphere in each of the cafés, plenty of space between tables and toilets for customers.

Go here more often than I should! Staff are always friendly, especially considering how busy it is and how much pressure they are under every day. Chicken and bacon toastie, and a fudge brownie frappe mocha, is my thing. But really everything I’ve tried from there has been good.

Probably one of the worst Costas I've been in. Lots of dirty tables and service was very slow. Coffee was good though.

Staff friendly and drinks up to the usual COSTA standard however: The whole place is shabby, widows and glass cabinet fronts are all streaked, the most comfortable seating area closed off with a barrier of chairs, tables and a mop bucket full of dirty water and the tables not cleared of trays, cups etc. from previous customers... This COSTA has been good in the past, but now it is not inviting and I probably will not be going back!

Toilets are overdue a refurbishment I think...

A good coffee break and the staff were very helpful with my challenge to keep up with the changes to the Clubcard system.

As per usual with Costa nice people and service but toilets are always a disappointment. So will always get a three star or less depending on the staff or service

A pretty standard branch of Costa Coffee, but with a very substandard level of cleanliness in the toilet.

At 9am on a Friday, this seemed like the only place open with many of the local shops shut until 10.30am. Good coffee and the kids loved the hot chocolate.

Just walked into here with my family and was being served by a Lady named Claire Ashton I believe... before I could order my drink she asked me if I'd completed track and trace... which I said no and walked off. .my son was still stood at the till so I said to him to come on Jack and then clare aggressively took off her mask and insisted that I had called her a tramp...upsetting my 9 year old son in the process... very unprofessional and a formal complaint will be made...

Lots of staff, fast efficient service. Lost a star as no indication on my drink that dairy free milk was used.

Needed a last minute coffee and snack so stopped here. Very nice and much needed at the end of the day. Shame couldn't sit anywhere.

Typical Costa, so you know what to expect, we weren't sure about some of the local cafe's on Pwllheli, Wales so opted for Costa, typically staff were friendly, food and drinks were all good, prices are what you expect, so all was good.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and really tried there best to accommodate customers despite the restrictions on capacity due to COVID.

Called in to Pwhelli shop with a family group to be greeted by a waitress saying " don't even think of sitting there ",I know that we have distancing measures in place but do they have to be so down right rude about it ??.. Starbucks from now on.

Amazing and kind service really quick and the white hit chocolate is not too hot nor too cold it's just right!

Great customer service. And also clean and tidy. I found the staff fast and efficient and very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of products that's are fairy priced. They have a travel ping it cup which was fully explained to me. Over all a lovely stop off or a comfy break to stop have a coffee and chat in a relaxing warm comfortable clean place.

Lovely coffee as always from Costs. Nice shop with seating inside and out weather permitting. Now, the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is down to the cleanliness. We visited around 2pm and the floor was filthy with bits of food around the tables. Toilets weren’t clean either. Glass upon entering the shop could have been cleaner, fingerprints and just looked grubby. Would visit again just hope they improve their cleaning!

I often go here after work to get a coffee before I head home. The staff are lovely and bubbly but also work hard. The service is efficient and the store is kept clean. There's a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, cakes and various still and carbonated drinks. Whilst busy at times (like any food/drinks establishment), when you go in when it's mildly busy it's a great place to enjoy your beverage and have a cake if you dislike crowded places. All in all, a wonderful place to visit.

Been imto the shop a couple of times recently since they have a new manager WILL NOT be going in there again im one of many that will not be returning due to the way that the new manager spaeks to the staff she shouts at them on the shop floor and swears not what me and my kids want to hear when we go for coffee from a manager that has been heard more than once saying that she despises children . SORRY COSTA BUT ME AND MY FAMILY WILL NOT BE RETURNING WHILE THE NEW MANAGER IS PRESENT.

For a chain coffee shop the staff were exceptionally helpful. The coffee is good. There are tables outside that are nice in the sun. There is only one loo, so expect queues.

Again a conveniently sited Costa in the shopping area good for taking cover from rain showers or just for a sit-down after a full walk around shopping day. I do hope the new changes of group ownership does not affect the ambiance and quality.

Unfortunately the service was slow and they were unable to prepare the drink I requested. When the drinks did finally arrive the coffee had a burnt taste.

Very friendly staff and a good cup of coffee. Considering it is Summer Season, and shop was busy, everything was clean and tidy.

Always a good coffee at Costa, nice friendly staff Busy Market day so they were a bit busy, no blueberry muffins, not the end of the world, so we had a lemon and a caramel muffin very nice sat out side in the shade.

Usual Costa setup only seemed to have problems with cigarette smokers necessitating smoking area outside front door. The coffee was good but toilet facilities very poor - 1 toilet for for everyone to use.

Never had a bad latte yet and the Tiffin amazing

Had to wait over half an hour for a coffee, there were 4 staff on a busy Saturday morning at may bank holiday, 2 of which were serving, the woman taking the orders was in a rush to take money and the reciepts were getting all mixed up so the poor woman making the drinks was all over the place with no help!! Shockingly bad!
