no plates were available for 10 minutes at any food point, food trays were continuously empty. we had to ask and wait for a variety of foods. 6 dessert trays were empty and the ice cream machine wasn't working. We had 2 stacks of 10 dirty plates on our table, no tables were being cleared or cleaned. As we were leaving one of our party wanted the toilet but if was blocked off. He released the block and was shouted at not to use them as they were being cleaned and they would be closed in 5 minutes. We suggested they actually waited until all customers had left before closing the toilets. 3rd Cosmo we've visited and by far the worst.

Really beautiful interior, large bar, open space floor and nice welcoming reception. Staff polite and friendly. Restaurant really clean.The food so average, cold and poor quality. The chefs behind the buffet looked so bored and not helpful. Few dishes were left out in the buffet for too long as noodles, rice , fries, pizza, mussels……..not presentable! No very good value for money. A bit overpriced for what they serve. First and last time there. A big NO 👎🏻.

First time here with friends for a birthday meal. Excellent experience, they seated 5 easily, restaurant is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Food was hot and tasty, no one got food poisoning which is always a risk with buffets 😬 All the staff were friendly and plates were quick to be cleared. Price was pretty good too when you think of all the different foods, if you spent the same on a Chinese takeaway you wouldn’t get half that amount for almost double the cost so it’s good value for money as well. We’ll be back again for definite.

Had a very tasty meal. Choices are really extensive with something for everyone's taste. All fresh, well presented and cleanly cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Joanne who supported me with my disability needs. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when I am next in Bournemouth.

Was staying in Poole, which did have an all you can buffet that had since closed down, so I went looking around the local area and found Cosmo. Exceeded expectations great food with lots of choice friendly staff and just so much to choose from it was so good that we went back to days later on our very last day before the drive back home.

Great for a casual night out with family friends and couples. Food was hot and fresh with plenty of choice. Desserts were amazing too.

Good selection of all types of cuisine. All you can eat. Some foods I found really delicious others not quite so. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Disappointed by lack of any disabled facilities. Lots of stairs to toilets some without handrails.

Appalling as a group of four we had tasted various choices every choice was over salted n cheap cuts of meat I guess we should’ve expected that but for £22 a head it wasn’t cheap .. major items were not available and they were the expensive choices .. we were there for 20 minutes didn’t eat half a plate n when we complained got SO much attitude but stuck our ground n were refunded very rudely

Went with a group of friends and it was a great experience, good choice of food and for a group of 8 (plus baby) was far more sociable than a sit down 3 course restaurant meal.

I really enjoyed our meal and pudding going again this Saturday can't wait and we are going on the 2nd march

We arrived at opening time 4.30, the staff were professional and showed us to a table , a waitress came with a card machine and we paid for two meals at 19.99 each ,and two soft drinks at 3.90 each, which you could refill also a service charge of 3 per cent which is applied to the bill before you eat which they say is discretionary, the bill was 49.21p The restaurant decor is very nice and modern, and the staff are polite, first we tried the chinese food lots of various dishes to choose from but the taste was far too sweet, we asked the waitress why the food was cold, we put some food on a serviette for her touch , we were amazed when she said, oh it is warm , she later came back to our table and said the was now over 65 degrees, the waitress said take another plate and try again , we did, this time the food was lukewarm at best, the little tubs of ice cream and pineapple were ok, But the deserts , were cheap quality again overly sweet, not nice to the point i could not eat, I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends, and i will not be returning

I find it utterly incredulous that the waitstaff in this contemporary era is subjected to such exploitation. In this excessively bustling establishment, where the quality of fare appears rather dubious—melding aged provisions with their fresher counterparts—it appears the proprietor opts to economize on personnel, leaving them inadequately equipped to manage the demands imposed. My inclination towards imbibing at the bar, whilst awaiting seating, was promptly thwarted by the profusion of unattended soiled glassware. A consequential diminution in revenue for the proprietor, I daresay. On the whole, I shall refrain from patronizing this establishment henceforth. Wishing you the very best of fortune. May I suggest a judicious augmentation of your workforce to ameliorate the current conditions?

Honestly the worst place I've eaten. I went with my kids for my sons birthday I was made to pay full price for my daughter who was under the 155cm she ended up eating one small plate of food because it was disgusting. We ordered 5 soda waters and lime we all agreed it tasted funny didn't drink them. The food was half cold over cooked and I'm my opinion totally disgusting but if reheated frozen food is your thing your coming to the right place

We have been to cosmo a couple times before, one time for my birthday with the same friend. this time we had for starters sushi, for mains spicy white fish (amazing) and for dessert ice cream with chocolate fountain!! amazing at cosmo and very family friendly. my best friend did say that she didn’t want a robot to sing her happy bday because she found it creepy 😂😂🥳

I wont be a returning customer, it wasn't to my or my partners liking. Been a buffet style eater for many a year and tried most places, this place has a nice layout and nice feel to it but the food didn't taste great at all compared to other buffet foods and although there mainly always the same products the tastes were different here but not in a pleasurable way, not as many options here either. There wasnt any plates either on our last visit so had to wait for clean plates to come out. Worth a try, clean and tidy, worth the money but tastes and options not enough for a return.

Not impressed. Despite emailing & then asking again in person, the manager refused to let my wife have a child’s portion, despite her having had a gastric bypass meaning she physically cannot eat the equivalent of an adult size. We continued our booking as a deposit was required upfront, & it was difficult on a Saturday to find somewhere with space for 6 people. We got some rubbish about the children’s offer is not in their policy… rubbish the decision was totally at their discretion and they chose not to offer this. So far the only restaurant who has refused this since she had her surgery. Full payment had to be made up front before eating incase everyone legged it out of course. Food tasted good, but was warm not hot, and the burger buns were stale. Not happy at all,

This Cosmos far exceeds the one in Southampton in every way possible. The food quality was excellent. Each dish was constantly topped up and always warm. Amazing Asian dishes and so many vegetarian choices. Would definitely come again as good value for money.

I like the atmosphere of this place but I do not like the food quality or prices which unfortunately are the main parts of a buffet restaurant. The food is bad and they leave it out for at least 12 hours at a time or until they run out. £21 per person for food and £15 entry. Do not recommend if you want a cheap meal

Avoid at all costs, firstly the description for children on the website is under 155cm no age specified, however we were charge adult fee for a small 14 yo. Food on hotplates not replenished meaning a poor variety. Outside the disabled loo, is the kitchen which is flooded with stagnant water filthy! The floor is slippy from grease and water an accident waiting to happen. The staff are disinterested, the supervisor mandan told us that the manager wasn't there and didn't see to care that my disabled child slipped on the floor Allergens wasn't clear as labels on food were mixed up. Meat was of low quality and mostly fat. Barely ate anything and feel ripped off. Went on a Sunday mainly for roast but couldn't get the veg as they'd run out. You could seriously make better at home at best the food is worse than Iceland or farmfoods.
