Great night with a big group from work. Special mention for Laila who went above and beyond to accommodate our group. She was very friendly and professional.

Love to eat here. A lot of foods suitable for kids and many Asian spicy foods for adult. Love it !

Really good meal. Staff were very helpful and food was great. All was very tasty and I will be going back. Good selection of everything and nothing ran out. Service was good always cleared the plates quickly.

Brilliant variety of food which suits us as we all like different types of food. Reasonably priced, we used their offer of a free meal for someones birthday. They do bottomless soft drinks, which is good value. Would definitely recommend coming here.

An amazing food experience. We went with friends. We got an hour and fifteen minutes at the table. Could have been sat longer but they gave a high turn over of people! Different nationalities to choose from. We will go again!!

A large selection of food covering a range of types and styles - nothing super fancy, but should be something for everyone. Some staff were a bit abrupt like you were a burden. The place was somewhat noisy on both week nights I went. Could be worse or better depending when you go. What I would say is don't trust any prices outside. They sneak on a 3% or 4% service charge on meal cost (it's a buffet and I serve myself, and some may say it's covering the already paid staff putting out food), but that aside you have to buy drinks separately going to the drinks bar - you walk there, you get your drink, you walk it to your table... And despite this they still sneak on a 3 or 4 % service charge again - like what's the point of drinks menu with prices cos they don't even follow them.

Went here for my friend’s birthday and I’m glad he chose this place. Great service, great food (both variety and taste) and they’ve got a cute robot waiter ^^

Love cozmos for its variety of foods. Some things are more liked than others, but they try to replenish as quickly as possible. Some foods are made fresh while you wait. They try and clean quickly when customers spill. You only tend to see waiters/ waitresses when you first go in, and it is difficult to find someone if you don't order refillable drinks. But otherwise it's great.

I'm not saying it was exquisite, but what i am saying is that i was shown to my table by a robot, and then I ate my fill of decent buffet food and left satisfied. Can't complain.

Really busy on a Sunday afternoon. Food pretty nice. Service was ok, even being busy. Reasonable selection of food, my autistic son struggled with some of the food given texture and selection process. Restaurant felt very warm, a little uncomfortable to eat.

We took out daughter and a couple of friends here as it was her birthday. We unfortunately didn't have our 12 year-old's passport with us, or apparently there would have been some sort of birthday deal. In spite of having booked in advance, we still had to wait 10 minutes extra for the table. The food was of a decent quality, but a few things had run out ant weren't replenished while we were there. Really, the problem with going somewhere like Cosmo (or any AYCE place) is that it can just get too busy, meaning waits for tables you booked in advance, waits to get what you want to eat, and shortages of stock.

Lots of choice, the chicken satay is perfect! Always walk away feeling full! More dessert choices than last time! (Haven’t been for about a year), kid friendly, had my baby in her highchair.

Great food choices and taste.. one point ..seating as you walk past looks shabby. Saw a couple walk off as they examined inside seating as it was all ripped....

We arrived with no reservations and were seated in 10 minutes. Payment was taken up front and a “discretionary” service charge was added without us being made aware. You can (and should) challenge them to have this removed. When they removed it they short changed me! The food was mid at most, nothing was especially amazing nor was anything especially terrible! There’s a lot of cross contamination as the tongues aren’t specific to anything, so if you’ve got delicate allergies good luck. There’s so many children running around as well, the staff make no attempt to shout at misbehaving parents who can’t control their gremlins

Great place lots of choices for food, really enjoyed it

I went to COSMO with a group of my friends today. We all think that the price was far too much for what we get, £27 each for buffet and refillable drink. The restaurant has a mix of foods from countries like India, China, Mexico, Italy and a few more places. Food choice range is good for a vegetarian but not so great for vegans, my vegan friend had no choice for dessert except from ice pops and 3 options of fruit. The restaurant itself was very loud and we couldn't hear each other, and some areas of the restaurant were so small that it was difficult to get through. Service wasn't amazing, the staff weren't too friendly.

I've always enjoyed eating at Cosmo in Reading, the food is of the quality that you would expect from a buffet style restaurant. The range of food is extensive and I've always had a good time. Price-wise, it pays to go midweek for lower prices!

Great place for tasting different cuisines.All allergens listed although I don't think I'd risk it if I had severe allergy/coeliac due to customer cross contamination. The food & choice is great & the robots are a nice touch. Not a place to go if you like things quiet as it's always busy.

It was a beautiful experience. Ideal for a date. I had a wonderful time. The food was great. A good buffet service and the host for my night were good to me.

Very nice and friendly staff lovely food

Lovely meal out last night with my Husband. Greeted at the door straight away and seated quickly. Good selection of foods from the buffet. Bibek was lovely and polite making sure we were OK and happy with our meal and sorting out drinks for us. He was also quick to notice that we were ready to leave and wanting the bill after we had finished eating despite it being extremely busy in there. Altogether we spent just over £70 and that included the drinks so it was very reasonable for what we had.

Very tasty multicuisin delicious food of so many varieties. Enjoyed two corporate parties in Cosmo one in 2019 and another now just some days before in 2024 the same taste and the same cleanliness maintained

No.1 buffet place in the whole of Berkshire county. Absolutely mind blowing super fresh and really great tasting food. 10/10 A must visit.

Walking ito Cosmo is like walking into the Tardis. It looks s all from the front but boy it goes all the way back to the rear. There is vast array of food covering most tastes from Mexican, Indian, Thai, Chinese and even some British food!

Good value, good choice. Only one refill machine working on a Monday evening which led to some queues. Staff were efficient, good choice of food, and the Indian food has definitely improved.

It's ok. Not as good as Croydon and since if the food items either aren't available or hidden away. What we did have was tasty though.

No idea on food quality went in guy at the front was more interested in speaking to his mate on the phone then we asked the prices which was basically nearly £60 for two adults and one child you must be having a laugh for a buffet?

Good wide range of buffet food but said quality of food is OK, nothing to write home about. Despite the stringent time allocation they aren't strict on it.

Food was delicious and such a variety to choose from, all had loads of flavour and good quality, plenty to pick from even for the fussy eaters. Service was okay but slightly lacking. Tables are very close together so if you want a more private atmosphere this wouldn't be the place to go.

Cosmos is a great restaurant, child & adult friendly. We visited for my daughters birthday this time and they were happy to accommodate even though we hadn't booked. Great staff, great food at a good price.

One of the best Chinese restaurants around!

There was no Indian food and no Mexican food on the night we went, which was disappointing given it was advertised as available. Didn’t really enjoy the food and was uncomfortably busy, wouldn’t go again. Price was excessive given half the advertised options had run out or were unavailable.

Wasn't great the food was below average the Indian food section was horrible they need a real Indian chef who knows how to cook the food no pakoras (onion bhajis) are red it was horrible only good thing was naan and poppadoms. Waste of money left still hungry after me and family paying over £100

Great place to eat, perfect for a date night, staff were nice and food is quite good quality! Just a shame normal coke wasn't in the bottomless drinks but other than that I would definetly reccomend. My fave is the chocolate fountain and marshmallows!

Please Book well in advance , it’s extremely busy , doesn’t matter any day any time just book . Or wait for 20-30 min . Nice food good service . I went with my colleague for dinner and had to wait 30 min as I didn’t book . You get all the food of the world here , Chinese , Indian , English , Desserts . All for £19.99 per head . We drank corona for £3.95 . Worth the wait and money we’ll spend . The food is great as well . As I said Book and Go or else Wait . Staff service is 8/10 , Food 8/10 , you cannot eat everything but you will enjoy the vibes .

Very good, everything you can expect from a buffet. Only issue is that they sit you less than 20cm from the next table so it isn't very comfortable.

We had our staff party here. They’ve got a wide selection of differenr cuisines. From indian to thai, chinese, japanese, theyve got grilling sections and roasted meats, salads, desserts and drinks. The only difficult part was to queue at the grill and you can only get maximum 2 portion of what ever you wanted them to grill for you. Overall, it was nice! Everyone enjoyed!

The food is disgusting, everything is old, all types of chicken are overcooked and dry all of them are dry and tasteless, mainly all Indian food, chicken and pork or shrimp dumplings, no refills mainly there are always sweet dumplings. No refills desert's also. There is no food here for the money to be paid fresh.There is nothing here for the money, only the food goes to waste. Very disappointed 😞.

Very busy , would seriously advise booking your table before going. Variation of food was incredible and all the once I tried were well cooked and enjoyable. Literally all you can eat so no short portion. Only slight drawback is when full it can get a bit noisy but that's to be expected of a venue that relies on turnover to make a profit. Would still strongly recommend it though.

Unlike other buffet this wasn’t as over whelming I think the option amounts is great to let the little ones decide aswell. They have a great variety and tables are pretty spacious aswell. Great place for kids and bigger groups to eat in

Food was great! You can have Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Singaporean, Hong Kong, Mexican, American, British, Italian and more. I'd recommend going when they open as the lines aren't too long, and if you get there 10 minutes before they open you'll have very few people waiting. Lots of different types of people come here, from nice to not so friendly.

Was invited for a child birthday meal on a Saturday and we had booked a table here overall I had a good experience. Service: we were seated pretty quickly and the waiter took all our ages etc so we were good to start eating pretty much straight away. Drinks orders were made quickly too and the waiters were friendly. They also had a good system with clearing used plates. Food: as far as buffets go the food was pretty decent, there was a good variety and it had decent taste. Obviously not as fresh tasty as I would have like but it’s a buffet so it expected. Prices: For 9 people with drinks (4 adults 5 kids) the bill was £171.00 so about £20 per head I think this was reasonable. Atmosphere: very busy but the atmosphere was pretty chilled. If you’re looking for an affordable buffet at a reasonable price I do recommend this place.

Will start with a caution, don’t have lunch if you are having dinner here. There is so much to eat and so many varieties, I had to travel 5 times to fill up my dish. They also have a live counter for meat and chocolate churning to sprinkle on the ice-cream. And of course, a robot to take and deliver some orders and attracting consumers.

Nice place for birthday celebrations and friends gathering! The variety of food is great and prices are acceptable.

Nice ambience. Good food, Parking was easy on the side road £6.40 for 2 hours. Best was spicy chicken and Singaporean noodles!!

Nice restaurant. A lot of different food from all over the world. I tried a bit of everything and the food was delicious. Only thing alI didn't like was some beef BBQ on the grill, it was a to chewy. Will go back probably.

Have been here on several occasions and cannot fault the food nor service. There is often a short queue on weekends despite booking however this has never been an issue. Massive variety of food including Chinese, Indian and dessert selection, plates are frequently cleared and is good value for money. Ample table space and cocktails are good. One of the best buffet places I have visited.

I've been invited by friends, food was ok, service was fine,you're getting a big value for what you're paying, I did give 5 stars although it's not my cup of tea but I really can't fault the place.

This is a great place for a fairly cheap dinner, even on a prime day like Saturday. If you go for the unlimited soda refills as well, it works out at around £25-28 per person depending on the day. There’s a huge variety of food so there should be something even for the pickiest eater. Downsides are that on busier days, it can be difficult to get plates or cutlery straight away at the buffet lines so you may find you’re waiting for a while. Also, annoyingly the Coke was flat from the soda machines last time I visited, but that’s not the end of the world.

I recently visited Cosmo in Reading and had a wonderful dining experience. For £23 per person, the price is quite reasonable, especially given the variety and quality of the food on offer. I was particularly pleased to find a selection of shrimp and fish, which are my favourites. Overall, I left very happy and satisfied with the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good value and great food!
