Incredible restaurant with stunning views. The food is simply gorgeous. Michelin standard food with none of the pretentions.

Run, don't walk to this treasure. Its just that wonderful right down to the evening whiskey bar. I can't praise it enough and I don't like a great deal of things. This place restored my faith in humanity.

Excellent menu en 5 parties , des choix délicieux , enfin une viande Aberdeen Angus ! Cuissons et assaisonnement parfaitement maîtrisés. Choix vins et whisky diversifiés avec de bons conseils. Service attentionné et très chaleureux. Meilleur restaurant depuis le début de notre voyage (5 jours) Le tout avec une superbe vue sur un lac dans lodge très écossais !

Vi åt middag här under vår vistelse på hotellet efter en rekommendation. Vi är så nöjda med vårat val! Gott vin och fantastisk mat! Väl värt ett besök!

Lovely meal friendly and helpful staff the rib-eye steak was excellent. The jetty was a bit small so had to tie up on a jetty about a mile away this was no problem for the staff they collected us and dropped us off after the meal.

Some of the best meals I have ever had were at this lodge! Amazing 4 course meals served in a stunning dining room. Beautifully prepared with care to detail. Could not be better!

Foi uma experiência excepcional. O restaurante possui uma vista incrível para o lago, foi realmente de tirar o fôlego. Culinária de altíssima qualidade, com produtos selecionados e muito bem preparados. O atendimento por parte dos garçons também foi incrível, o que completou a experiência.

Wij verbleven een nacht op doorreis (zie beoordeling over het hotel) en hadden geen zin meer om nog op zoek te gaan naar een restaurant. Er wordt een keuze menu geserveerd. Elk menu kent 3 gangen met koffie na. De porties zijn daarop afgestemd en van goede omvang. Een menu kost £ 49,50 zonder drank en is daarmee acceptabel geprijsd. Wij hadden als voorgerecht een timbaal van gegrilde groenten met geitenkaas. Prima. De soep kon mijn vrouw niet bekoren maar zij houdt niet van artisjokken en truffelolie. De zalm die als hoofdgerecht kwam was daarentegen weer erg goed. Het dessert van ijs was lekker verfrissend. Kortom goed eten in een mooie setting en een geweldig uitzicht over Loch Lochie.

En deux semaines de voyage en Ecosse, cette adresse est celle qui nous a laissé la plus forte impression. Un décor au charme ancien nous plonge progressivement hors du temps. La petite plage privée, isolée devant le loch Lochy est magnifiquement située. Et la cuisine servie au restaurant ... une véritable merveille. Vaut de s’y arrêter, sans détour puisque situé proche de la route principale.

We verbleven 1 nacht in het hotel(zie betreffende review) en hebben maar gelijk het restaurant geprobeerd. Je kunt kiezen uit verschillende menusamenstellingen met een vaste prijs van 49,50 pond. Dan heb je een voorgerecht, hoofd, na en koffie. Wij hebben geen koffie genomen (het was al laat en het duurde langer dan we hadden verwacht) en moesten toch de volle prijs afrekenen. De gerechten waren door Ian met zorg bereid en soms met een verrassende twist. Bijvoorbeeld het voorgerecht wad zalm met ijs. Smaakvol. De bediening (Michael, geen familie en net 2 weken in dienst) was vriendelijk en correct. Het eten was goed alsook de bediening maar geen 4 sterren.

Very nice setting of restaurant with great views and excellent food. A little pricey but prepared by an accomplished chef and service is outstanding.

Certes les mets sont délicieux et servis avec beaucoup de classe mais le prix est un peu élevé ! On vous sert l'apéritif dans le bar et on vous installe par la suite à table. Couverts en argent, verres en cristal et vaisselle fine... Le café ou le thé est servi au salon avec des petites mignardises. La décoration est hors du temps mais si sympa ! Il règne une atmosphère so British à la miss Marple! Dommage les canapés ne sont pas très confortables, un peu avachis.

The meal we had was superb! I had the hand collected scallops which were beautifully cooked, and the the fillet of Aberdeen Angus beef. The service was 5 star, including the fact that one was a trainee which was made known to us. The bar/restaurant manager, James, could not be faulted - polite, efficient and respected our privacy to enjoy our meal. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, the restaurant is well worth the journey to get there.

We ate dinner here during our trip to the highlands - what a pleasant surprise. We were treated like royalty. We were first seated in a drawing room for drinks and to look at the menu. Later we were seated in the dining room. This is a prix fixe menu with 3 options for starters, a soup, 5 options for main, and 5 options for dessert. We chose venison pate and a cheese puff pastry for starters. Our mains were lamb and steak. Presentation and flavor were incredible, service was very professional and the views.....wow. After dinner we went back into the drawing room for petite fours and coffee. Probably the finest dining experience of my life. It is, however, very pricey.

You should by all means eat at the restaurant here if you are staying the night. The chef prepared us the most delicious meal, worthy of a Michelin star. Service was top notch.

Très bonne cuisine traditionnelle, fine et inventive. Nous avons apprécié le saumon fumé sur lit de betterave et gingembre ainsi que le dessert au chocolat et baies rouges. Le cadre est typiquement écossais. La vue est très belle, le service et l'accueil sont impeccables et sympas. Ne ratez pas la dégustation de whiskies après le dîner.

Romantic dinner, good food, good meat. Very good wine card and reach whisky bar. The portion are good and submitted in good style

the food is terrific, quite sophisticated, and beautifully served in the dining room with a view of Loch Lochy. the facility is small and intimate, almost like a private dining room. very pleasant

El restaurante en el hotel es de primera categoría... elegante en todos los sentidos. Y sin embargo eres un huésped en un hotel muy acogedor, profundo en el país. Así que la combinación de estar en casa, se sirve con sábanas blancas, china, cristal y un servicio elegante es una combinación exquisita. Realmente nos encantó nuestra estancia, el servicio, el toque hogareño elegante para todo.

Si buscas una experiencia increíble ya sea gastronómico, paisaje, servicio o estilo, este es el lugar donde debe visitar!

¿Qué puedo decir? Este hotel boutique castillo Quint con un restaurante de 5 estrellas está bien vale la pena el viaje. El restaurante era difícil elegir lo que pedir, desde los aperitivos hasta el entrante a la postres fabulosos. La madre del chef es el restaurante del hotel/propietario. Él es enseñado y es increíble!

The lodge is located about halfway between Fort William and Fort Augustus and there is really not much around it so it is fairly secluded. It overlooks Loch Lochey and has a beautiful waterfall behind the lodge. The setting is 5 star, and the food is 5 star. The lodge itself is homey but a little dated or rustic. We did not have the dinner but heard great things about it (it is a bit spendy). The cooked to order breakfast was included in our stay and was awesome. Internet is limited and the TV selection is so so. That was not important to us but am just passing it along as an FYI.

Un menu unique a 49.50 GBP/pers., mais quelle découverte!Le chef propose un menu avec 5 entrées, 5 plats, une soupe du jour. Une véritable découverte de plats tous cuisinés a base de produits écossais, que ce soit le poisson, la viande ou les légumes.Un restaurant gastronomie dans une petite salle pleine de charme avec vue sur le loch et sur une petite cascade .La carte des vins n'est pas en reste avec une belle et large sélection.

Bel établissement avec une jolie vue.Décoration un peu vieillotte mais l'essentiel est ailleurs : les plats sont délicieux et le service est à la hauteur. N'hésitez pas à faire une halte même si l'addition n'est pas à la hauteur de toutes les bourses.

Charming hotel, great food, gorgeous views. All four of us ordered different meals and each felt the food was outstanding.
