Corpa Cafe in Newport

Picked a random café for me and my nearly 4yr old. Google showed opens at 8 (Sunday) and the pic of the poached eggs lured us there. An amazing find. Comfortable seats, nice colours/atmosphere. Left us to it but served us great. Even cut the sausage just enough so my girl could manage on her own. Really blinding breakfast! Really impressed. The eggs. The bacon. All of it was as good as it gets in my opinion. And a lollipop for my girl after so both happy.

Excellent proper cafe on Corporation Road. Food is freshly prepared and the best part you get free lentil soup with breakfast. Staff are attentive and friendly but not fussy. Well recommended. We live nearby and walk there however parking is restricted.

Shocking 13 pound for a shish with rice and chips turns up chickens hard literally 8 chips no rice and a ton of salad more onions amd beetroot than anything for 13 quid I feel robbed !

First visit - outstanding service - great environment - excellent quality food -freshly cooked - also very flexible when we didn't want exactly what was on the menu- definitely visit again

The blend of Turkish breakfast and English is impeccable! The food here is no doubt delicious and the quality of it is something else. They take pride in their work and their service is nowhere else to be seen. If you are considering a breakfeast this is the place they also had a wide range of vegetarian options for my friend who came from London, which he was well pleased. Thank you very much to the lad in the curly hair for the service

The food was absolutely amazing 5 star service and the workers are very lovely especially the young lad with the curly hair I would recommend the corpa cafe for all families to come down and have their breakfast as this place is has amazing atmosphere brilliant service and impeccable food thank you for this experience fero 🤙🏽

The food is okay, coffee is okay, the TV is very noisy though. I won’t be returning, but other customers looked happy enough.

We have tried many cafes trying to find one that has well made food, for a reasonable price, with a nice atmosphere. We finally found it in The Corpa Cafe! We both both the eggs Benedict (I added hashbrowns) and asked for our bacon well done, which they perfectly delivered. My husband also got a breakfast roll, and then we just had to try the school cake and chocolate crunch both with custard. There wasn’t a single fault in the food we loved it all. For all this food and 3 drinks it was about £30 which I think is really well priced since we technically got 3 breakfasts! The vibe in the cafe is so nice and relaxing, the chairs are really comfortable and the whole place is very clean! So happy we found this place we will definitely be back!

Once again food was top quality.

First time going after a quick search on cafés near me. We got there just after 2pm which is late and it was nearly empty. We were welcomed in and sat at one of there spacious comfortable tables. It was light and airy and we we soon waited on. I had an english breakfast and my gf had a ham and cheese omelette. While we were waiting we were offered some soup which was very good and also had some freshly squeezed orange juice. The main came and was a good size and presented well. The staff were very warm and we are definitely going back.

Exceptional food and value from this family run cafe. This is not your average greasy spoon cafe, far from it. Exposed brickwork and wooden tables with designer lighting that would put many high end restaurants to shame. Situated on a main arterial road the Corpa is a hidden gem serving great food at great prices throughout the day. Their breakfasts are amazing and served with a bowl of soup! The menu features main dishes and now includes Sunday roast dinner. It's a popular place and never empty but always a warm welcome, the corpa attracts a wide customer base with many many regulars from across town. Unashamedly it's become my goto for breakfast and lunch. It's spotlessly clean and the family team are friendly and welcoming Never had a bad meal and always ready to meet requests.

Food is always good, staff are always friendly, polite and extremely helpful. They offer up a traditional Turkish soup starter for free on every visit. It is also dog friendly and they also go out of their way to provide water and treats for you're dog, if they're good they get a slice of toast too.

Best place for a good quality, low cost breakfast in Newport. Owner is lovely and always cares about his customers. Only place we will go for breakfast 👌🏻

I had another great breakfast today at the Corpa Cafe, followed by a good meeting with Sean and Gwent Radio. We signed them up as partners to help their businesses grow using the RepGro system. Wishing their business luck - the food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the surroundings are perfect for business meetings.

I admittedly bought the eggs benedict to see what they were like they're a favourite for me however the eggs were rock solid and the hollandaise sauce was destroyed by pepper & just tasted so weird. The rest of the order was perfect as usual, at least I now know :)

Food arrived upside down and squashed. Egg was overdone and stuck to the lid of the box due to the box being damaged

every single time we get 2 breakfasts I only ever have poached eggs, might as well order them hard boiled as despite asking for only very softly poached I get ping pong balls. EVERY TIME. sort it out chef

Called in for the first time this morning after picking up my grandson from work. We were both very impressed, not only by the faultless breakfast, but also by the service and cleanliness. Will definitely visit again.

Great food at a good price and immaculate vibes always! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and after going there most weekends for the last 6 months id say they're well worth a visit! Great value for money, breakfast got to us piping hot. The Beans and toast were packed separate to the breakfast, great idea! Would order again. My only critique is the bacon was a little overcooked although we still ate it so it wasn’t inedible.
