Called in on the way out for a day trip. The lady that served us was very polite and really friendly. We had a traditional breakfast and a couple of small breakfasts and my family and I was very impressed with the food and the chef even came out with a jug of extra tomato juice. Cash only not a problem or there is a cash till round the corner at the coop. Excellent value for money. Thank you

The Corn Dolly Café was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Wragby. We've now been twice and have not been disappointed on either occasion. The food and service has been excellent served by pleasant and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Even though it is a 30 minute drive from where we live, I don't think it will be too long before we pay our next visit to the Corn Dolly Café.

Intended to have breakfast halfway through a long journey. Cafe was half full, there appeared to only be her and one other staff serving but she made us feel so unwelcome and was rude and abrupt even though she was not significantly busy. We left as her attitude wasn’t good enough and my husband in no uncertain words told her so. We spent our money up the road at a lovely cafe where they appreciated our business. Awful customer service, the manager needs a few lessons in politeness and really shouldn’t be running a business dealing with the public.

Food was brilliant. Definitely recommend for bikers. Payment was cash only but there is a shop next door with a cash machine if you don't have cash on you. Social distancing, hand sanitiser in place. I cannot recommend this cafe enough. Being a sleep deprived mum of a 3 month old with a cold, getting out and about can be hard work, daunting and sometimes feel very stressful. I went with family and my baby this morning for breakfast and in typical baby style as soon as my breakfast arrived, he started crying. I went into the back part of the cafe to feed him and try and settle him down and the waitress had seen what I was doing so very kindly took my breakfast and asked them to keep it warm for me but not only did the owners (in the kitchen) keep it nice and hot, they had in fact re done my breakfast once my baby had settled! If that's not fantastic customer service then I dont know what is! Thank you Corn dolly. Great service and lovely breakfast.

I just popped in whilst my wife was having her hair done, but I will certainly pop in again. I scanned the menu, many pages of fair priced fare, and chose a bacon and tomato bap with a cup of tea. I had ordered this at the counter, but I should have sat down and waited for service, but this was no problem to the experienced staff. My tea was served quickly and the roll soon followed, with a pleasant surprise; the tomato wasn't just a cold slice but three nicely warm tarantella tomatoes. They were a fitting accompaniment to the hot and thick rashers of lean bacon. I should with hindsight have ordered a mug or pot of tea, but the cup sufficed on this occasion. The whole place was neat and clean, and the fittings reflected the age of the building beautifully with many items sparking conversations.

I used to come here as a child and couldn't believe it was still called the Corn Dolly, whilst inside it has lost its charm and looks like a typical cafe, the hot chocolate with cream and salted caramel cheesecake were delicious. Stopped off at Wragby for lunch and the cafe looked inviting. We ordered sausage egg & chips and cheese & bacon omelette with chips. Plenty of omelettes on the menu but not cheese & bacon so asked the waitress if this was ok. We had to repeat the whole order 3 times before it was understood what we wanted..Few minutes later the waitress came back and said I would have to pay extra for the bacon. Some confusion over this but in the end agreed to pay the extra.A pot of tea for 2 was brought out & extra pot of water, butthe milk jug was not even a quarter full ! We were going to ask for more but got sidelined by the fact a man directly behind us was coughing to the point of nearly being sick every few minutes.. omg he should not have been in there. We then realised the table next to us were also coughing & spluttering and also a lady across the room sneezing into a hanky. Germs everywhere we couldnt believe the guy behind us especially it was disgusting and really off putting. Our food had already been given to us otherwise we would have moved, the area of the cafe that we were seated in was quite small. The food itself.. cheese omelette with a piece of bacon on the side of the plate.. whaaaat... other cafes normally put the bacon in the omelette lol ! Portion size was plenty, tasty & value for money. We did not find the staff to be that friendly, they only seemed chatty with the regulars. Also not that attentive when taking the order.Shame really. That evening I came down with a pretty sore throat, bad cough and feel terrible.

We have called here recently on a couple of occasions for breakfast and haven't been at all disappointed. The Corn Dolly is a good old fashioned English café. The breakfasts are excellent with decent quality bacon and proper Lincolnshire sausages and the price for breakfast is good at just over £10 for 2 including a hot drink. The locals seem to go for the daily specials which are good value: the people on the table next to us had the daily special of poached haddock, chips and peas with a hot drink each and their bill came to just under £28 for four of them!

Our remaining diner had gammon, egg & chips - also an inspired choice. For puddings three of us had treacle pudding & ice cream and the other sticky toffee pudding and custard - we really couldn't fault any of the food and the service was quick but without having the impression we were being hurried out.Overall I would rate it between a cafe and a restaurant - and as for value the whole meal cost us £33 for 4 of us - simply brilliant and highly recommended !!

We stopped in quickly for breakfast on our way to Lincoln. The cafe had several tables in so we assumed it was going to be good.We were immediately greeted by the cheerful waiting staff. We sat down and looked at the large range of food on the menu. We opted for one of the specials which was clearly a homemade dish and was delicious! I couldn't have wanted for anymore as the portion siZe was so generous!Hats off to the chefs! After pleasing myself and family we are proud to recommend this family friendly cafe to anyone after good value, home cooked food.:)

We was sat down by a very friendly member of staff and ordered some drinks then the manager came out and ordered us to move our pram she was so rude we decides to leave my mother in law asked to speak to her and politely told her why we was leaving the manager started to shout saying we were wrong so another table of women told her that she actually was rude and then the manger kicked the high chair out of the way after we took out out daughter she did not apologise we will never go back there again !!!!!!!

It seems that the staff here must be feeling a bit liverish just lately because as soon as we arrived we got told off for not booking! We were disgusted at the attitude and walked out. It makes me wonder how they are still in business!

Myself, husband and 2 sisters-in-law called into this café this morning. We were hoping to purchase drinks and breakfast. Unfortunately this wasn't to be. Upon walking up to the counter we were told by a very unfriendly lady "you will have to take a seat-I've got all these other people to see to." Not even given the chance to order anything. We did sit down and immediately 6 or 8 men came in and were told exactly the same as us, except they were also told "you should have rung before you came!" At this point we all left the premises. Maybe some customers were hiding but we only counted 2 people already in there. That was about 10-12 customers lost. Can't rate the food or drink as we didn't get any!

This honest café is clean & inviting but not haute cuisine. Most of the menu encompassed various forms of the traditional fried breakfast. A chalkboard lists the days specials - today was Celery soup, Pie veg & gravy, Chix casserole, Haddock & chips. It was all home prepared & cooked nicely - nothing watery or dripping with fat. Good quality ingredients were evident. Friendly prompt service and the food was hot and brought to the table in good time. Excellent VFM, but I wouldn't eat there if I was on a diet!

Called here for breakfast during the week after an early start. The cafe is spotless, the staff friendly and the full breakfast was great. Just what I needed. The cappuccino was one of the better ones I've had in Lincolnshire. The food kept me going all day.

Great cafe - very good food at very reasonable prices. Friendly service too. The Corn Dolly is located in the market place in Wragby so is ideal as a stopping place going to or from Skegness or the coast. Had a full English breakfast which was excellent

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.

Nice and cheerful and excepts dogs. Food is OK and reasonably priced. Great family environment. Great and pleasant staff. Can get crowded at busy times but still a great time. Nice and clean, close to the beach to walk the meal off :). Recommended :)

Lovely fish and chips hot and fresh cooked to order . Few seats outside or you can sit inside at extra cost . Only reason I've not given 5 stars is cause they charge for a carton to take away what you can't eat which I thought was a bit mean as we'd spent over £30
