Absolutely delicious food, perfect service and highly recommended.

I struggled to find the dishes that were gluten free despite having requested this on booking. I was told it wasn't a problem as they had plenty of choice. Their menu should be updated to include allergens and the staff should also be trained. Most of the starters were on toast but they didn't have gluten free bread! I had venison steak in the end but it was tough and grisly. Panna cotta was the only choice for dessert. Very disappointing.

Great food and great service. Really nice ambience. The only thing that is disappointing is the 10% service charge on every bill. Seems everyone is doing this now. Take it off we are not America. I would always tip if service is good regardless.

A lovely meal, great service and nice atmosphere. What more could you want from a nice bistro. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back.

Lovely food great staff and lovely surroundings

Had to ask three times for our drinks to finally arrive. One member of staff clearly didn't want to be working. One of our glasses for water had a big chip on the rim. The menus all need updating, they are tatty and have spelling mistakes. The food, however, was great and overall the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. With a few small touches, Copper Kitchen could be great, but overall the service and having a number of menu items not available, it was a bit of a let down.

Food and service were nice, coffee wasn't good.

First time visiting. We were looking for a quiet lunch with great food and service - we found all that here. Recommended.

Copper Kitchen is a great local independent restaurant which serves freshly cooked tasty food. The staff are very friendly and willing to accommodate the needs of any group. The food and drink is also reasonably priced for a restaurant. I'd recommend it for a leisurely bite to eat.

A mixed bag. The restaurant is a lovely rustic building, no airs and very relaxed. we found a couple of thing’s disappointing. Two of the group ordered rib eye steak. Both said it was sinewy and somewhat chewy. I was offered a couple of pieces and can confirm their view. Two of us ordered Nepalese curry which was very nice indeed. Served with fresh vegetables and rice all cooked perfectly. The steak eaters ordered a bottle of pinot noir, which is their preferred red. It wasn’t available. Why have it on the list then? I’ve read reviews and had friends report very favourably of The Copper Kitchen but we left feeling a bit disappointed.

I went for lunch the staff are excellent the menu is great value and the food was fantastic well done would recommend to try the Copper Kitchen soon

A lovely restaurant with some unique food options. Loved the ambience and delicious food.

Rude person who answered the phone hung up twice after my trying to ask for a manager, never phoned before so this to me was just bizarre. rude member of staff needs a lesson in manners.

Very very nice food, perfect for a nice meal out. Came to Bicester for shopping but the food has also broadened my horizons. Would highly recommend

Had a lovely meal with my partner here the other night. We went quite early so it was quite quiet, but the atmosphere was nice and peaceful. The food was lovely and portion size matched my personal preference - I was full but not bloated and we ate everything on our plates. We had the confit duck and halloumi burger, both delicious! For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding and raspberry panacotta, both great but our fav was definitely the panacotta.

Best meal out in a long time, beautiful setting & such lovely staff, we will be back soon

Really lovely restaurant. They were out of the Lamb Shoulder when we went but subbed it for lamb steak which we had rare and it was exquisite! Also had a Goulash which too was cooked to perfection. All the staff were lovely and the place generally has a really relaxed vibe even when busy! Will 100% be going again.

Awful. Steak was severely over cooked, ingredients aren’t fresh or quality

Visited lasted night and was really looking forward to it. The menu online looked amazing. We've dined out around the world not much in the UK to be honest. But we were really surprised when we ordered the special which was an 8 oz steak and got the bill and was charged £32 when the menu had a 10oz steak for £22. I asked the server and was told it's because it was the special! We were really confused to be honest. Also the special.price was not displayed so maybe we should have asked before but just assumed it's a 'special'. Is the special always more than what's on the menu here and why is the steak a smaller size but more expensive? This definitely would make me think twice about going again. Sadly because the place is simply gorgeous. My starter also had to be sent back because my bread was stone cold and the soup of the day was also lukewarm. We also took our 4 year old daughter and she was ok, she had fries which she was happy with.

This is a little gem of a restaurant in Bicester. The food was divine. I had the steak and my mum and friend had seabass. All were cooked to perfection. Staff were great and looked after us well. Definitely eat at this lovely local family restaurant. The best in Bicester

Having been several times over the years, I've noticed recent changes. Unfortunately quality has dropped and my steak was over cooked. It was OK, but that's all. I've had comparable steaks in Weathespoons at a third of the price. Hopefully this was a one-off.

The place is nice and clean and the service is kind. Unfortunately no any drink on tap. 😔 My beef burger was perfect, the first place in England I got mustard in it, what was a bonus as I think it's a must. The beef patty melting and moist. Enough for dinner and coming with chips. The chef definitely love to cook here. 👍🏻I believe any food will be good from their menu.👌🏻

We went for dinner last night, six of us and a child. The food was excellent, all six of us were very happy with our choices. Child’s menu not offered, but they cooked fish and chips for her which was well received. The service was first class, the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. One small thing, please update your website menu, two desserts that we anticipated were no longer on the menu. Slightly disappointing. Otherwise first class, would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you.

Been here a couple of times. Food is usually brilliant. I had the Chicken Supreme last time which was great and my husband had the steak. The Steak was meant to be medium but was actually well done and wasn't that great.

Excellent food, fabulous wine, convivial atmosphere and very professional and friendly service. Not much else to say really... Except that if they have the pan fried sole for main and the panna cotta for pudding, have them! They are to die for. I strongly advice booking - we saw many would be customers turned away.

Love this place!! The Pear walnut and blue cheese salad starter is AMAZING! And the steaks are always cooked to perfection.

Have recently started to eat gluten free. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgable about what I could eat. I had a choice of a few mains. Chose Chicken Supreme. Delicious! My 6 year old grandson had just what he wanted including ketchup but not on his burger. Charming staff, delicious food, what not to like!

What an amazing dinner . Called In on the way home ordered take away. We had everything to share as the wife is sometimes fussy .We had the blue cheese, walnut, date, and pear with balsamic salad. And mozzarella wrapped in ham in toast and the confit duck with dauphinoise and red cabbage with a side of vegetables. The atmosphere in there seemed to be very good. Staff were very friendly and even got a part cooking lesson from the chef about why he had flame grilled the veg to release extra flavour. And all the dishes were delicious.

My partner and I visited the Copper kitchen restaurant for our Valentines evening meal, it was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and the service was first class from the lovely staff Will most definitely be going there again and would highly recommend to anyone

Lovely staff and tasty food. A small restaurant with a small well chosen menu. Meat is cooked to your liking and the quality of the dishes was just as you hope they will be. I and my friends were very happy. A place I will be going back to.

We arrived quite late (after 9pm) and they were incredible in serving us until 10.30pm without any issues. And delicious food of course!

The food was excellent and good selection of wines. It has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, which is noticeable as soon as you enter. I had a beautifully cooked steak and sat in the rear of the of restaurant. Everyone working there were polite, helpful and skilled. Glad to see them open again, since the lockdown. A pleasure to dine in. Highly recommended.

I ventured out with my friend this weekend, first time out since Feb 2020. Food was absolutely amazing, we both had the lamb. Cooked and presented perfectly. Really nice atmosphere and staff were really lovely. Definitely hope to be back again soon

I've always wanted to try Copper Kitchen so I was quite happy when I found it on the list in Just Eats. I ordered the pan fried mozzarella, prawn linguine, halloumi and veggie bacon burger with 2 portions of chips. The order arrived within the estimated time plus the person who delivered the food was quite friendly. Firstly, the presentation for each item was great. I particularly loved how the pan fried mozzarella came. The each food item tested amazing, there were the right amount of spices plus it was cooked perfectly. I loved that they used recyclable containers as some places haven't adapted to that as yet. The only thing, and this is my opinion, is that the linguine should have a veggie option. The spices all worked together really well and can stand alone.

Burger as a takeaway. Very good burger full of flavour and not dry. Nice skin on chips as well.

We ordered valentine menu. We had a great meal, it was very good. Especially the beef wellington which was cooked perfectly. Thank you so much to have done it earlier for us.

Brilliant as always. Tonight we had duck leg confit with parsnips, braised red cabbage, dauphinoise potatoes and jus. It was so tasty and the duck was really tender. I followed with panna cotta with raspberry couli and my hubby had sticky toffee pudding. We arranged a time and collected it ourself so they give us a discount for that, very good prices too. Really recommend 5*

I have eaten in this family run business many times and I have never been disappointed. Today I had delivered due to Covid restrictions the goulash and it was so tasty. The delivery driver was so polite and courteous. I highly recommend you try it.

What an absolute gem first time and feel we have missed out never coming before, the staff are first class and a credit to the restaurant. The ambiance and decor is beautiful really sets the mood, super clean and feels really unique. We had the steak which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the burger which was amazing, for dessert we had the brownie and sticky toffee pudding simply amazing. Shame we are about to go into lock down as we would be back next week, but they are doing a limited take away menu so we will definitely give that a go. Thanks again for a great meal.

The Copper Kitchen is fast becoming one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants. Our latest visit provided the usual excellent meal - we spoiled ourselves with three courses and a decent bottle of wine - with charming and efficient service. And, of course, in these uniquely difficult times, social distancing was effectively observed. If you live in the Bicester area and have not done so already, I recommend your giving this place a try.

We came here as the first place after lockdown and during the eat out to help out scheme. All tables had lots of space between and staff were wearing full face visors. Our waitress was also very friendly and helpful making the experience altogether very reassuring and enjoyable. The food was also delicious; I ordered the king prawn linguini and it was a huge portion with a generous amount of prawns that I was very impressed with. The desserts were not quite as impressive but still tasty. Overall, very tasty food, a lovely atmosphere and great service.

Our first dinner since easing of restrictions. We have eaten here before for lunch but wanted to try for dinner as we loved the lunch. It is absolutely faultless and 5 stars all round. The food is delicious and wine list is extensive. The staff are very welcoming and have really taken social distancing very seriously. A fantastic evening which we all enjoyed immensely and will definitely be coming back again and again.

I have been here before and the food is fresh and flavoursome. This was my first time since covid. First you had to book, as it was all the tables were full. They had taken tables out so there were less spaces. The door was propped open. When someone arrived and their table was not ready they waited outside. There was sanitizer no waitress worn a face sheIlderton. They took orders in one go to cut down on contact. A very enjoyable evening to start getting back to normal and £10 off aswell.

Booked as part of the eat out to help out scheme....basically going Dutch with the taxman!...ambiance was great, very welcoming. Varied menu...but I still went for the fillet steak...nicely cooked and chips were great. King prawn linguine was delicious (words of my 11 year old)...great home made desserts. Would highly recommend and now one of my favourites in Bicester....only downside is it is quite small so book early for a table...

Visited the restaurant recently and I have no complaints. The service was pleasant and attentive, with menus sanitised after use. The food was delicious (would recommend the chicken supreme and braised lamb), affordable, and the menu showcased a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options. I booked online through messaging on Facebook and they were very quick to reply and confirm my booking. Overall a lovely place to have dinner.

We have selected Copper Kitchen to have our first post-lockdown restaurant dinner at because we had been there once in the past and really enjoyed it, and we wanted to support a local independent place as well. We have also heard positive comments about their social distancing measures. We have not been disappointed! The tables were well spread out, and sanitising gel was provided to all guests. We have really felt safe. When it comes to food and wine, the evening was just great. Prawns & chorizo toast for starter, then duck leg and goulash, with a delicious panna cotta and sticky toffee pudding to complete the experience. We've probably eaten a bit more than we desperately had to but not having been out for 4 months we've wanted to give it a proper go! With the service being as pleasant and helpful as one can only wish for, we feel that we can wholeheartedly recommend the place to anyone looking to dine out in Bicester!

We have just ordered our first meal from copper kitchen and I have to say it was amazing proper home cooked delicious food 👌 prawn linguine, chicken burger and chips .... so delicious and they delivered to our door 👌 I hope this delivery service continues after lockdown as we would love to have this option every the weekends 🤗 great work team 👍🏼👍🏼😉😉

Copper kitchen can’t open at the moment, but are doing take away instead. We had one tonight and it was delicious! Closest we’ve come to having a restaurant experience from home - the food was every bit as good as when they serve it in the restaurant and it even looked fantastic, served in recyclable containers. Would’ve taken a photo but I’d already gulped it all up before I thought to! All in all - it’s obvious when someone really cares and takes pride in what they do. Copper kitchen clearly take a lot of pride in their work and have a talent for what they do. It shone through even in these very strange and challenging times, especially if you’re a restaurant.

Nice atmosphere especially with the new extension to the restaurant. We visited on a midweek evening without booking and found a table although it's busy at weekends. Menu is consistently good although rarely changes. Duck confit is lovely every time :-)

I went here with my boyfriend and had heard so much good reviews from friends and family. From arriving we were greeted and given a choice of tables it had a really nice atmosphere, a good selection of drinks to choice from especially wine. I wasn’t going to but ended up going for 3 courses, starter being the blue cheese and pear salad which was delicious, the duck confit main was beautifully cooked and panna cotta dessert couldn’t be faulted either. The staff all helpful and friendly and I will be back soon for sure

Lovely restaurant good food. Only thing which is little picky, was that the staff didn't seem to have specific tables to look after which meant that we we overly attended to. How ridiculous is that as a comment?! However hopefully it will help the restaurant become even better. Thank you

Lovely local with home cooked food. Cosy friendly and intimate. Can’t fault the food. Reasonably priced, good portion just lacking on the presentation side of things. I really enjoyed my meal and I amGlad I ate in an independent restaurant. Should have been a 3 star review with what I had witnessed in the kitchen ( have emailed the venue separately) but the food was to a good standard.

If you want to try a Bistro restaurant that is the nearest to a left bank one in Paris, you can't go wrong at the Copper Kettle in Bicester. Wonderful food under the care of master chef Kush. The Australian shiraz is as good as you'll get. Well done to all

16 of us ate there last night for our Book Club annual dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, ambience cosy, staff lovely and a great wine list. Would thoroughly recommend. We pre booked our meal as we were such a big party.

We moved to Oxfordshire area last april & still finding our feet, so we looked for somewhere to eat with a bit of charm liked the look online & was not disappointed, although we the only ones in at early lunch, it was not to disappoint I had the salted mushrooms absolutely delish could of had it again for my main not that the main was not lovely i had halloumi & mushroom burger (without the brioche bun) am usually a bit disappointed when I do just get a slice of halloumi & mushroom whether in a bun or not, yet I still always choose it if I see it in the hope I get something with a bit more imagination. Needless to say I finished it & it was very tasty. My husband had king prawns & chorizo which he said was delish then for main confit of duck which he loved. The place has such a lovely atmosphere & I can imagine when its busy & bustling it's just lovely. Our server was lovely & attentive. We will be back, thank you copper kitchen you did stop us eating rubbish in the cinema x
