Stopped here on way to silverstone had a few pints very good beer pub was full of laughter and everyone was so friendly. Very big inside also have a decent pool table

Amazing food, great drinks, very reasonable prices, and most of all lovely service :))) would highly recommended to anyone wanting a quick but quality dinner and pint.

Slow service (not their fault as they were on their own, poor planning really), roast ok but only ok (cauliflower cheese very mustardy, roast potatoes dry and parsley burnt). "Kid Friendly" park is old and dangerous, not an option for a young child.

Absolutley amazing roast dinner! 10/10 best in kidlington and surrounding areas by a country mile! All 3 meats was spot on and vegetables and potato’s was perfect along with a special recipe gravy . Ate in a beautiful garden with a perfect atmosphere . Highly recommend ! :)

Easy going place, good beer choice

Used function room for family gathering including the pubs hot food and drinks, fantastic hosts, great organisation, very good communication and amazing value. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a friendly and inviting setting.

Arrived without booking and was welcomed by friendly staff. Served our food within 15 minutes. We only went in for a quick lunch and were treated to a superb, traditional Sunday lunch cooked to perfection. Generous portion size made the meal seem like excellent value.

Popped in for a late Sunday lunch as we were passing. Luckily we just caught the kitchen open and had a lovely couple of roasts, beef and lamb, with loads of veg, all served by helpful and friendly staff. A nice pub with a couple of larger rooms at the back, but both still nice and cosy. Well worth giving a try if you're in the neighborhood.

A good selection of meats and veg offered for the hearty Sunday lunch. Appreciated the homemade Yorkshire's, cauliflower cheese, crispy roast tats and enjoyed red cabbage, swede mash, carrots, beans and broccoli.

At the time of our visit to this pub, access was across significant path and road works being undertaken immediately outside the entrance. We needed a late lunch and on arrival, the bar was empty, but we were apparently just in time to obtain some food. The bar and food area had a very "homely" atmosphere with old photographs of the locality on the walls. We ordered at the bar and confirmed that allergy requirements could met. We waited a while for the food, but when served, it was clear that it was freshly prepared and represented excellent value. Our experience would encourage us to visit again.

I cannot say enough about the Six Bells for their kindness. This past weekend was my aunt and uncle's 67th wedding anniversary. My husband and I wanted to do something special for them so we called the Six Bells on Sunday. The kind gentleman took the order and asked if we could pick it up for delivery. That was difficult because we are in Canada! Toby, the landlord, delivered the two Sunday roast lunches to their home himself. My uncle left us a phone message yesterday telling us how surprised he was at the delivery and how wonderful the food was. He described in detail the massive amount of roast with all the trimmings. Thank you so much for making their day memorable! My uncle was so grateful. ♥ When we are in Kidlington next we will definitely stop in at the Six Bells. I highly recommend their food and service to anyone in Kidlington (or beyond).

Toby and his gang are a lovely group of people who put on a great Sunday roast. We received RAVE reviews from our 90 year old aunt and uncle in Kidlington when we set them up with a meal from Six Bells (we live in Canada.. Toby made this happen... he's a miracle worker!)

Had a fantastic Sunday roast, everything was home cooked and delicious with lovely gravy, the staff are really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, will definitely come again.

We stumbled across this country pub when staying close by. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They even allowed us to take some ice away when we were leaving to go back to our Air B&B. I’d definitely visit again if I was ever in the area!

The Sunday roast and the service in this pub is exceptional, I went at the start of the world cup and again last Sunday and the food is superb and great value for money and the service is quality where the staff make sure you have everything you require.

We have started to use six bells now there is new management and what a lovely place it is now made to feel welcome every time we visit with added bonus of their bar man Jack who is great fun such a lovely couple and a lovely pub

It's a pleasant pub with very nice garden. I wouldn't recommend food though. They claim to serve a homemade pizza but what I got was a cheap frozen base from a supermarket, and the top/ingredients didn't look appealing either.

Good neighbourhood pub with delicious food and a wide range of drinks. The host lady was very friendly and welcoming. She answered all our questions about the history of the pub. The portion sizes of the meals were rather large and food was delicious. Highly recommend it.

This is truly a lovely pub, a true local establishment frequented by locals and visitors alike. The food is excellent which is home cooked, carry out meals are available on Sundays consisting of choice of 4 meat options and vegan options, lots of room indoors for parties or sole customers. Large garden with canopied area, kids play area, aunt Sally. Come and see

Relaxed as always, on a Sunday afternoon. Love the little bar area, my 3 1/2 year old is almost old/big enough for the climbing frame unsupervised and they've got a new outdoor shelter which is really lovely.

Very positive experience, I was impressed by the service provided by staff, food is very delicious and not reheated, place is very tidy and I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Popped into the six bells on Saturday just to catch up with a friend. We arrived at 8pm and was planning just to have a drink and move on. The atmosphere was so good and the service was amazing we ended up staying until it closed . The guys behind the bar really made you feel welcome. The pub was very busy . I met some great people that evening and I'll definitely be going back. Thankyou to all at the six bells

Traditional pub located in a residential part of Kidlington. It's not exactly one of those unspoilt gems unchanged over many decades, but it retains the look and feel of a proper pub, with three separate rooms, some exposed stonework and a good local feel. There are usually three ales on offer, including at least one from a small local independent brewery - a tasty brew from Chadlington was on offer at the time of my visit. This is first and foremost a drinkers' pub, but they also do food. It's not the sort of place to come for that special meal; the food is certainly more functional eating than fine dining, but it's decent enough with a good sized straightforward menu, and it's reasonably priced. There is a good pubby feel about the place and a friendly welcome from staff.

Great afternoon celebrating a birthday with family. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef/landlord - it was all spot on and delicious. Lovely little local. Very cheap. Warm and cozy feeling to it. Huge garden for the summer and very good to follow guidelines. Dogs allowed on lead. Good pub grub. Haven't met the new owners yet but seems as though they want to keep things just as lovely as they were.

Cute little pub in the old part of Kidlington and I live just 10 minutes walk away. I was there on Sunday in glorious sunshine sat in their well kept garden which is well maintained mowed and no weeds. Would certainly recommend.

Great pub with a really welcoming atmosphere. The new landlord is serving up a delicious menu. The kids enjoyed the large enclosed garden and we could take the dog too. We loved it! (photos taken before the recent Covid rule of 6)

Really nice after-work drink. Open fire, friendly locals, good real ale on tap... The Sky Sports on the TV wasn't to our liking, but at least the volume was right down. We'll definitely come back and try the food 👍🏻
