My friend and I came here last Thursday night. It was a warm evening so we chose to sit in the garden. Gilt has a varied menu and we decided to share tapas. Great choice and they were delicious with a bottle of wine. There was guy singing and it made for a lovely evening.

This is a lovely restaurant and pub. The menu has something for everyone. A meeting on a Sunday is a rare occasion for us , but our clients loved it as did we. A definite recommendation going forward and visits from ourselves and Team. 10/10 Service. 10/10 Food 10/10 Bar 110% cost ! Thank you guys.

Cannot fault, great service, super food and all at a reasonable price. I would be happy to recommend this hidden gem to anyone who’s passing through or lives nearby.

Decided to have the cod and chips, had a cappuccino to drink. Overall quality of the food was good. The fish was excellent, could of done with more chips and less mushy peas. Would visit again if I return to Bingham.

We made an impromptu visit to this restaurant as walk-ins, not really expecting to be accommodated as there were 6 of us plus a pushchair. The staff were brilliant and quickly seated our party and remained attentive throughout. We were so excited to discover a Sunday roast dinner! and it did not disappoint, it was delicious and the perfect portion size. Altogether it was a lovely experience and we felt welcome by all the staff we came in to contact with. In our experience it’s difficult to find a decent roast dinner in a restaurant but this was spot on. Compliments to the chef! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Food was excellent but portion sizes can only at best be described as meagre. Staff were as little over attentive. Seats not comfortable.

Having had grandchildren all day (loved it but knackered!) and delivered them home we were starving. Called in on the off chance and it was grill night. What can I say…… great food, great drinks, great staff and great value. We will definitely be back soon but may put a bit of lippy on next time!

What should have been a lovely family meal was ruined by this restaurant. We were required to pre-book our meals and during this process I advised Gilt of my gluten and pea intolerances. On the morning of our reservation I had 2 conversations with a member of the Gilt staff, asking about my food intolerances. Brilliant! The gentleman checked my choices and discovered the non-vegetarian gravy was made using pea pods for flavour and so I would be given the vegetarian gravy instead. The remainder of my choices were gluten free options. Not so brilliant when the kitchen do not get the information passed on to them... I started to have mild food intolerance symptoms following my main course and asked the staff to check if the gravy I was served was non-vegetarian. No it wasn't! Several unwanted conversations later (I just wanted to enjoy a family meal), I was offered apologies and a refund of the price of my meal. I will never eat here again, it is too risky. I would advise anyone with a food allergy or food intolerance to avoid it like the plague. I thought I had covered every option to ensure I could eat a meal that would not make me feel ill, but I was wrong. I am just counting my blessings that I have intolerances and not allergies. Shame on you Gilt

This spot is a little gem of Bingham. We came tonight for live music and some food. Everything was excellent, and all the staff were happy and helpful. Big up for the manager in the pink shirt with black dots - very attentive and nice! That was our first visit after the opening but not the last one. Thank you!

We had our wedding reception and evening party at Gilt this weekend. Will, Jordan and the rest of the team were incredible. they went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly and nothing was a problem. Will made it completely stress free for us on the day. All of the the food was absolutely delicious. We couldn’t have wished for a better day and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gilt. Thank you so much x

Often come here with my family and its always a great experience, amazing food and the staff are very welcoming, attentative and always have 10/10 service, today we were served by Will and Emily both were amazing from the second we walked In, many thanks and will continue to go back here.

Visited on a Saturday Evening. It was very busy so would recommend booking a table. On this occasion only visited for Cocktails and can happily recommend the White Russians. Will visit again for a bite to eat

Came with a large party of ten, for 10:30am brunch. The venue looks swanky and was nicely laid out. Ordered quite quickly, and we were all chatting as the venue filled up. Drinks came relatively promptly, but after over an hour wait, we still didn't have our food. People had come in after us, ordered after us, been served their food, and had actually paid and left. Yet we still didn't have our food. Eventually, after the place had started to empty, we got our food. Over an hour is inexcusable for brunch. I appreciate we were a large table, but we had booked well in advance. I also get it is sometimes quicker to do a small table, before starting our order, but when you count the 5th table leaving after consuming their food (all of whom came in after us) it got to be a bit of a joke. The food was OK, but nothing special. Not once did anyone come over and update us or apologise. We had young children in our party and they were getting restless. If the venue had just let us know what the problem was, or just offered to do the kids' food, that would have been something. It got to the point where I was in the process of putting my coat on, to go to the co-op over the road to get some food for them. It was that bad. To be fair, they did take a round of coffee and teas off our bill, so that was something. That being said, if they had served us relatively promptly, we wouldn't have had those drinks anyway. Staff are very friendly. I think they were embarrassed, and that's why they left us alone.
