Made to feel very unwelcome immediately by the abrupt lady behind the bar. We didn't stay for a drink.

Grand job barmaid was a lovely girl

Yea not bad, people were friendly, winner stays on pool and it served scampi fries and ploughmans lunches

Friendly daytime locals. Lovely barmaid. Not expensive, nice pint and right next to the canal. Can't fault it so I will go back if I'm passing. 👌

Absolutely fantastic new management want to try new ideas the new dj nicky is incredible and i Absolutely loved my first ever time there.

Our favourite place to drink, have been coming here for years, always a friendly welcome and amazing staff. I know I could go in on my own and there would always be someone to chat too. They welcome kids and dogs to which is a bonus for us, brilliant service and a family atmosphere what more could you need. Keep up the good work xx

I have been drinking here on and off for over 40 years. Many of the customers have done also! It’s great to be able to meet up here and have a drink and a chat with my ‘old’ friends and to meet some of the new generations of customers. The pub itself has a long history, having been managed by The Cookson’s family for probably one hundred years or so. There have been several managers since and a few years ago Cookson’s almost came to the same fate as many other Pubs in the area! In these difficult times “Cookies” is still thankfully open, mainly due to the passion shown by the landlady Michelle and her fabulous team. Not to mention the loyal customers who support them and their beloved local. I Love this Pub and hope it can stay open for a long time to come. Had the function room and all the staff really looked after us so well. Food and drinks were great. Would highly recommend this pub and will visit more often in future.

Cookies bridge is our only local pub now. Called in last Friday. Great makeover good karaoke but very few in. Needs the locals to support more.

Great place to stop off while going for a trip along the canal or a walk through Rimrose Valley. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. They even provide the dogs with water if you ask.

Can't remember much about this place

Great place to go have a pint (of course I still can't cos I'm only 16) but it has been a local pub for me and my family since I was like 3 or 4 years of age, everyone is very nice including the staff, but due to me moving house we haven't been as much as we like but will have a special place in my heart and will hopefully be the first place I have a pint 😅

Was struggling in the heat on my bike along the canal, I'm diabetic and had low blood sugar, saw the pub and got a couple of cokes and a pint. Nice and relaxed with sound locals. Looks like the type of pub to have friendly banter. Loved it, even though I couldn't stay for very long. Chris.

Service was good, the staff were nice. This is a proper locals pub though, they were just being rude to us. No fault to the staff though, they were lovely

A bit of everything here for all tastes including veggie and vegan. Had the most delicious sweet potato and leek soup. Very welcoming and friendly staff to. Covid secure.

Sunday morning breakfast barms, freshly cooked, great price (£2.80) each, 2 rashers bacon, 2 sausage, 1 egg. Partner absolutely loved the locally made Biscotti cake, ate mine too! Friendly staff, good gab while waiting if you want! Do try, saves spending out on brekky stuff and making it yourself! Good luck to Cookie Crumb, will be back👍

Great pub! The staff here are fab and make you feel right at home. Had a delicious bowl of Scouse recently too as they’ve started doing food. The pub have adapted really well to COVID. It’s spotless and I felt super safe. Would always recommend a stop in here. A brilliant spot to watch the match too.

Love this pub... Has so much potential now with the refurb. Had some funny nights in here. Quiz on a Monday with boss buffet. Karaoke Friday and live band sat. Plenty of board games, bar games, cards, and darts available to play for a lazy afternoon. X Good variety of ale, spirits and snacks. Staff are all great and I love my lil local.xxx

New to the pub, owner welcomed us in a friendly manner and madevus feel comfortable (which sometimes isn't the case in clicky pubs) the customers were really nice, karaoke Friday nights live band on Saturday nights, really enjoyed our night and will be returning, thanks for a good night
