The worst chips I have ever tried in my life. They were rock hard and deffo been way over cooked.

Fish n Chips was very good. Only things to comment on was, I waited a long time for my food after I ordered. Also, if you want anything other than the usual Salt & Vinegar, you pay a lot for sauce satchets.

It's pretty bad, like the curry sauce can float it should be called a paste. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely awful, waited ten minutes for chips that had already been cooked sat in the warmer, they were definitely cooked FROZEN chips that had been over cooked and Luke warm avoid or waste £4.99 on large chips if you could call it large! If I could give a zero star rating I would.

Good food but use frozen chips 🍟

Service was really poor and slow. The fish and chips were by far the worst I have had over 45 years. I can only describe the fish as an overcooked piece of cardboard. Chip shop is convenient for the site, but there are far better alternatives in the area.

More like Crook's fish and chips! Crazy prices and one of the worse fish and chips I've had! Fish tasted horrid and not fresh at all. Chicken nuggets tasted like we're made out of cardboard. They didn't have any curry sauce or mushy peas. To make things worse ordered at 6:50 at the counter and food wasn't served until 7:40!! Staff didn't know what they were doing and people ended up taking food that wasn't theirs. Hopefully you've read this before ordering... Haven you need to sort this out!

Definitely 1 of the worst fish and chips place. chips are dry and untasty, chicken nuggets overcooked. 1 star is for delivery to caravan which also was late. ended up cooking in caravan as most of our ordered meal gone to bin

Came in Saturday evening the Food was great but the man on the till was very rude and abrupt he was trying to rush me through my order, and he was just slouched over the till not a good look for haven

Spent over £15 on 2 chips and some fish bites "OVEN CHIPS" where overcooked and dry ,fish was old cold in the middle which smelt really fishy definitely on the turn and the whole dinner smelt like it was cooked with old engine oil vile !! wouldnt feed that to a dog not a good look for haven park ...terrible!!! better chip shops out there people 5 mins from the park don't waste your money on this .

What chippy opens without half the stock available? No haddock, no mushy peas, no pasties... It's a holiday park chip shop, should be fully stocked! That being said I had a good laugh with the staff. But the curry sauce was horrible, fish tastless. Sausages were fine

We are family of five , all had a couple of bites and decided it wasn’t worth eating , we all threw the food to waste , Chips were dry which gave them no flavour All our portions of chips must of been 1 scoop of chips , just poor poor poor Worst chip shop out there I think , Food got delivered to our caravan in a dirty cleaning van used for the site Shame really… as would of ordered a lot more on our 7 day break but only ended up being the once

Awful food and overpriced. Hard, tasteless chips. Not made fresh - deep fried frozen oven chips. Battered sausage was soggy. £3.50 for a sausage in batter - everything is overpriced and disappointing. Honestly, the worst chips we have ever eaten

Awful chips, how they cook them so badly I'll never understand. Half of them went in the bin! Wife ordered scampi and received chicken nuggets, couldn't even get that right! What she couldn't understand was they used McCain frozen chips and they were cooked fresh but they were badly overdone so either they were cooked far too long or the oil needs replacing! Disgusting, avoid the chippy and use ottamans kebab House just outside the park entrance or the chippy just a bit further out (not tried that chippy but can't be as bad as this one)

Let’s picture the events. The cold winds rushed through the trees as the rain thundered against the glass. We sat in the living room after what seemed a lifetime in the car. Fish and chips seemed to be the answer to the age old question. 4:00pm delivery made, stress relieved and the evening had begun. 5:40 we started our preparations. Willing to brave the elements that lay waiting, we embarked on our journey. The winds whirled as the light diminished. As we entered, we were greeted by a small queue but a wealth of staff. Then as we waited patiently and calmly the line started to grow. This no longer existed as merely a line but had become something monstrous. We quickly realised that as the line increased the staffs speed decreased. A paradox. Were we ever going to be served? The doors barely held shut as the abundance of people almost spilled out like the eruption of mount Vesuvius. Did we give up? No. We remained, we stayed and we guarded the door. 30 minutes past, we continued our watch like a lighthouse on a rocky shore. 45 minutes past, the light had become weaker and had started to sizzle out yet we remained. 1 hour later and our watch was over. Finally we had received our reward for a long wait. Yet, as we sat down after returning from our venture. Even after we had challenged the elements of Mother Earth. Even after we had guarded the door like Cerbus guards the underworld. They gave us curry sauce rather than gravy. Piss take.

Disgusting! Sent my husband for some chips at 8:15pm. Expecting real chips you'd normally be given from a chip shop, we were given oven chips. Didn't taste nice, very soggy. Will not be recommending or ordering from here again. Literally money thrown down the drain.

Personally, I think this is an absolute violation against British culture. Chips are dry as of the desert curry sauce was lumpier, then a stew us to you portion, sizing, dreadful Finley trying to make honestly, I would rather die

Disgusting, watched one of the guys take a cooked sausage out of the heat cabinet and throw it in batter and fry it as a battered sausage, came out cremated, scampi had been sat in heat cabinet too long and looked grey and smelled awful, most of it ended up in the bin, maybe they should spend less time mouthing off to each other and focus on cooking the food

Absolutely disgusting, one order in front of mine,for for only 3 people, our order was 3 portions of chips 🍟 Started to serve my order only enough for 2 portions left them on top waited another 6 minutes for the third portion, I said they should have been served together 🫣 Got back to the caravan, they were overcooked on the outside and full of grease,dry and uncooked inside. So annoyed £3:49 a portion, 3 serving, I waited half an hour for my order, 10 people behind me lucky if they get theirs in an hour and Would have been quicker,cheaper and more edible 😋 if I had gone to the Marlborough in Weymouth Town. Which is where I am going tomorrow

As others have said awful, cooked(murdered)in Palm Oil just about the worst oil you could use.. Tasted like the oil had not been changed this season. Do not eat anything from this establishment.

Very over priced, spongy batter won't bother again

We were there tonight and our experience was very poor of the service and quality of the food and the couldn't give a dam attitude of the people. It is a pity that it has gone hill since we were here last year.

Small portions, very overpriced. Fish smaller than your small finger, and service is awful.. They have one mode SLOW. My advice go offsite for your chip supper. To be told after waiting an hour for food.. That somebody didn't take responsibility for it... Shocking

Raw chips and fish for lots of money. The bloke serving slumped over the counter staring at the customers scoffing down his fish and chips while we all waited for ours

Zero urgency, rude and slow. Order was forgotten and still took 20 minutes to prepare after they were notified.

Gave cold curry sauce and paid for mushy peas but left out. The fish was thin. Both chips and fish tasted awful like they were over cooked or cooked again from previous day. Told manager don’t come in to make complaint. Very expensive for what we got. Total waste of money.

As per other reviews, very expensive at £8 for a tiny piece of cod barely larger than a fish finger. Chips were dry and barely edible without drowning them in ketchup, only saving grace was that they didn’t charge for sauces. Service good from young lads but ingredients clearly lacking, not good! Gave us all an upset belly.

Amazing food. The fishcakes are the best I have ever eaten. Staying at Haven Seaview . Can't wait for dinner this evening. Husband has promised more of the same. What a fantastic place. X.

Impressive service BUT takeaway is not worth it. Worse packaging ever. When i opened the kids boxes as well as my package after reaching the caravan 2 mins later, the fish had reduced to a pulp. Same with kids cod bites. Ended up eating mushy fish!!

The worst chip shop I have ever been too. The chips are dry frozen oven chips, battered sausage was awful, pie was horrible, gravy was basically just water, didn’t give us the drinks we ordered, and they got our order wrong. We had regular fish and large chips for £13, abit over priced ,chips are frozen and the fish batter was raw inside, but fish was ok. Friendly staff and good service.

The most expensive chip shop I have ever been too.. Then you taste the food, dry oven chips, soggy batter on the fish. They must be cooking things in the oven of the kitchen behind. There are so many chip shops around that area so do yourselves a favour and go save yourselves some money and have an enjoyable feast locally. Awful!!

Vile chips can only describe as tasting like cardboard, battered sausage well who knows what it was but went in the bin. Would not recommend this place, there’s a nice one just outside the park or if you want the best go to Bennett’s in Weymouth town 😍

Terrible chips, cooked from frozen, small fish, way overpriced, get better in Weymouth don't waste your money!! £3 for a measly tray of frozen chips.

Discusting waited over 55 mins for my order which they got wrong . Food was horrible had to ask for it to be repackaged as they placed a pot of open curry sauce in the bag with was paper so was leaking through I was in the shop when this happened paid over £60 for this order . Will never go in again for food from them . Since this chip shop opened . It was better before me and my family holiday more than once a year at littlesea and the chippy use to be better before the shop got bigger .

I love this caravan site so can't hate this chip and fish shop to much but the prices are ridiculous for frozen chips it was nice but I'd had quite a few pints lol probably wouldn't go again regarding the prices ! But love little sea ! Can't wait to return

1 star as the food was hot, worst meal iv ever had and to have paid 16.00 for chips, 1 pie and 1 fish was on the high side. No sides available at all. Fish was small for the price and not tasty. Would not be having cooks Ever again

I didn’t enjoy this chippy, it had really dry chips/fries. I really don’t recommend unless your really hungry and can’t wait for anywhere else.

Save your time and money and go off site and get proper fish and chips this place does oven chips and fries them nice and dry jumbo battered sausage was black and batter was crispy the only plus was it was hot and they give you loads of tissues to wipe your greasy hands

Delicious fish and chips!!! Absolutely gutted I won't be eating it again any time soon. Every time we ate from here the food was cooked perfectly. The only negative was the bread roll, really dry and full of flour. Change the bread roll to a crusty roll and you will be ELITE.

Awful only chippy I've been to that serves fried oven chip. Pasty was rock hard and cold in middle and very pale. Chips were so dry they were inedible. Cod was nice but batter pale and soggy and doughy on inside.

We came to the haven site for a weeks holiday and we expected the fish and chips shop to be decent. We went there for food after having a long day and we just wanted to eat. We ordered 3 regular fish and it came with 2 regular fish and one very small fish and was told it was measured by weight. Also we orders a kids cod meal and it didn’t come at all. Me and my grand daughter had to walk down a second time to tell them that they missed out my youngest grand daughters meal. They just gave us a tray that was left on top. It ended up being just chips!! As an asmathic I wasn’t able to go down a third time so I had to send my grand daughter down. All they did was apologise and gave us a fresh meal with extra cod in it and told us they were sorry for any inconvenience!! Of course there was an inconvenience. The rest of my family had to wait a good 15-20 minutes to eat all because they didn’t add my granddaughters meal in!! We had to heat up the rest of our food. Not impressed that the chips were also just frozen chips!! Also very expensive just for food from the shops that they just cooked. If you want a decent meal and good customer service I would go somewhere else if I were you!!

Thought it would be nice as it is a haven site but thought wrong. We went there the 1st time and I asked for nothing on the chips and they put salt on them. Then when we went a second time and it was disappointing. We ordered a kids cod meal and 3 cods and the 1 cod was very small compared to the others and the kids meal didn't didn't come. Went back and they just gave us chips. So I went back down for a 3rd time and told them I wanted my kids meal and they just gave me a fresh meal with extra cod bites. Nice meal but not very good customer service.

So dissapointed! We went here thinking it would be lovely, fresh cooked, traditional fish and chips but we got freshly cooked out of the oven iceland food!! Costing an arm and a leg didnt even see them use the fryers...we go to the one down the road now lol

Literally just had cod and chips and battered sausage and chips, although we were the only customers the food was in edible. Batter on the cod was soggy and only half cooked as for the chips soggy outside and raw in the middle. Only saving grace was the sausage and the food was hot. Extremely disappointing for the money

Had dinner here one night whilst away. The food was freshly prepared and all of a good quality. My only 2 gripes were the price as a little expensive, and the chips were frozen chips so a little disappointed they weren't proper chips.

Very nice food, not badly priced for being on a camp site! Only reason a 4 not 5 is due to batter on my sausage (but its more matter of opinion & preference!)

We had fish & Chips from here when we stayed on site Me the Mrs & a 2year old so i got 2Large cod & 2large chips !! there was so much food !!! & it tasted great !! I would GLADLY eat here again
