Combat Cod and Chippy in Wiltshire

Took advantage of the delivery option.Chips were not good,,a lot of dried out chips...the cod in batter was dried out too and the batter rock hard.wont be ordering again.

Worst Fish & Chips in the country. Learn how to cook! Chips hard, Fish small and soggy, fried in some strange oil. Terrible.

Purchased 2x cod and chips curry sauce and mushy peas . It was I'm afraid dire ,dont know what its fried in but not good .The fish batter was limp and horrible .my wife and i sat down to enloy our meal after a few minutes we looked at each other and decided we didn't fancy it .I was recently in wales and had fish and chips it was beautiful done properly. Wont be going here again

First time trying this chippy and it’ll be the last. The chips were fine but the sausages were like corned beef in a sausage, definitely not traditional chippy sausages. Nothing worse than getting a take away and chucking it in the bin. Good delivery time.

1st time I have visited, Ordered sausage, chips and curry sauce. The chips were over cooked and lots were burnt. The sausage was tough and obviously not Fresh. Shocking standard of food from a fish and chip shop. These types of businesses would go bust outside a garrison town.

1st time i used them and not disappointed arrived just as they opened so had to wait a little but all cooked fresh and portion size good. The small fish was of good size and think and cooked in lovely batter.the chips were also non greasy. Shall certainly add this to my list of useful takeaways.

Friendly Turkish welcome, competent service, didn't have to wait long, excellent fish, well cooked chips

Absolutely amazing place to eat with a good variety of food and the chips are never soggy or greasy, they also cook burgers and veggie burgers for vegetarians too. If you wanna have a good time go to this restaurant

Really good fish and chips, generous portions! Chips are never greasy and fish lovely and crispy. A favourite chippy for us.
