Awesome place for people watching on Park Street with excellent coffee. Beautifully decorated and cracking selection of coffee. They also have a lot of fresh baked goods including a spanakopita and pastel de nata.

I went there after my graduation for a coffee, although it was the first time for me being there. The coffee was probably the best specialty coffee in bristol, it had a great atmosphere and nice chill vibes with jazz music on the background and the guys there were very friendly willing to make your drink with passion. Lovely and lovely coffee shop on Park street with fab coffee and good pastries (although a slightly limited selection). I had a custard tart which they warmed for me that was good. 2 coffees and a tart came to £10ish, and they brought it to me when I sat. I would definitely visit again if in the area. Only point to note is that it can get loud when busy, but there is a small seating area so it encourages people to linger and generally clears quickly. Lady made me a coffee, however as I collected it she was trying to put a dirty lid on the cups. When I asked her not to put it on she became very aggressive and started to argue in the middle of the shop saying they were not dirty when they were clearly covered in dust and had not been stored properly. The dirty lid was not to big a deal, but the rudeness of the lady was completely uncalled for and unacceptable behaviour. After I left the shop I tried the coffee. the coffee quality was extremely poor for this place compared to usual. (I have visited Bristol and Reading several times each, and this was no way near their usual standard) Coffee was massively under extracted, tasted thin and sour. It was £5 for a filter coffee, so far more expensive than other, much better specialty coffee shops in Bristol and certainly not worth it for a cup of coffee which wasn’t up to a standard which could be served. Took coffee back to ask for a refund. Woman then became fully verbally abusive in the shop, in front of all her customers!! I have never been talked to like this is a shop before, and would never expect this behaviour off someone claiming to be the owner. I won’t be going back & I highly recommend trying one of the other, better coffee shops in town which has friendly polite staff.

Cute spot with lovely big windows, perfect for a sunny day. Also has sockets available for people studying. I got an oat latte and the coffee blend was lovely, quite light but very nutty. However, I don’t understand using takeaway cups for people sitting inside? It feels very lazy, especially as the cups aren’t even made out of recycled material. Additionally, I wanted to get a pastry but half of the croissants were on display burnt? Interesting experience that’s for sure, probably won’t go back unless they stop using takeaway cups.

The one star dosnt reflect the quality of coffee or the staff. Both of which were really excellent. But I can't give a cafe that serves in paper cups more than 1*!! I took my own cup and was given a 10p discount which better than nothing but 10p dosnt go exactly far in today's economy. Maybe offer a bigger discount to encourage people to use their own? There a lot of other low ratings from the cafe about using single use, even when sitting in. I think it is also ironic that you have Boston Tea Party across the road which don't serve take away cups but offer a scheme to bring back and reuse. I would really love to try one of your pour over speciality coffee, as a big coffee lover I love seeing places offering v60. But I am never going to pay £5 to drink out of a paper cup! There is something quite special about sitting down and drinking good quality coffee out of glass or ceramics. Please can you start doing the washing up and I would love to come back!
