Great drinks, food and service! We popped in for lunch, didn’t book but were very welcome. Had a drink by the bar where our order was taken and then taken to our table. We had the set menu - all delicious!

Met a friend for dinner in this lovely pub. One area is for afternoon tea and the other laid for dinner. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks , which came quickly. We both chose the carvery. The choice of meat was turkey, beef or pork with stuffing and sausages, which were served. We helped ourselves to roast potatoes, roast parsnips, braised red cabbage, huge homemade Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli and cabbage, stuffing balls and gravy. A range of sauces completed the meal. Cranberry goes so well with turkey! Everything was cooked beautifully and really tasty and hot. Excellent value at £16.95. This is available every day too! The restaurant has a lovely relaxed feel to it, with comfy seating. Staff were welcoming and friendly. There is a good menu too but we came for the carvery as my friend had been before so didn’t really look at it! Definitely coming back😏

I was kept informed about the delay. The food was hot and delicious when it arrived.

This pub is run by friendly people. We had a very nice lunch here. My son ordered 3 small plates for his lunch and couldn't believe how big the portions were. We had to help him out and he's an adult! I had a tasty wrap with which I was able to have salad instead of chips but I had some of my husband's chips and they were lovely. Our lunch was very reasonably priced and included a drink. Not fine dining by any means, just a decent, friendly pub with reasonably priced food.

Really disappointing experience. We came for the Sunday lunch and the food was undercooked- the chef seemed to be coming out and telling people that it was the quickest service of his life- seems strange to me to admit that you rushed everyone’s food and then make them pay the same prices. The gravy was watery, the carrots and parsnips were raw and the potatoes were oily. I understand having bad days but it is unacceptable to charge the same prices when you are aware the quality is bad. There are far better places In Cambridgeshire to go for a roast- especially considering this one cost £20 for a single plate of food!!
