It didn't seem welcoming and was outdated, seemed to lack some tlc, such a shame as Llanberis is a tourist attraction and has many visitors

Once again came back for the All day breakfast the chef always cooks a good breakfast 100% recommended

Red velvet cake had mould on was not fresh , did refund me £4.95 without any issue. Sadly did not take a photo should have done

Small menu, big portions, well cooked and presented. It's part of a shop and access is via the side road not the main road. Signage could be better but it's not hard to find

Normally go to petes eats was saddened when I realised it wasn’t open anymore after just walked down Snowdon. Got the coffee pot recommended for breakfast once arrived very welcoming had a massive breakfast with coffee included!! Didn’t wait long at all even had a lovely victory sponge cake to take away with me. I will be telling my family and friends about this place once I’m home definitely will be coming back on Sunday before I leave. Also has a little shop next door to look round while waiting for food.

Outings with the family always stopping by to the coffee pot lovely staff, normally have the large breakfast, we decided to go for the Jacket Potatoes cheese and beans the kids had a Snowdon burger. Will be back in couple weeks for the Snowdon marathon can’t wait!

The coffee pot When we sat down the window sill had dead flies on it and cobwebs. Th floor was dirty with food debris and litter. The gents toilet had one toilet out of order the other one had a broken urinal with a bucket under to catch the urine It had an odour of urine We had one coffee and one tea and a piece of cake each at a cost of £16.20 a rip off. Only that we had paid upfront we would have walked out. I think it needs a visit from the health and hygiene dept.

Lovely lunch. Staff very informative about local area. Area is very quiet at the moment so be sure to support local businesses.

Perfect spot ideal for going to the lagoons straight after brunch. Definitely recommend the all day breakfast

Parked up in absolutely torrential rain in the carpark opposite, having seen a lovely welcoming sign saying "Open" "Croeso!". In the three minutes it takes to cross the road, we got soaked - only to find that the place was shut. Thank you so much for wasting our time!

I visited Llanberis yesterday on the day before Snowdon Marathon. Called into Coffee pot for Breakfast and enjoyed a very tasty, well presented breakfast including toast and a pot of tea. Good Value for money

Came into the coffee pot after seeing petes was closed wanting a breakfast at 1pm cafe was busy but still got my breakfast quickly good value for money swapped my coffee for a cab great service. Would 100% recommend the go large breakfast served till 3! Which is good as I’m a late starter.

Avoid this cafe, we waited one hour for 3 paninis and a bowl of chips. We were surrounded by dirty plates waiting to be cleared. No napkins given, bin in wc were overflowing. Dirty and unloved.

This is a lovely cafe, welcoming and friendly. Initially went in for a hot chocolate which was very tasty. Then family joined me with the dog. Cafe welcomed the dog and provided water for him. The Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with localish produce. Staff were helpful . Well recommend if visiting Snowdonia.

Called in after a lovely drive through the mountains. This place has changed a lot since our last visit. Lovely big red gazebo out on the patio with tables in the autumn sun. We chose to eat inside. Definitely worth trying the specials. Service was very good and the place was spotless. Tip: they are dog friendly!

Visited this morning for breakfast. The stale greasy smell as we entered should have been a warning but we were hungry so stayed. Food was OK but the place did not look as if it had been cleaned in a while. Old food was on the floor, the table and condiments were smeared and grimy from past customers.

Sad to say that our visit today was disappointing , I suppose the lack of other diners should have been a bit of a warning. Food from previous visitors still on the floor under the tables and the cutlery when it arrived might have benefited...

Loved the gift shop it was a rainy Sunday we thought we would pop into the cafe and was overwhelmed by the delicious roast dinner and my fiancee was raving about the delicious vegan lentil shepherd's pie great food and back in llanberis this September...

The food was very nice we got vegetable lasagne. The customer service was lovely. Shame we didn’t have room for cake as they looked yummy. It was busy too, so you know they’re good.

Located just across the road from Electric mountain, great home cooked food friendly staff. Nothing more to say.

Pleasant member of staff who was so apologetic but waiting 40 minutes to be served 5 coffees and 4 Welsh cakes was silly. Management should be ashamed of themselves. Welsh cakes were very nice but not worth the wait. I'd suggest going to one of the other coffee shops instead unless there is no queue.

Firstly let me say I feel every sympathy for the very pleasant but clearly harassed lady serving, preparing drinks and physically taking orders to the kitchen.

After a day out on a bank-holiday weekend, we decided to go to the coffee pot to have dinner. First impressions were good, walking past some mouth watering desserts and smiling staff convinced us to stay.

We had coffee and cakes, during an afternoon stop. The cafe is clean and serves good food at reasonable prices. It looks like they had a good selection of hot food too but we never tried it.

We were cold, wet and weary touring around snowdonia on motorbikes while hurrican Hannah was on, pure madness, but stopped here to drink yummy hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows, hot saurage rolls, cake and Welsh cake. We arrived just in time and didnt feel like we shouldn't be there, staff were friendly and we were warmed up, ready to head out once more into the freezing rain. lol

Arrived in Llanberis for the Electric mountain tour. Found this place across the road as we wanted a meal before our visit and we were early. Food was great, freshly made not like the usual microwave stuff. Got free parking because we spent over £10 saving us £5! After going on the Electric Mountain experience which was amazing - James Bond stuff inside a mountain, we returned for a coffee cake.

After standing there 5 mins with 2 staff right in front of me one polishing spoons the other the coffee machine I asked if I was standing in the right place to be served to which I was ignored again walked out there loss family of 6 probably a £50 order you lost. This is just on A4086 opposite electric mountain. We had been taking photographs of the views on Lyn Padang and this was ideal to refuel our batteries with a lovely coffee and a slice of cake. The staff are really friendly the coffee and hot chocolate is lovely and a proper slice of cake. A must visit if you are in the area. Also don’t miss the arts and craft shop attached the coffee pot.

Ideal for a nice home cooked meal - many visits - always made to feel welcome - top quality food and drinks in a lovely area - its that good we visit it frequently, free parking if you have a meal - top knotch A +++++++++++++

We had just done one of the last tours at Electric Mountain, and as we wanted a drink and snack crossed over the road to go here.

We had a terrible time finding something hot to eat when it wasn't lunchtime and not yet time for dinner on a Saturday, so it was quite a relief to find this spot offering anything on the menu at mid-afternoon. And the food was GREAT - we had a group with very different appetites, and everyone got exactly what they wanted (from a scone & coffee to a full hot meal). The service was friendly and the wifi was free - NICE.

Nice cafe however not wheelchair friendly. Difficult to enter , no disabled toilet . Could not get into gents toilet due to door Told to use ladies but not much better

The selection of food was good with various things like soup, jacket potatoes, burgers, paninis and sandwiches. The selection of cakes was vast too.

A simple and straightforward cafe for a quick lunch. Standard food, that was cooked well and tastes good. The added bonus being we got free parking all day as we spent over £10. Good for families for breakfast or lunch. Would recommend if asked.

Delicious well prepared and reasonably priced food all served by friendly staff. Art and Craft shop plus cafe are dog friendly. Very welcoming and a credit to Llanberis tourism.

Food was good and tasty although the roast dinner had been microwaved.

Based on the reviews on here we went for hot drinks and cakes after a visit to the slate museum.

We stopped by after visiting the Electric Mountain power station. The service was fantastic although I was a little disappointed we payed for frozen fish and chips. My son's all day breakfast and daughter's bacon and cheese panini was freshly made and really tasty by all accounts. I also thought the soft drinks were also extortionately over priced at £2 each! The cafe was extremely clean and the staff were cleaning up very quickly but as I said previously the overall experience was let down by the fact my fish and chips wasn't freshly prepared.

Visited recently for lunch for a generally disappointing experience. The cafe was half-full when we arrived, as expected for the summer season in Llanberis, though staff clearly struggled and so the service was generally chaotic. Ordered two light lunches and had a 45 mins wait for food and no warning when ordering that there would be a long wait for food.

Reluctant to accept I had been overcharged, albeit £1.15. Waitress back and forth between me and the supervisor arguing the toss. When I put this on their Facebook page they called me a liar and threatened me with the police denying I had been there at all, saying I was hiding behind a keyboard. Disappointing food, part of which was inedible. Felt like a tourist “anything will do”.

Needed refreshment and a solid meal. Found this without travelling too far. Excellent service and polite chatty staff. The food was good , nicely prepared and cooked. Also a lovely selection of cakes. Good coffee and tea. Really cannot fault it. Many thanks.

The staff was very unpleasant and i heard the cook shouting at her staff which made it an unfriendly atmosphere, The staff look very uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed our freshly cooked bacon sandwiches, served with a small side salad. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Not the best coffee but I would definitely recommend the Coffe Pot.

Not the first time we have visited this place and I hope it won't be the last. Lovely food delivered by lovely people in a lovely atmosphere. But then again, it's North Wales. What would you expect? ;-)

We stopped at this place for a coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. Service with a smile. Clean environment. Located conveniently just across the lake and the mountain railway station. Recommended.

On a recent Wednesday afternoon, Hubby and I had just come out of the Electric Mountain Visitor Centre when we noticed this one-storey building across the other side of the road. We both appreciate arts & crafts. When we went inside the shop, it smelled a bit musty. There were 2 containers on the floor catching drips from a leaking roof. We didn't buy anything. We aren't tourists so nothing really appealed to us. We didn't visit the adjoining Cafe.

From coffee to soup and cakes. Very nice staff. Atmosphere and decoration too. The only good coffee I have drunk in the UK.

We visited this café today for a light lunch, I ordered mushroom soup and a hot chocolate and my husband ordered broccoli and stilton soup and a cup of tea. The café wasn't overly busy but there were a few other people turned up just after us. After a 30 min wait and still no drinks our soup turned up but we were given 2 broccoli and stilton instead of one of the mushroom. There were only 2 staff on duty and one of those was pulled from the shop. Because of this the shop was closed and people were turned away. When my soup arrived it was like something dredged from the drain and my husbands was like dishwater. To make things worse the drinks finally arrived and the hot chocolate was missing any sign of chocolate! Other diners were getting extremely agitated at the chaos and the long wait and some even got up and walked out, we definitely wont be going again or recommending this place to any friends. I would add that although very stressed the 2 ladies serving were very polite and apologetic, just very badly organised.

Stopped here for a drink before our trip on Snowdon Railway, bought coffees and planned to pay £4 to park all day in their car park. (£8 if you park opposite the railway!) After paying for all our drinks we were told we could park free because we had spent more than £10! All the staff were pleasant, happy to talk and very helpful. The coffees were good too!

Yes it could look better, yes it looks dated and yes its a cafe BUT thats where the negativity should stop. Its good old fashioned food cooked well and at a great price. Easy to park and clean, oh yes and warm.

Looks like it hasn't changed much in a quite a few years but that didn't stop the breakfast, coffee, tea and cake being really good. Just what we needed before starting out explorations of Llanberis.

Local ( welsh ) gifts, and food all under 1 roof. Asmall car park where you can park all day ( cost £ 4 ) if you want to do the Snowdon Railway. About a 5 - 10 minute stroll to the entrance for the Railway. The Coffee Pot ( food side of the building ) does get extremely busy so be prepared to wait a few minutes or more for food.

As mentioned before within some of my reviews, with a coeliac in the family eating out can be problematic. The Coffee pot were great having GF options available to order. There is nothing fancy here but courteous, friendly, accommodating staff make it a pleasant visit. The food as some have mentioned in other reviews can be slow to arrive but everything is prepared fresh and for that we are willing to wait. It is attached to a very large gift shop which is not great as the wife spent a fortune! Also as parking can be expensive in and around Llanberis you can park for free within the Coffee Pots car park if you have spent over £10. on food, making it even greater value.

Me and my partner came into the café for some tea, and we felt like we were being ignored whilst stood at the counter waiting to be served. The two servers were looking lost, and we almost left to go elsewhere but after a couple more minutes of waiting we got served, but even though we only asked for 2 teas we waited a very long time for it. The café was not even busy at the time we were there, so I am not even sure what was going on but I did not feel welcome after this.

Had a very pleasant trip to Llanberis which has some great attractions. Stopped at the coffee pot after a recommendation from friends. Food was great and staff are very helpful. Called in the big shop next door and had a great choice of shopping for gifts. A real gem and we will be back!

We were on holiday in Wales, and had a day in Llanberis. We had just been to see the Electric Mountain, and crossed over the road to the Coffee Pot at Llanberis Art & Craft. We had a Very nice Sandwich & a Drink, then went into the Gift Shop for the Art & Craft. A wonderful range of Gifts, with a range of Prices.

We had lunch while we waited for our granddaughter to climb Snowdon .a good choice of food quick service although they were busy ,and they gave us a free car park pass as we had eaten there car parking is expensive in the town so it very helpful to be able to park free for the day

Stopped in for lunch after going to Electric Mountain as thought it looked nice and we were staying in Llanberis. Unfortunately other people had the same idea so with a lot of people coming in at once they were flustered as only one member of staff behind counter taking orders and also serving people! They had to close the craft shop next door so staff could come and help - therefore if you wanted to visit in there it was locked (we did after eating - so went off as it was closed) surely they are loosing business. No prawns for sandwich so had cheese. Due to influx of people had to wait about 15 minutes to getting sandwiches which were nice, although the coffee was a tiny size cup. Shame really as both this coffee shop and craft shop look really nice and inviting. As this is May, surely part of the 'summer' season and should be raking the money in.

Called in today, whilst debating whether to walk up Snowdon. Main car park opposite only took change no cards but coffee pot has its own car park so we parked up and had very good coffees and then saw we could park there for same price. Came back later after Snowdon and had another cuppa, also very good

Interesting visit, lots to see, great cafe and shop, Great for children, lots for them to do and see.

So after we had had such a great meal last year we decided to return, we checked the website to see if it was open and it said it was open from 10 until 9pm. We travelled over a good hours drive only to find it closed! We unstand its out of season but p!ease update your website!!

Called in here for morning coffee ahead of our steam train trip up Snowdon. Large car park. Seems as if this is a stop for coach parties during the height of the season. Fairly quiet when we visited with hardly any visitors in the craft shop.

This is off the beaten path but well with the look. One of the best parts of the experience is a great gift shop that is attached. Spend some time in the shop an then take a coffee break.

Called in for coffee. The coffee and scone were fine, but the surroundings, although sparkling clean is a little dated. The lunch menu is a regular one with baked potatoes and sandwiches etc.

We were served by a nice friendly young lady but the food was not good. If I pay £8 for a breakfast I would expect it to be good quality and tasty. I wouldn't visit again.

We called in as we have been here before and it was excellent. This visit was no exception and we were delighted with the food. The service as previously was excellent but what struck us was how attentive the staff were to some elderly locals that had called in. It was great to witness such kindness. The locals clearly rate the place as they were regulars. It's a gem and comes highly recommended.

Brought a group to Llanberis for lunch.Suggested the Coffee Pot.Turned up 10 minutes later to chaos.Wrong food provided to my people; I stood for 10 minutes with no service, not even an acknowledgement that I was there.Walked out and found somewhere else.Won't be suggesting the Coffee Pot on future visits.

We went in for tea and cake I had a scone which was not fresh put in the microwave to disguise the fact a cold apple pie with horrible squirty cream. expensive for what it was not a lot of choice and not a friendly smile in site
