It was raining cold and so I needed some shelter and warmth before continuing my journey going home. It was nearly closing but the waiter was so kind and took my order (only tea/coffee available at the counter). He also gave me sometime to sit for a little while before closing. 😽

This was a nice and friendly place until a couple of months ago. Lately is always unkempt, most of the time there is only one barista, and you can feel the struggle this poor human is dealing with. He/she is dealing with any customers queries. From taking the order at the till, taking payments, doing coffees, toasting sandwichs and many more. Last time l went, the poor barista, had her hands shaking. What the management is doing here? The place is clearly understaffed! I can't queue forever for a coffee. Not coming back.

Socket is not working in the whole shop. The staff is like dreaming . coffee is soso. Never again and keep avoid this coffee shop as far as you can.

If you are in a hurry, don't come in. It took them more than 1 hour to serve us breakfast after we complained several times.

Rude service. Couldn’t warm up a croissant and served tea so hot I couldn’t drink it for almost 20 minutes. This is a skip.

The Irish tea was really nice, and the atmosphere was really nice.

I don’t usually write reviews but as a waiter I was disgusted. The first thing I see when I walk in was one of the employees slouched on the counter top on his phone while the girl was working. As I ordered my coffee I noticed the place was filthy. Dirty cups on the floor, crumbs every where and milk container empty on the counter. If I knew I would’ve not have ordered. Including that one of the guests asked for paper towels to clean the table. When I got my coffee it was warm almost cold. So I asked to reheat it. I obviously will not be returning because the place was dirty.

My “regular” latte came in a cup taller than my phone - 10oz. And full of sugar! “Dine in” is a paper cup all the same. For a place taking pride in its coffee this is a total joke.

What a bad place! I came yesterday with a client and service was awful, the woman that served us yesterday barely speaks English and listens to what we ask. I asked for a receipt to get it expensed and they said they are not even able to produce a receipt. What place on earth can’t give you a receipt when you order??

Coffee was good but took long. They made our orders twice because they messed up. Took way longer than expected, hopefully they can make things better and faster

Staff were not very polite. No atmosphere and really poor food and drink selection. Not too expensive given its proximity to Trafalgar Square

Colombian coffee have a lovely profile, why a blend? Cappuccino is dark roast btw.

They're friendly and everything is good, but they basically mix syrup with the iced Americano... I didn't even do it. I was surprised while drinking it😢😢

luckily came across coffee by Real Eating Co and they served our orders in so quickly. Their shop is very cute and the shop walls talks about how their business started and how they are taking up a truly sustainable approach to run a business..

Best coffee I've had so far for this price! £3.30 for a flat white, and if you go before 9am you get regular coffees for £2.60, or large ones for £3. Considering the location, I don't think you can get cheaper coffee than this, at least not good coffee.

I met a friend there for a coffee. It was a good service and good location, opposite CX train station. I ordered a cinnamon bun,but I thought it would have been baked for long, as it was a bit uncooked in the middle.

As a local that barely knows the tourists areas, this shop saved me and my mate from the heat and offered one of the best peach Iced tea I’ve drunk.

The female staff member who served me was so rude and the coffees and food are overpriced! I will not be back.

Take away or eat in café. Sandwiches and cake are available as is a selection of cakes. Hot and cold drinks, good selection.

We came at ~7pm, maps says they close at 21:00 but after 10 minutes we were told they close soon. The toilet was not working.

Staff were very kind but the table and chairs were dirty and full of rubbish. We had to clean the table to sit down.

the vanilla latte is the best I’ve tried, can’t tell if it’s that due to the syrup, coffee beans or both.. every other place pales in comparison. Staff are always welcoming and greet with a smile!

Ordered a black decaf coffee and a flat white decaf coffee and the flavour was excellent. We would definitely recommend.

Coffee by Real Eating Co. is located very close to the Trafalgar Square. This coffee shop is very dear to me as the manager was so soft spoken. It was on 26th December, the streets were so busy and by the evening most of the shops had closed down and me and my friend were looking for hot chocolate and coffee. We tried our luck with so many cafes but most of them were closing down. We luckily came across coffee by Real Eating Co and they served our orders in so quickly. Their shop is very cute and the shop walls talks about how their business started and how they are taking up a truly sustainable approach to run a business.. Do drop by their shop for a sip of coffee when around Trafalgar square. I am sure you will love their coffee and people around you. Do get their loyalty card to get the 9th barista drink for free.

Finally somewhere with a choice of hot chocolates. We ordered a dark hot chocolate and a milk hot chocolate - both tasted fab.

Charged twice for one coffee!!! Shocking customer service! Emailed them but never got a reply… Do yourself a favour and go to any other coffee shop in London… given the quality of the drink isn’t the best either…

Literally the smoothest latte you can ask for served in a delightful atmosphere. We went their daily for our morning coffee. Highly recommend!

A lovely place to get a drink and a quick snack.

They made me a perfect latte with oat milk and their eats are delicious. I loved my carrot cake and their croissants are light, fluffy and tasty.

Literally the best cinnamon bun you will ever eat in your life! My girlfriend told me for the past 10 weeks to go there. Now that I am finally back in London I went to the place and holy sh*t it is soooo good!!!

Decent coffee and delicious pastries, only gripe was the staff member who served me charged me for an Almond Croissant when I asked for and was given a pain au raisin. Not a big deal but it was about £1 more and no offer of an apology or money back

The 3 star for good food and drink they have. Like every other similar places happiness is short lived. In a place that bring tea and food to your table, I was asked to take my food instead of bringing to my table. My right arm is completely paralyzed. I came here because they serve food. Psychopath always target someone like me that is nice gentle not demanding. Like joel ostean say rule your atmosphere. Do not let anybody ruin your day. Quiet ly say thank you for serving me. Gary Namie American social psychologist say psychopaths have a need for excitement. Never ever confront them. Gorge Simon American social psychologist, psychopaths are selective who to target. If you wan to knowt true character of anybody, you can know it through me. I had a lovely chat with Turkish guy and I told him they treated me badly but I am not upset. I have super power looking after me. I feel something going to make me think deeply. I do not have to do anything karma does. Your only customers are tourists and commuters.

First time in London for a while so, with plenty of walking ahead of us, a coffee and cake was just the start we needed. Just across from Charing Cross Station, we grabbed a 2 lattes, a croissant and a millionaire shortbread and sat at the window to watch the world go by. Top marks all round and a great start to the day.

Amazing jewel hidden in plain sight. Had a deliciously fresh bacon sambo and they even have Irish Barry's Tea! Highly recommended for a fresh and light breakfast at a great price

Needed a coffee/something sweet to revive husband, 85-year old mother and myself after train journey and ahead of a walk/picnic in Buckingham Palace Gardens. Saw this right across the road from Charing Cross station. Looked cool, peaceful and quiet. Got a nice table by the window so could enjoy the hustle and bustle of London without being part of it!! Coffee was great, nice generous mugs and custard doughnut and butterscotch/hazlenut cookie very tasty. Nicos was lovely and so was Phillip who brought the coffees to our table - lovely, calm, smiley staff. Toilets were immaculately clean. Really nice atmosphere and pleased to see it was a small company originally from Chichester. Good to know there’s one in Canterbury not far from home so I’ll give that a try too - hope the staff are as nice as those at The Strand.
