Coffee tastes ok, the rest is really a lot about nothing. It doesn't taste good, it just looks good. But definitely awesome for all the Insta ladies

This place is really bad, dirty, full of dirty dishes on the counter and other tables, they just come and trow your food on the table, no smile, no nothing, manager is rude and got the worst attitude ever… I hope I never hear of this place again.

Personnels désagréable. Très mal géré. Nous avions réserver une semaine à l’avance. Arrivez sur place ont nous a dit que nous n’avions pas de réservation. La gérante ne regarde même pas ses mails, cela ne sert à rien de réserver des semaines en avance. L’endroit est très instagrammable mais c’est tout.

Amazing spot and stuff delicious pancakes , definitely recommend it to everyone. Love the pink everywhere

Food is visually appealing but all 4 of our meals tasted disgusting. The coffee wasn't great either. After the meal one person vomited because they felt so ill.

Ordered a latte with an extra shot (my usual) and was disappointed that it was horribly bitter. The espresso shot must have been overexposed and/or the milk burnt. Please invest in training your baristas!!

My friend ordered us coffees from the till and told the server we wanted to sit outside on the terrace. The server then brought our coffees to the table (no problem). After about 10 minutes, a confrontational manager approached us and said if we wanted to sit on the terrace we should have told the server (we did) and that we should have paid a surcharge (we weren’t told when we paid), and furthermore we could only sit outside for 20 minutes max (we’d only been there 10 minutes). The manager’s attitude was cold, accusatory and she didn’t bother to listen to our side of the story. Terrible customer service skills. I used to come here for the coffee because I wanted to support a local coffee shop after lock down, but I’ll never come again. They are sacrificing their traditional coffee customers for the gimmick of Japanese pancakes.

AT ALL COSTS AVOID THIS PLACE! The staff were absolutely horrendous with poor culinary skills. NOT TO MENTION!!!! the service was abysmal EVEN DURING GAY PRIDE MONTH?! It was almost as if they were being homophobic towards me and my associates. On June 28th I was having a business meeting with my BLACK GAY friend and we decided that "Coffee Addict" was the place to be for a scrumptious brunch BUT I WAS WRONG! I ordered a portion of poached eggs and so did my gay black friend. The eggs were undercooked and had a smickle of mold on the top! When I complained to our waitress, Beatrice, its almost like they acted as a microcosm to all the homophobia and racism in this putrid world! We left in a rush without even paying for the putrid food! #westandagainstracism

There are so many negatives about this place, I would advise you to avoid and go elsewhere! Rude staff, dirty and the food is not cooked correctly. My friend and I ordered the poached eggs which were undercooked, the eggs whites were runny and should have been firm. My friend complained to the staff there, who gave a few dirty looks and told us that is how poached eggs are meant to be! Well that just says it all about their culinary skills. No! The white should be firm and the yolk runny. They did replace the dish with something else but did not ask me if I wanted mine replaced - they just ignored me even though we said all the eggs were undercooked. To be honest, I wanted to leave as soon as we could and the thought of eating anything else there made me feel sick. When it came to paying they charged the full price and added on service charge. My friend said she was not willing to pay the service charge (do they expect to get service charge after dirty looks and not even a sorry for serving undercooked eggs?) and also the cost of a dish that was below par. While discussing this with the waitress, another staff member turned up the volume so as to drown out her complaints. How awful is that!?!? We asked for a manager and we’re told there wasn’t one (even though she was sitting outside on the phone). When leaving the place. The staff members outside (maybe the manager pretending not to be the manager!) said I was rude and she was going to call the police. The last time I checked, this was the UK and if something is sub-standard, we are allowed to complain!

I visited here for my 30th while having a weekend in london, I had booked a table 2 months before visiting. The night before my visit I was in the theatre, with my phone switched off, during the interval when I checked my phone I saw that I had received a text message asking me to confirm my booking, 20 minutes later there was another message saying my booking had been cancelled. This was really disappointing as I had been looking forward to visiting and didn’t think 20 minutes was a very fair amount of time to be given to confirm by text or lose my table. After the theatre I went back onto the website and managed to book in again at the same time (makes you wonder why it was cancelled in the first place?). The next morning when I arrived for my booking, I was told I had a table outside (no mention of this when booking) I queried what had happened the evening before with the messages, and although they did let explain what had happened, suddenly there was a table inside available due to an apparent “cancellation”; makes me think they just cancelled another poor persons booking. Food looked absolutely lovely as imagined and tasted good too. But overall I was really disappointed in the service and running of the place, it was not worth all the hassle and was overpriced for what it was.

Saw this place via a few different london instagram accounts and thought it looked cool. (Despite the amount of pink) Took a friend here who is a foodie and was looking forward to it. We got there and it is smaller than i expected, like a cubby hole. None the leas they sat us down but did say it would be about 25mins wait for food (they looked busy). We opted to try the famous Japanese pancakes and i went for the new seasonal autumn in london option. The food arrived earlier than 25 minutes but expectation vs reality kicked in. The pancakes just looked like slop on a plate with a few nuts and 2 tiny leaf decor. There was no real colour to the pancakes either. Price wasn’t bad but quality was just not there. Maybe if we had said we were instagram bloggers they may have focused on presentation.

We had been looking forward to our visit here for a long time! After travelling some distance we arrived to the coffee shop at 1:55pm, as our table was booked at 2:00pm. A group who hadn’t booked a table were sat down first which left no table for our booking and we were told to sit outside where we were seated right next to full bin bags which wasn’t pleasant. After a couple minutes after being seated outside a young girl came to take our order when we said we’d rather wait until our table inside came available as we’d rather sit inside to eat. She insisted we order there and then and that by the time it was ready she would move us to a table inside. Me and my sister both ordered the exact same pancakes (we love choco). Despite the simple order she only brought one pancakes over and something else we hadn’t order (açai bowl). When we had explained that we hadn’t ordered this she again insisted that we definitely had ordered it and then eventually took the bowl back to the counter and was telling her colleges that we were lying and that we had definitely ordered this. After this, we were made to feel like a massive inconvenience and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. Overall we don’t plan on returning as we feel the long journey wasn’t worth it which is a shame for a very aesthetic and beautifully decorated cafe! Despite all of this the pancakes were delicious so well done Nina!

It was just one disaster after the other for this cafe today. We wanted to like it, and we were very calm throughout so as not to make a scene, but we were very disappointed. No compensation whatsoever for the hassle, and not really apologetic when apologising. I could say that maybe they were having a bad day, and that's understandable. It happens to every business. However, we need to be honest about these reviews because other people will be spending their hard earned money in a place like this. We arrived at 4:57 PM, and I took a video of the place after ordering, which was at 4:59 (see time stamp on the video file name) and ordered almost as soon as we arrived. In all fairness to the girl who took our order, she was very polite. The staff in this place are actually quite polite contrary to the other reviews. However, that's one of the few good things you can expect from the restaurant, as it's all downhill from here. We asked for tap water, which arrived about half an hour after we ordered. We couldn't really follow up since it was so cramped in the area, and the servers were scrambling to get the orders done. People in the next table started complaining that they'd been waiting for ages for a brownie. By about 20 minutes in, my husband was hangry, and I looked back to see that they only started preparing our meals then. The pancakes arrived at 5:36 PM, and we took a video at 5:37 PM (see time stamp on the video file name). It was stunning to look at, and very well plated. However, it was average at best. The Ube flavour was there, but it didn't compliment the unusually salty soufflé pancakes. We've never had soufflé pancakes this salty, so we assume this must have been an error during the scrambling that seemed to have been happening in the tiny space. The pancakes were lukewarm apart from being salty, which didn't really taste appetising. The flavour of the Ube was, admittedly, quite good, but did not mesh well with the salty pancakes. The Ube whipped cream had a nice texture, but again, the room temperature cream was not great with the lukewarm pancakes. As we were eating, a man and his companion had tried to leave, only for the staff to scream behind the counter saying "YOU DIDN'T PAY. YOU NEED TO PAY." The man was so confused as they actually did order drinks about half an hour prior, and since they never received anything, they were opting to leave. Still, the staff were insisting that they should pay. The customer offered to just pay for the non-existent drinks despite the fact that the staff were still very loudly insisting that the man did not pay. In the end, a manager or owner (not quite sure what his role is) politely let the customer know that he didn't have to pay for drinks he didn't receive. Well done on him for that, but I can only imagine how horrifying it must have been to be shouted at from across the cafe, with the staff insisting that he didn't pay. The manager/owner had been calm throughout, and I really have to commend him though for being very polite. When we finished our food, we tried to pay. It took about 10 more minutes for the staff to get back to us because, understandably, there was a lot going on with tons of orders not being fulfilled. When they did finally get to us, the tablet stopped working. Now, the POS system issue is definitely not their fault. However, the girl serving us asked us to go to a cash machine and pay in cash, then gave us the wrong direction to the ATM, which obviously took an extra amount of time. Once we got there, all we were given was a "It's not our fault. It's the system." It was definitely understandable that there was a system failure, however, that was it. It wasn't just a system failure. After waiting close to 40 minutes for our tap water and lukewarm pancakes, then being sent of on an adventure to a nearby cash machine, we paid about £27 for two servings of Ube soufflé pancakes. The price is definitely not at par with today's service. Again, maybe this place has good days, and I wish them the best because the place has so much potential. However, there is definitely much to improve on, and everyone's collective experience there today was not great, especially for that man who was accused of not paying despite waiting almost half an hour for drinks that never came. We left the place feeling tired, frustrated and overall just unsatisfied.

We have spent about £7 to drink two acid broths called "coffe". I did not expect to drink a true Italian coffee, but the worst thing was that I heard that the girl behind the desk was Italian. It's a shame for Italy and our culture. You do not spend £7 to get two coffee in St. Mark Square in Venice!

Great Coffee and friendly service. We stumbled across this place which was near our hotel. despite all of the amazing coffee in London, we found ourselves returning here day after day. The soufflé pancakes are worth the half hour wait it takes to prepare them.

We received the most appalling service. We ordered a coffee each and after 30 minutes we were told we had to leave as they limited the time for people ordering coffees. 5 of the 8 tables were empty! We told them we’d leave in 10-15...

Was there for half an hour and still hadn't recieved our coffees so we left. Was very busy but not an excuse for bad service. Staff were not welcoming or attentive at all.

Really fun place, great pancakes and friendly and helpful service. The location isn’t great, it’s a busy road so not that picturesque if you sit outside, but that can’t be helped. Would definitely go back for the food!

Just avoid unless, you like bad service and waiting forever for your drinks and food which was just okay.
