The choice of handmade chocolates look divine as well as their freshly made bakes each day. We went for 8 of the chocolates to have as our dessert with some strawberries. The lady who served was so nice and left us to choose at our leisure. Once we decided she placed them gently in a cellophane bag and we had exactly 100g which cost £7.95. We felt , with the price of cocoa beans to be a very decent price. We struggled to not try any before dinner but when we eventually had them they were definitely worth waiting for. Superb flavour, delicious crack of the chocolate on the shell and just a delicious treat. Can’t believe we haven’t been for a year but will definitely be back after their annual holiday . Favourite for me has to be the raspberry, the morello cherry and the tonka bean but I did enjoy the baileys but would prefer to save that for Christmas 🥰

Another sweet Trinity Market venue: the chocolate itself was a bit too pricey, so I got an Orange Hot Chocolate that was ideal for the cold December afternoon.

I was actually looking for the chocolate string sticks, but didn't get them but purchased a gluten free salted caramel chocolate brownie and a gluten free cheesecake.. Oh boy! Totally amazing! I did not read any reviews before purchasing, but so pleased I treated myself. Just enough of a slight crispness on top to beautiful soft gooey middle. The cheesecake was popped into a lovely box to carry home safe. Thank you so much for your passion. I will be back soonest for more gluten free treats.

Cocoa Chocolatier & Bakehouse is excellent. We have sampled a large variety of their offerings, from chocolates to cakes. I have never tasted brownies quite like the ones from Cocoa, they are AMAZING! More recently we have started buying their celebration cakes too which are fantastic value and huge. Highly recommend!

The most amazing handmade chocolates! When we were there the owner was making a batch of salted caramels and he kindly let us sample one - delicious and so fresh! Their cakes are fabulous too. I love that they change what’s on offer regularly so there’s always something new to try.

Cocoa makes wonderful handmade chocolates and bars. Ideal for a special occasion or just because it's Friday. They have recently moved to a stall in the refurbished Trinity Market among other artisan food and street food stalls. Well worth a visit.

I'm a semi regular of this place although I've still yet to go in the actual cafe. I often go past on my way home and can't help but get a salted caramel brownie. Today I got a salted caramel scotch egg and it was the most divine thing I've ever tasted. Think I might have to go on one of their chocolate classes!

I love visiting here! The prices are great and the hot chocolates are proper quality hot chocolate and not flavoured water or milk. The staff are so friendly and the seating area upstairs is great to get away from the rush of town and a peaceful place to enjoy a lovely slice of cake /brownie and hot drink. Parking is free for up to 3 hours on the street if you can find a space.

Perfect place to grab a gooey chocolatey treat. There was a few different flavours to choose from - so we got a bunch and tried a bit of each. All were super tasty but the salted caramel one is definitely my fave. Good hot drinks too, and lovely to sit outside on Humber Street on a sunny day.

We have been a few times and always made to feel welcome even though we have a dog in tow, which is rare. The most fantastic hot chocolate and selection of cakes.

My daughter treated me to afternoon tea.... With a chocolate theme! Chocolate bread was a first. More for colour than flavour and there was plenty of variety of sandwiches and cakes, as well as sausage rolls no choc there tho. We ended up taking some home. Staff were very attentive and made sure we had plenty of tea and coffee.

The title says it all. Great location near to Hull Marina. The coffee they serve here is the best in the city. The cakes, ice cream and hand made chocolates are all delicious but being weightwatchers we try to avoid sadly. I agree with the previous comment about the blonde haired lady who works here she is friendly and helpful but all the team are a credit to this establishment. I’ve recommended CC to many people looking for somewhere to go for coffees and they’ve never been disappointed.

This place is a Gem.. Yes the chocolate, cakes (and ice creams) but the real gem here is the lady (blonde hair - middle aged - I'm sorry but I didn't catch her name) who works there... Proper local lass - happy to see you, wants to serve you and goes over and above - always leave with a smile on my face...If the management are reading this - she's priceless to a business like yours.

Rather disappointing visit today. Last year we made several special trips to Hull specifically to visit this shop for brownies and a bag of chocolates. Went today and they didn't have the brownies and blondies we usually get, there appeared to be less variety too, so we tried the Nutella and hazelnut one. Definitely didn'tnt taste of Nutella and just tasted of chocolate, nice as a plain brownie but not what we were expecting. The chocolate selection was best disappointing too and there wasn't much left considering it wasn't even 12 O'clock yet.

My wife and I sat outside for a cappuccino during the Freedom Festival, it was excellent, as good as I have tasted. We went back later in the afternoon for an ice cream, unfortunately they had almost sold out and only had hazelnut left but to be fair that was delicious as well.

Met a friend for lunch we were going here but changed our minds as uncertain if they did sandwiches, but we did go after our lunch for cake and coffee. We did see a sign saying they did afternoon teas but did not see a menu. Quite small inside but there is seating upstairs.the coffee was nice and the cake (orange/chocolate) very rich, the free truffle was delicious, a bit out of the way but enjoyed it

I always order a cappuccino yet I rarely receive a cappuccino its usually a latte or a milk water, unfortunately it's a convenient place to stop for me. Service could be improved, whilst the staff are all lovely I often find food arrives a good 10 to 15 mins before coffee but I'd argue most people want to enjoy both food and drink together but the delays seem to be due to chatting to regular customers whom take precident over already ordered food and drink which is disappointing.

Went here for bottomless brunch, with a few friends. Food wasn’t that bad. Drinks that are included if you are drinking cocktails aren’t like literal juice I think that because you can have as much as you like and they add barely any alcohol, kind of the same with when you get wine or Prosecco you don’t get a full glass only half 😂 don’t see the point.
