Stopped for a pint... good one on cask. Friendly service, but the place could be cleaner. Looks like it needs tidying up, especially behind the bar.

It's always a great place to go for a drink. Best pint of black sheep in the area. Great staff and atmosphere. Lots of different varieties of drinks on offer and reasonably priced

All the people giving this place 5 stars must have very low standards. Behind the bar was an overflowing waste bin on full view. Milk carton in hand wash basin and rubbish all over floor. Really put me off my food which wasn’t at all appetizing. No apologies just a shrug of shoulders when I pointed out the state of the place. Kitchen also needs a deep clean and the dirty towel used for wiping plates slung over the cooks shoulder didn’t help either. Left feeling quite nauseous never to return.

Well worth the Visit for sure, Called in here around 12.30 1st February 2023 ordered 2 Baguettes 1 was cheese salad the other ham. And 2 fries . Really great Fresh Bread and Quality Ham filled up rolls. Chips although frozen were cooked perfect Dark Crispy outside and white fluffy inside. All in all with a Beer and coffee the whole meal ect came to just over £22. Well worth it and we will be returning

Never tried the food until today , been a few times before for a pint . The food was some of the best we’ve had and the burgers are absolutely huge ! Tasty all nicely served. Staff were brilliant,and so friendly. I will also give a big up to the disabled toilet facilities.

Fabulous evening. Awesome Tribute Band to AC/DC. It was my brother's birthday and we could not have wished for a more awesome night. The Bar was packed, but such a great atmosphere. I wish this Bar or even something like it was in London. Cannot praise the Staff enough. Definitely pay it a visit if you are ever in Louth.

Dropped in Thursday night 13/01/2022. Great to see a pub doing something mid-week to get people in. Quiz night started at 9.00pm. We got there at question 15. had a few drinks and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the quiz. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are local. Very sociable crowd.

Excellent dog friendly little bar with great service, good value breakfast and lunch menu. Food came out quickly and good choice of drinks inlcluding fresh coffee. 100% recommended.

Staff are lovely here - the young Scottish girl with brown hair was particularly nice, very welcoming, kind and explained about the social distancing rules very well. My points for improvement are: - quality of drink, something just wasn’t quite right - it was very cold - the atmosphere felt quite dead - didn’t feel like I fit in... possibly a pub too reliant on regulars?

Went for drinks yesterday, social distancing a priority, along with cleanliness and friendly staff. Nice drinking area outside too to enjoy the sun if it is shining.

Well run and friendly had to queue to be seated - Ben excellent bar man. Manager intervened when more than 6 people attempted to sit round a table. Test and trace forms on each table which were all sanitized along with the seating after customers left. Tapas area maintained same hygiene standards.

Popped into Cobbles in Louth for breakfast and, as usual, my eyes were bigger than my belly in opting for their 'FatBoy' breakfast. My partner had a smaller one and both were excellent.For me, it's a 5 star place but I'd not there isn't a vegetarian option. It's not a bother to me but some might not like that.

When we first started calling here for coffee, some years OK the prices were low and the coffee superb but niow, after several changes of staff, both are merely average.

This is a bar full of character which comes with a complete set of local characters. Not quite my cup of tea, perhaps, but I can certainly understand why people like the place. The range of beers is good and the bar even serves a good pint of Guinness!

The bar staff and manager are friendly helpful and entertaining it can get busy Friday and Sunday nights with live music... During the day they serve food which is basic but very nice attached to Cobbles is a Tapas bar I've not tried it yet but friends say its very good. Cobbles is well worth a visit when your in Town

The floor is very sticky as are the tables, the barman, Andy I think, is quite annoying and boisterous. However there is an excellent selection of beers, and lots of live music.

If you're into a good old Full English breakfast, or a slightly varied version of it, then Cobbles is the place to go. They even include white pudding. Great value as well

My in-laws come here almost every day. When I was visiting, we came here with them. Dog-friendly. Good cappuccino. I had a Guiness at 10am but I was a breastfeeding mum then and needed the added nutrients. It made for a very pleasant rest of the day.I think its like the Cheers bar. Where everyone knows your name. Except, because it's England, everyone is too polite to acknowledge your presence or say your name and they let you bumble about for a while and collect your group.I saw prosecco on tap here. Not sure if I would order it. I'm such a Scrooge, and yet I love a good drink. How am I going to manage when I move here?

Every time I visit Cobbles Bar I always find a friendly welcome from all of the staff. I had to just say that Andy last night showed what customer service is all about. My usual drink was waiting for me on the bar before I had even ordered! Little things like that make all the difference and make customers feel special. There are many establishments in Louth that could learn a lot from the customer service provided at this excellent bar.

Returned again to Cobbles on a very busy and very warm Wednesday market day. Enjoyed lunches of lasagne, gammon and BBQ chicken. The portions are plentiful and the quality excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed our drinks of Thatchers Cider, white wine and fresh orange juice. The painted piano looks good so I played a few tunes before lunch. The place has recently been redecorated on the outside. It looks really good! It also had plenty of live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings!

Stopped for a drink while in the area, choice of drinks very good. Staff friendly and nice touch of games and newspapers to use on your visit

Without a doubt the BEST breakfast in town by far. Local, fresh produce and excellent price for what you get. Great service and friendly staff, love it here.

We have spent a great night at Cobbles in Louth. Really great, friendly bar, with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and really good live music. Such a great night! Strongly recommend this great bar.

Después navegando por el menú, me decidí por un pastel de carne con cerveza con patatas fritas y guisantes y mi pareja, que eligió un tocino y american queso hamburguesa. Tengo que decir, mi pastel era delicioso, de la carne más tierna y suficiente salsa que podría sumergir mis patatas fritas crujientes, precioso. Mis socios de hamburguesa me dijo fue uno de los mejores que he tenido y créeme, siendo americano, había unos pocos. Ganas de comer aquí. . .

Popped in for quick family catch up drink after work. Staff friendly. Good selection of beers. Shame about having to literally walk through smokers in the doorway which isn't great for children, well anyone really!!

Called in for lunch yesterday, market day, a very popular venue with a good local trade. The meals were good and the staff friendly. Prices reasonable

The woofs are welcome inside this brilliant pub - good music - good food - what more do you want?! Had a lovely lunch - reasonable prices - and service was good even though it was very busy. Can be hard to find a table around lunch time - just need to get the timing right!

This is a very good place to go for a meal and or a drink. It is wheelchair friendly and has a disabled toilet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is good and not very expensive. My wife is welcome on her scooter even though it takes up a table space.They also seem to get a nice class of customers to.

family get together was hosted here, with the friendly atmosphere and staff providing an excellent venue choice. 2 meetings a tapas meal with a few beverages [alcoholic and soft] consumed.

Tucked away in the centre of Louth but well worth finding. Good reputation for the beer but we were only looking for a quick lunch which is exactly what we had. Lovely smoked salmon and cream cheese baguette (can;t remember what my wife had but she really enjoyed it!). Looks like it's a good place to go in the evening.

Recently I've been coming in more and more mainly for the breakfast/brunch! First time was when my little boy was at school for a treat on a Wednesday, now on Wednesday it's my place to go. Now my boy is off school I let him have some time at home then pop in for brunch (as they serve 10 till 2). I go for the Irish breakfast mainly because I love black and white pudding but all the breakfasts sound fantastic. It's a must go to place!

I was very impressed with the all-round standards here. This was our first visit and so we played safe with the menu choices - so often in local pubs "cooked" and "heated" can mean the same thing - but the food arrived quickly and had clearly been prepared with skill and care. Good friendly staff, atmosphere etc. - I just wish it was next door to my place.. Thanks

I like to come in for a nice cold one probably once a week. The have a cask ale usually black sheep or golden sheep, they have a guest beer which is changed regularly which I normally go for. They also have regular band nights and a beer festival at least once a year. Great standard of food and always someone in there. Good customer service and great beer

Not visited Louth before so took a chance on this place and was pleasantly surprised, the pies were delicious, food hot and very tasty. Relaxed atmosphere, comfortáble surroundings and good value for money.

Great place on a Sunday night when they have live acoustic music. Staff are courteous. The drinks reasonable.

good pub grub, and plenty of it at reasonable prices, we only had a lunchtime snack and a drink but larger meals coming out to other diners looked very good.

If you like good music while your drinking then this is the place to go. Staff friendly and people very chatty. Live music good lively night and very close to local taxi rank.

We only moved to Louth a few months ago but I am now a regular in Cobbles. It serves excellent beer and has a good friendly atmosphere.I sometimes pop down in the mornings when it is a hot bed of people having coffee, tea and breakfasts. In the evening it often has live music and the friendly staff serve good beer and are always cheerful and chatty and made me feel very welcome.Highly recommended if you want proper beer in a proper pub with a real atmosphere.

I'm on a mission to find the best cooked breakfast in Louth, so we visited here for that purpose. At £9 the big breakfast is a little expensive and only had two bits of bacon. However the rest of the plate was full of your usual breakfast items, and when I say full I mean full. It misses out on five stars as I expect at least three rashers on a belly busting breakfast. However it picks up points for grilling tomatoes properly, having good quality sausages and not skimping anywhere else. Good work.

A group of friends and myself called in here for a lunchtime drink. The place did smell he wily of dos but the people behind the bar were very friendly.

Food lovely, big portions, especially the nachos n dips, huge!nicely presented, coffee lovely and added bonus of being a pub, so variety of drinks available too.staff friendly.

Great little pub, when we were in the music was 90s retro house. Good bottle of wine at £14, nice mix of clientele. Plus, I lost my purse, and the landlord text, and emailed me,(there was a business card in my purse, whew!) to tell me he had it, and I got it back the next day, completely in tact. Honest people in Louth.

Just enjoyed a traditional Sunday roast beef dinner, choice of large or regular serving, and Beef, Turkey or Gammon, I foolishly opted for the large as a lot of restaurants larges just simply aren't. I shall be going again but think I will opt for the regular next time, The food was freshly cooked, hot, and the beef just fell apart, Very tasty best in Louth

Enjoyed yet another great lunch at Cobbles on the Sunday of the recent Victorian Fayre in the town. I had a lovely homemade lasagne, plus friends had the shared nachos plate that was enormous. Good value, quantity and quality. I agree with one or two other reviewers that the draught ales are not always up to scratch.

Having eschewed Cobbles for the food – breakfasts on two occasions some years ago sent me scurrying to the loo, and for the beer – three of us left the different pints we started as they were just so awful, there has been no reason to return in the past couple of years. Last weekend, a local musician that we wanted to hear was playing, so we thought 'why not?'The bar was packed and to be fair, it often is and obviously has a large, loyal clientele, but having squeezed past the smokers in the doorway and avoided the swearing, swaying drunk on our way to the bar, we did question the wisdom of returning. Friendly, efficient bar staff and a passable glass of wine were the only redeeming features. Louth has a small number of watering holes where I would spend an evening, but sadly a large number where the beer isn't worth drinking, yet seem to attract rowdy customers that invariably spill out onto the street for a smoke and swear. Unfortunately, Cobbles falls into the latter category.

Shame on the door staff person on duty tonight, I have been a very long time supporter of what Ben has achieved thus far with this establishment, but , to be violently intimidated to leave at 02:01 am by the staff on the door on duty tonight after receiving my final drink at 01;53 I find it rather unacceptable and over the top, especially as he kept repeating that he had to get home, and therefore I had to leave, surely as a customer any personal predicament he might have been in is not ,as a customer , was not my problem, Shame Ben it might just be that this is reason that some 20 minutes earlier the establishment was almost entirely empty as customers did not want to engage the wrath of the muscle bound person on the door!

Cobbles Bar is a great place for drink, food and music. There is always a good range of real ales and the food menu is excellent. The homemade Beef Burger is one of the best I've ever had! They have an eclectic mix of live music, usually Friday and Saturday evenings. Highly recommended.

Found this place while on a shopping expedition in Louth. Coffee probably the best in northern Lincolnshire. Good selection of freshly cooked food at sensible prices, excellent range of beers and spirits, served by friendly staff and knowledgable staff.

I am a very picky customer but this place has never let me down! I have been to many bars all over the world and as yet never seen such an amazing selection of spirits of all types, this place has the best selection of bourbon and sour mix that i've seen, this includes many trips to america!As for the GIN selection, its vast and used as it should be, the landlord does the best gin and tonic I have ever had, this is coming from a man who loves G and T as much as his wife and she's a very tasty piece of you no what!Referring to always a perfect pint, in 4 years (at least) of drinking far too many pints in this establishment I have never had a bad pint or experience. The coffee is also superb, in short if you're thirsty and in louth you can't beat Cobbles and the grub is mighty good toboot.The staff are all very good at always making you feel welcome!

Excellent little pub close to the town centre. Great coffee and food during the day and a lively atmosphere at night, be it a quiz, live band or a dj. Often very busy, but friendly and efficient staff always helpful and welcoming. They have a wide range of drinks on offer and the beer is always good!

Home cooked curry and a pint for silly cheap prices, visit here if you want a quick nosh and a pint. The breakfasts are great; in the evenings you may stumble upon a quiz or a live band session, so pick your times carefully and go with the flow. They really know how to entertain their customers here
