Everything was fine, however Coastal Lake did not follow my instructions to remove the pork from the large spring roll.

First time ordering from here- the food was really tasty and plenty of it.

Salt and pepper prawns so bad - plain, dry batter like it had been sat for days, no salt /pepper taste to it at all. Nothing special about special fried rice, mainly boiled rice with a few bits of dry pork and 5 shrimp in the large container. Chicken chow mein and crispy chilli beef were ok, unremarkable. HK Sweet and sour chicken and beef in black bean both delicious. All arrived hot but driver didn’t read note saying do not ring bell so woke up the whole house.

There are significantly more visitors than before, everyone behaves politely, the security politely explains the rules of behavior and advises if necessary.

We regularly order from here but this time the food was awful. We received a “Dal Makhani” that was just a container of tomato sauce without a black lentil in sight. Paneer cheese tasted soapy.

Over an hour late. We called twice to be told it was on the way- no acknowledgement of apology for a delay. And we were simply told the app wasn’t working which was why it was marked as delivered for over an hour before arriving.

Over an hour and half late. After calling a couple of times I ended up picking up my own order. Got given a free bottle of Fanta but I wasn’t happy about that. I wanted back my delivery fee at least and something for the long wait and bad communication. Apparently they were unable to do that due to ordering through just eat. I felt like they handled this situation badly which is a shame as the food is good. Disappointed with their customer service.

On this occasion the restaurant forgot to action my order until I telephoned to ask where it was.

All the food came hot, with great portion sizes. This was honestly the best chinese ive ever had in my life, the same can be said by my parents (this has certainly lived up to its expectations, The beef and mushrooms was unbelieveable each bite provided a juicy flavour. Mum really enjoyed the crispy chillie beef and dad loved the chow mein. No improvements need to be made, except maybe pricing

The meal was fine. The fresh meat was excellent and I could not complain. The sweet and sour sauce was a little thin and the egg fried rice needed some seasoning. It was not bad by any stretch but is more costly than other restaurants in the area and could be slightly better for it.

Considering it is New Years Eve food was delivered on time still hot enough to serve and most of it was lovely. Will order again on a less busy night and may then will be giving five stars

unfortunately my friend who ordered the prawn/chicken balls was very poorly during the night with diorrhea. ive never had a problem with the food here before but its the only dish we didnt share.

Ordering and delivery was great the food however was not so good. The shredded chicken was so tough I actually could not chew it through. It is my favorite dish from Chinese food menu and I have never been disappointed in any other takeaway before.

Lovely Chinese food! Tasty and not greasy at all. The black bean beef is great, as is the prawn chow mien and crispy chili beef. We did a big order and got a free bottle of tango aswell.

Ordered chicken fried rice was more like boiled rice with dry chicken in none of the other bits that normally come in chicken fried rice. When I asked where all the flavours was I got told I had to order them ridiculous. Also placed an order for mushroom rice again was like boiled rice with them chucked in I will not make the mistake of coming back here again

The best we've had in a long time, we ordered the Banquet for 5 (+ 1x Chow Mein Chicken + x1 Prawn Chow Mein) and it was really great food. And so much! Honestly it could feed 8-10. Definitely ordering again. Thanks to the restaurant 👍

Coral Lake had been recommended by friends so we thought we would give it a try as a change from our usual and we were not disappointed. Ordered on line and collected. Food was ready and waiting at the appointed pick up time very polite and prompt service. Food we ordered was very good. Will definitely use again and would recommend.

Thank you to the restaurant as there was a problem with my order not getting to me for some strange reason. Ive never had an issue with the food or delivery from here before and ive ordered a good few times now. So thank you once again the food took a little longer which was expected due to the situation. Absolutely dreadful so called special “fried” rice. It was literally boiled rice with boiled meats added to it. Absolutely NO flavour and it all just smelt raw. Roast Duck Chinese Style was swimming in a thin sauce. So upset I’ve wasted my money. I’m sorry Fortune House, Bromley Hill. I’ll never stray away from you again. Made a BIG mistake going to Costal Lake. A mistake I will not make again!

Not great at all. Fried rice was just rice, without the 'Fried' part. Special Fried rice was just prawns and pork, that's it. For when we had to fry the food ourselves, you know it is bad. I would advise anyone to avoid. You'd be doing yourself a favour.

First time i have ordered from here, the food was really good, the only downside was that the "fried" rice wasn't fried at all. I would order from here again. The delivery driver was so lovely and polite.

Starters were OK. Mongolian lamb was approximately 50% onions, 40% fat and gristle, and 10% actual meat. For £8, not up to scratch.
