Had lunch there today with the wife , my wife had the pork chop and myself the beef excellent meal and service thanks guys 😉

My friend and I came here for dinner and the service was so fast ! She had the chicken shish skewers and I had the truffle rigatoni. My rigatoni was so creamy, decent flavour and very filling. The chicken shish had a good flavour and the bread was nice; she enjoyed the chilli sauce. We enjoyed the cocktails the best and 2-4-£14, how can you not? Vas was so lovely and attentive.

We booked the bottomless brunch as part of our Xmas shopping trip. Plenty of choice on the menu. Food was delicious, drinks were lovely and the service was superb. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and good service. Most of us enjoyed the Christmas set menu. Pre ordering food make it super quick and everyone enjoyed their meal. Thank you very much. Would go away.

We had a great breakfast with a big group of friends here at the weekend. The brioche bun deal was good value, everything was fresh and tasty. Staff were lovely.

No complaints about the food but I really don't like businesses that add a service charge. In the small print it's voluntary but I was not asked, it had automatically been added. I did pay it but I'm unlikely to return because of it.

In Bristol for Christmas shopping with my daughters and sister. Went to The Coal Kitchen for lunch. A warm and welcoming reception from the staff. Seated quickly. A lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was freshly prepared and well worth the wait - wait was about average time for a Saturday 5 weeks before Christmas. Food was superb and very good quality. My sister and I savoured the new festive cocktails - WOW - very creative, presentation was very eye-catching and were very different to what is normally on offer. We loved them all but the best was the Snow Globe. Thank you Coal Kitchen we will return.

Came for early dinner before a gig. Had 3 courses from the set menu for £15.95. Chicken tacos and beef koftas to start, burger and linguine for main and ice cream desert. All we’re really good portion size, really tasty and great value. With 2 drinks and student discount it was just over £50 including service - fantastic value

Amazing Caesar salad with passionfruit martini. Most definitely will be back. Toilets are abit out of date for a lovely restaurant but that doesn’t really matter

Nice place but the food was well below what you would expect. The steak was tough and no steak knife offered. The steak on the steak sandwich was equally tough but unusually was not sliced, so to get your mouth around crisply ciabatta bread and a generously thick tough steak is just too much to handle! My son had the chicken and chorizo when was very nice. We also saw a chef take a chip from one of our plates on he pass….not the part of the meal he should have checked was ok unfortunately. Also nice that they are following the trend of adding a gratuity on the bill to save you the trouble of working out whether it was deserved or not.

Really nice breakfast experience. Staff very friendly. Food prepared beautifully. We have had a number of excellent dinners there as well.

Recently visited with my house mates for a 3 course meal. Service was good and pretty efficient. Starters were great, a few issues with some of the mains but quickly sorted. The biggest issue was the desserts - in particular the ‘cheese board’. 5 bland stale oat cakes , the most inedible bitter curry tomato flavoured ‘chutney’, 3 cheeses and the best part about it was the grapes. As we spent £14 for 2 it was such a disappointment. No rush to return.

Myself and my flat mates visited Coal for a birthday celebration and were disappointed from the beginning. Waited 20 minutes to be seated, and then a further 25 minutes for our order to be taken - for then the staff to not only not know about the menu’s allergens but literally sigh when we asked if they could check with the kitchen. The mojitos took ages and when they arrived tasted only like soda water, we reordered only for them to bring us the wrong drinks. Our food arrived, the portions were ridiculously tiny (£9 for salmon pictured, with no sides). The rest of the food was overpriced and appalling - the size of the main meal steak skewer was the same size as the starter chicken skewer. In response to our disappointment one of your members of staff quite literally told us “well you can just get up and leave” without trying to remedy the problem. We were left feeling so unwelcome in your restaurant. I am ultimately disappointed and disgusted at not only the service but the price and quality of food. Wish I could give less than 1 star. Our party of 6 will not be returning and we WILL be letting everyone we know how disgusting our experience was.

Been here many times the food is always great and the staff are always lovely the restaurant is always spotlessly clean and it's very good value for money and of course there is always a special offer on would highly recommend

I reviewed Coals in Gloucester and it wasn't that good but my recent visit to Cabot was good. Great front of house staff and food arrived very quickly. Attentive service, an all round great effort. I can't complain about anything.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos para el bistec con gratin de patata y no nos decepcionó, tanto estaba buenísimo. Nos pareció que era extraño estar servido con patatas gratinados ensalada, así que no comer. No comimos el maíz en el olote tampoco, ya que no es algo que me gustaría comer con carne y patatas gratinado. Sería mejor si puedes elegir sus propios lados. La comida es cara y no creo que me gustaría pagar el precio completo. El servicio no era increíble, pero estaba lleno de gente. Sin duda volveremos

El servicio era bueno, la comida no vale la pena el dinero. Nos sentamos allí helada. Sabía muy bien, pero realmente pollo Dorado,, por ejemplo, el pollo con tomates y patatas era la única cosa en ese menú que parecía estar bien, el bistec estaba bien caro. Afortunadamente mi exboyfriend no desean una estancia larga, el lugar ideal para salir de rápido.

No es de extrañar porque de la ubicación. Elegimos ir para el filete (la cosa más cara en el menú, como para hacer que la mayoría del 50% descuento). Elegí para que raro, con patatas fritas y salsa peppercorn. La comida salió muy rápidamente y era increíblemente bueno. No cabe duda de que el resto del menú también sería genial. El tastecard subvenciones 50% de descuento en comida. Teníamos un refresco filetes cada uno y terminamos pagando £40 en general. Creo que el servicio es aproximadamente 20% así que sea precavido.

Este restaurante está situado en Cabot Circus de Bristol y es grande y moderno. El personal es acogedor, amable y profesional.El menú es variado y opté por sus dos - brochetas de cerdo y jamón, pollo y chorizo en el otro. Me había patatas cursis y lados de circunvalación de cebolla y disfruté cada último bocado. La carne estaba cocinado a la perfección, y había un montón de cosas. El servicio era rápido y este es un restaurante al que sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Went today and had great time and good food and my bf found bit of blue string and they gave us £18.49 off are food and use my taste come again when down in Bristol again as no coal bear us in North East

Stopped in here for lunch. Service was quick and food didn't take long to arrive. They catered for our daughter with a dairy intolerance. We even treated ourselves to a very yummy pudding. Good experience.

We felt a bit spoilt for choice at Cabot Circus as there are so many restaurants to choose from. We found a real gem in Coal!The staff were wonderful, friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the menu and gave swift service.Our drink order was taken within 5 minutes of being seated and were on our table soon after that.The menu selection is good without being overwhelming. We chose garlic pizza bread and chorizo to start. The bread was nice, if a little crispy in places, but the chorizo was to die for! For main course we had chicken fajitas and a variety of 3 skewers, with Mac & cheese and broccoli as sides. It was all cooked to perfection - the chef really knows what he's doing - and it was all so tasty and such huge portions that we couldn't possibly manage dessert, which I was really sad about! If the desserts are anything like as good a quality as the rest of the food we tried, they would be wonderful.The service charge is included in the bill, but there was no fuss or problem when I asked for it to be removed. I always prefer to leave cash tips, and did so very happily on this occasion.We can't wait to go back!

Very popular place! When we arrived there were no tables free so had to sit in the bar until one was available. This took about 10 minutes so it wasn't a big problem. The food was certainly worth waiting for. We would definitely go back again.

Great location. Inside and outside dining available. Great range of dishes to cater for all tastes. Presentation very good. Not sure how often cocktails were made but could improve. Also if glasses of 'blue' cocktails are full , do not pass across tables and over cream jackets. Toilets were very basic and very untidy and dirty.

No matter what I always come back to this place to eat as I know that the food is great, always served swiftly and the staff take pride in their jobs. Love the cocktails and the venue makes for a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Our waiter was very attentive. The food was well presented (chicken schnitzel and Fajitas for my wife and I). It is in a large shopping centre so there is some background noise (skateboarders) but I would go back. The menu is varied and reasonably priced

We had Brie wedges & natchos for starters. A fare price at £4.25 each. Main course of firesticks x2 with roast veg& small portion of chips. My advice is this could be shared if your not too hungry & just order a extra portion of chips. Also Chimichanga. All the food was lovely & hot & very tasty. Will definitely be going again sometime. Main course of firesticks £16.95 & £10.95 for chimichanga.

Good choice for meat lovers and plenty of it, so much so that we all struggled to finish the main course.Food itself was ok in parts (mixed starter disappointing), good in others (skewers look to be the best deal) and is expensive when drinks and service are added.It's a good compromise if you have several people to satisfy and cant agree on where to go, but sure there are better places to spend this sort of money.Service was friendly but not over the top, waitress was chatty but didn't pester us through the meal.

Food was nice until I found a hair in my burger meat. When I told the staff they said sorry and did not offer me another. When the bill came out rather than not charge me they just deducted the optional service charge. When I questioned this they said that's all we can offer. Very disappointed. They girls were too busy checking their make up and hair to get me another drink.

My husband and I stopped off at Coal for lunch, we enjoyed our meals. He had a rack of ribs & I had a burger. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, our waitress was friendly. It was a little bit pricey, but we would go again as a treat.

Went for a 30th last night, nothing on the menu is particularly inspiring like the seafood linguine being with prawns and 'white fish'. Had the duck pate which was shop bought with a bit of naff white bread.Staff were nice though until we asked for balloons for the person who's birthday it was and the waitresses seemed to get told off by a stern faced manager which sucked the fun out of Think they think they're in London as a large wine was £8 , cocktails on the 241 were padded with sickly mixers and ice.Felt like we were being rushed out at 9.45 even though it wasnt busy being asked if we were finishing the carafe of water so they could take it. Overall unpleasant and average overpriced food and drinks, wouldnt bother again.

The staff were reasonably attentive, we had to go inside and ask for menu's but afterwards good. Beware of automatic 12.5% tip added to your bill. Drinks are expensive. We ate from a lunch menu which was a special deal - two courses for £8.95. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I found mine very good and would recommend. I had savoury pancakes. I would eat here again and recommend to others. Service could have been better as it was't busy, but no other complaints.

Had a lovely meal with my family. My son had the kids burger and gave it 10/10. Quite a big burger for kids meal and he's 12 so more than enough for him. I had chicken snitzchel which was tasty with dauphonoise potatoes and spinach and hubby had the classic burger. Very nice and we would go again.

I love this restaurant. It is a firm favourite both because of atmosphere and menu choice. There is something for everyone. It is quite pricey but I would suggest that this is reflected in the good value of the food. Definitely go back and it suits the kids well.

Decided to venture in as we had a voucher. We were very happy with the food, and drinks. The only downside is that there was a sneaky Service charge on the end of the bill hidden as if it was the final amount owed. My new rule is that if an establishment does that for 4 or less people on a table I do not leave any kind of tip as it should not be expected. I might go again or find somewhere else that values my customer without asking for more money.

I have eaten here a couple times now. The first time was with my wife and another couple. The food came out cold and my wife's burger was like 'rubber'. The business dinner was ok. There was a group of 5 of us. We started with drinks in the bar area, which smelt a bit strange. We then moved through to the restaurant. The food came out all together and hot but the taste just lacked something.Don't think I'll be going back for a third time.

visited Coal a few months back to celebrate a family birthday and what a lovely experience we had. Food was amazing, staff were very good.. however one improvement is that there was a air conditioning unit right above us which kept us quite cold! but apart from that i would highly recommend coal to anyone looking for a nice meat meal.

Went to Coal today for breakfast. Service was OK for speed but as the place was empty this would be expected - another couple came in but left after a while as nobody realised they were there. What I didn't like was the optional service charge, which I only saw after I had got back to the office and having left a cash tip of roughly the same amount. I was surprised the card machine did not ask if I wanted to leave a tip. This has made me pretty livid - I will not be going there again. The breakfast was pretty small really so not great value.

Went here with my husband, daughter, son in law and granddaughter. The latter is autistic and in a wheelchair, staff made sure that she had what she needed and were attentive. The food was excellent and well cooked and presented. You never felt rushed and different courses were not to quick after one another. Staff made sure you had everything without being in your face.

The 2 of us and 3 little Munchkins needed a break from the shopping and rain so visited our favourite retreat for a beverage and sit down. As always the pot of Earl Grey was just what I needed. The girls were well looked after and had great fun, whilst hubby partook in a well needed pint!!!

Mrs R and I came into Bristol for breakfast at Bill's - normally the best of the 'chains'. However, Bill's website claim that they are in the "heart of Bristol's shopping area" actually means half an hour's up hill march from Bristol's shopping area.So here we are for the first time at Coal's - which I promised elsewhere to review after having a grumpy stab at Bill's location.Scrambled eggs were not from the microwave and the poached eggs were properly cooked. In fact, neither breakfast was over-cooked in the way the chains normally do - although the toast was the usual skinny profit-saving variety. And it may only be a personal bug-bear, but I do think it's a lazy chef who doesn't butter toast for scrambled egg.Apart from the ketchup being so watered down that I can recall drinking thicker bloody mary's, it's a well prepared, well-priced breakfast that IS in the heart of Bristol's shopping centre. One person on front of house with an obvious list of morning tasks to do can mean you fetch your own extra butter, and have plenty of time to write a long review whilst waiting for the bill.....but all in all a relaxed pre-shop treat which will get many more visits from us.

We visited here for lunch during a visit to Bristol. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and presented well. On reading other reviews, a lot said about them adding service charge without asking to the bill. We checked when presented with the bill.... This was NOT the case. Overall, the visit was very pleasant !!

We visited last week as a family with a small child.we felt rushed to order.the chips were nasty and frozen and tasted like dry oven chips.My daughter had chicken goujons and mash which was horrendous the chicken was deep fried the mash was watery and looked like glue she wouldn't eat it after trying it.I ordered the house fajitas which looked lovely at first the veggies that come with it were over seasoned but the chicken was nice.My husband had the coal burger he only managed to get through half of it as the meat was very dry.Overall a bad experience I would expect very good quality service and food for the money we payed out I would never go here again and would not recommend it.I've had better at my local sizzlers for a fraction of the price.

I've been here a few times before but not since last year, always enjoyed the meals and drinks in the past however since I last visit I don't think I will be returning. Our food seemed as if it had been heated in the microwave over and over, a friend had ordered a burger that arrived black, burnt through.Cocktails were vile! tasted like alcohol flavored water. We thought it was very cheeky to add an almost 20% service charge to the bill when it was only 2 people at the table.

Ate here last night food was ok. What was unacceptable is the theft that took place. I don't mind paying the service charge that gets automatically added onto your bill that seems to be the norm these days. Our bill came to just over £45 inc service I paid cash and never received my change if you want to be mugged couldn't recommend a better place to let it happen

The restaurant manager was helpful when a piece of alien material was found in the food but changed what she actually told us when asked by the owners daughter. The family owner was not helpful at all and tried all in the book to pass the blame onto us saying it was us who was detailing the inaccurate course of events and she believed her manager over us. No company apology was made.

Me and my boyfriend decided to visit here on a last minute meal out. We booked before hand, arrived ten minutes before our book time but had to wait 30 mins for our table! She did apologise and say she had some couples asked to be seated in certain places so put them before us - wasn't very happy about this! But apart from that the whole experience was great. The cocktails were lovely - 241 on a Friday night which was great! The food was amazing - and we both said we want to come back! The place was busy, clean and had a great atmosphere. Will be back!

I was attracted by the menu which had something for all of us, and by the fact that it was conveniently close to the cinema where we were about to see a film. And also, to be honest, by the 20% off for anyone with a cinema ticket :).The restaurant was much emptier than others close by and the reason soon became apparent. This dark dingy slightly grubby looking restaurant has clearly seen better days and there was a lethargy among the waitresses and the chefs that didn't bode well.I had a rack of ribs, my son a pulled pork burger, and my daughter a pizza. The pizza was fine but not brilliant. The ribs and pork though had a dull color and a slightly dry chewy consistency that I am sure was a result of the meat having been cooked a long time ago. It certainly didn't taste fresh. The chips were chunky, which I like, but an odd color and very very bland.I imagine that when Coal first opened it was a vibrant bustling energetic place but over the years competitors have taken away custom and it is now left with a barely beating heart.As a place to go for a quick refueling it is ok I guess but I would definitely not go there for the food or the ambiance.

Had lunch here with my girlfriend. It wasn't very busy but the menu looked tasty so we decided to try it. We were glad we did. Food was absolutely delicious. I had a jambalaya which was delicately spiced and was amazing. Would definitely like to try more things on their menu.

I had a serious rib craving but the weather outside was awful so decided to try Coal as I was already in Cabot. After a 20 minute wait (Saturday afternoon, so fair enough) we were seated and I chose the full rack of ribs with slaw and chips, my partner went for the two sticks with potato gratin. What we received were chewy chips, overcooked ribs (the ends were scorched solid and the middle bits were dry), the shrimp on a stick was also overcooked and steak on the stick was chewy. The gratin was starchy, and coleslaw was 50:50 mayo and onions. The only redeeming feature was the size of the ribs but still the food felt overpriced. I've had much better ribs in Wetherspoons. Also, the tip is automatically included in the bill. I would've left a tip anyway but I can imagine a situation where I can't afford it so I would have to awkwardly ask for the tip to be removed in order to pay.

Never heard of the Coal Grill & Bar chain before so decided to give it a go. Place was packed for a Saturday night and we hadn't booked, however just a 5 minute wait in the bar before being shown to a table. Service was quick, food was delicious, lovely atmosphere and decent prices. Will definitely visit another Coal Grill & Bar should I ever stumble across one!

The food was extraordinary. Very quaint, up market interior with candles on each table which I love. Makes it very romantic. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely return!

Visited with a group of friends over the weekend needed something to eat after about 9ish and stumbled on Coal. Service fine. Food not great.I was really looking forward to a steak but being really hungry I decided to opt for a combo platter. Which came with chicken breast, pork steak and a steak chips onion rings and coalslaw..I wasn't interested in the coal but there must have bee about 10 tablespoons of the stuff on the plate. Way to much. onion rings, fine chips OK. The chicken breast was OK. The pork steak tasted weird couldn't place the flavour and the steak was a thin slice of meat which resembled roast beef tasted OK but definitely not a steak. This cost £17 and I cant say I felt it was value for money My friend had the house steak which looked much better. The spicy half chicken wasn't spicy. So 2 out of 3 meals disappointing. Desserts my sticky toffee pudding was actually good...The other 2 a waffle and a banana split a bit uninspiring. Bill came to over £100 which included a couple of beers but I felt this was way over priced. It was one up from food served at Weatherspoons. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Chose this out of a few possibilities as we've eaten in most places in Cabot.I had duck pate to start which was lovely, let down only by the cheap, thin white bread toast ( crusty bread or thicker bread would have been better )I had chicken & ribs with BBQ sauce which was a very generous portion & very nice too, the "coal-slaw" was also very tasty but again let down by the frozen chips which could have done with a few more minutes, it's not like these restaurants cannot afford decent potatoes for chips after all..Worth a second look now I'm more familiar with menu.

Some headline offers but really quite limited especially if watching your waistline. V busy and food ok but wouldn't hurry back

JUST TRUST ME, PLEASE DON'T COME!!!!!! I went to Bristol's one with my girlfriend for a late lunch. I ordered a ribs and chicken thigh while my girlfriend ordered cajun chicken and tiger prawns. Mine was fine, but my girlfriend's was totally a disappointment!!! The chicken was so very dry, small, just like those u can find in kebab shop anywhere. Those tiger prawns, wao, well they made them skewers, but those r totally not tiger prawns, they were small like those you can buy in Marks and spencer for £5, and they charged this for £15!!!!!!! The food is just so disappointing, no wonder why they got no queues outside like Nandos and B&F. Please don't come to this or your day will get ruined.

Popped along to this restaurant on 14th Feb and what a great place this turned out to be!The food was excellent with good sized portions! Excellent value for money. Friendly staff and great atmosphere!Not sure what those recent poor reviews were about? I personally would ignore them because they are completely innacurate.I give Coal Grill and Bar ☆☆☆☆☆Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

Booked a table for 7.30pm, due to the bad traffic we were 10 mins late and were told they had given our table to another couple! So rude. We were advised to wait in the bar where there was no seating, until a table became free, we just felt we were in the way. Total lack of professionalism, would NEVER return to coal @ Cabot.

Went to Coal Grill and Bar with my boyfriend before the cinema and we were so dissapointed with the whole meal! We were seated and served very quickly and the waitress was very friendly but the food was a huge let down. I ordered a chicken schnitzel which was so dry as it didn't come with any sauce or dressing and looked like an Adsa ready meal. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Jambayla which very small for a main course and was very bland and tasteless. When we complained the manager apologised but we were not offered any discount from our bill which was a small fortune. We will not be returning!!

We called in here on a Wednesday evening around 6.30 pm and easily got a table even though it was fairly busy without booking for 4 The food was great - good menu and good valueThe waiting staff were very good and very welcoming and chatty without being too in your faceOur waitress advised that if we showed our movie tickets that we would get 20% off the bill which we did !! So on this visit very good valueWould recommend if out for a movie and want to eat here then get your tickets first !!! :)

Visited Coal on a Monday evening to meet friends, we all arrived around 7pm the restaurant wasn't that busy and plenty of free tables. Asked for a table for 5 and we were stared at blankly, followed by a long "uuuum yeah ok then" After the waitresses rearranged a table we sat down ordered drinks, one waitress was very attentive and made our evening very pleasant, however another was the exact opposite. The food was average, nothing spectacular, very over priced for what you get. Had never been to coal before, the atmosphere was very good but that is about it. Won't be returning in a hurry.

Came here for breakfast after a night out in bristol, very friendly service, fantastic food and reasonable prices, I had the eggs Benedict with salmon, friend had a full breakfast, shame that there isn't a coal in Cardiff where I live.

After the film on Saturday we called in to the Coal Bar and Grill, they offer 20% discount on showing your cinema tickets. Had to wait a couple of minutes in the bar while they prepared a table then studied the menu. Quite a wide choice and was tempted to go with the safe bet of a steak but decided to be brave and go for their speciality Firesticks.Beer first however and nice to be asked if I wanted my Speckled Hen chilled or room temperature, room of course! But great to be asked!Then they set up tall wire baskets on the table and when the meals arrived they were placed upon these baskets. The meal was served on heated cast iron skillets on wooden platens and comprised of peppers, onions and tomatoes as a base followed by 3 (you can have just 2) large skewers one of beef, one sausage and one tiger prawns. Also served with rice and 3 or 4 dips.Food was excellent and we couldn't have eaten any more if we tried. My only small niggle was my second pint was a bit slow arriving, something wrong with the bar printer and fair play they didn't charge me for it.So great food and beer and we'll definitely be back soon!

Went for dinner with a colleague whilst on business. It was a Tuesday night but the restaurant was busy and we had to wait for about 15 minutes in the bar to get a table, which was fine. Staff were all friendly and polite but the bar service was a bit slow.Our waitress was prompt and attentive and friendly. I had chicken chimichanga and my colleague had chicken fajitas. Both dishes were nicely presented and really tasty. Quite big portions.The atmosphere was good in the restaurant, nice modern decor and furnishings and dim lighting which all added to the feel of the place. Quite good value for money too. Would recommend and go back.

This is a lovely restaurant to visit as the food and wine are excellent. They also do two for one cocktails! If you like to visit the cinema, Coal will give you 20% off your food bill for that day. Great atmosphere, great restaurant!

Went here on a busy Saturday and the service was excellent. We had some pizza bread and dips to start which was fine but the dips were nothing special. We then had three sticks which were really tasty and some side dishes. We had 20% of our bill because we had been to the cinema, this discount and removing the service charge (I left what I wanted to on the table instead of being told) bought the price down to something reasonable. All in all we had an enjoyable meal and I would recommend this place to try.

First time to bristol and with time to kill before our early morning flight out, we trawled the shopping malls and chanced apon this place. How lucky were we. Comfy sofas in the bar area, 2 for 1 cocktails and not expensive. So much so, we came back for dinner in the evening for dinner. Great choice of fresh local produce, including the meat selection. Nice and buzzing. Again not expensive. Only let down was the cooking of steaks, just a bit over what we wanted. Service very efficient and friendly. Next time we are in Bristol, will certainly revisit!

Called in over xmas and although it was very busy, the waitress got us a table within15 mins. The food was excellent all cooked fresh, great portions and cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced, and they offer 2 for 1 cocktails during the week. Certainly will be revisiting :)

Stoped for lunch, food was nice and portions very generous. Would definitely return but maybe on a evening as was a lot of food for lunch. Even the salads were massive.

We went to the Coal Grill and Bar as all the other bars and restaurants around was full. The food was wonderful with larger than average size portion and the staff were well organized

We stopped here after going to the cinema, what a beautiful place, oozes charm and sophistication, great bar.The food was very good and about average price for Bristol in a place like this.Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The waitress and kitchen staff were very helpful in catering for my personal food intolerances and we had a very nice meal to finish off our shopping experience at Cabot circus.All the staff were efficient and friendly.The food was cooked to perfection.My only slight niggle is that a service charge is added to your bill, you can decline this charge, but I prefer not to see it added before I can decide what to tip.I actually paid the full charge plus left some cash because I was very happy with our meal.
