Really nice chippy with the option to eat in too. Decent value for the portions you get. They've got a few branches dotted about the north east and you always know you're gonna get hot and filling food.

This is one of the best fish shops I know of with beautiful Cod and chips and good prices. There are fried fresh and offer the old scratchings which is now becoming a rareity. There is a seating area attached for a small cost offering bread and butter alongside the meal. Whenever we visit Shildon we go to Clems it is a must place to eat when in this small town of Shildon, you just can’t come and go without a Clems meal.

I have been to this place a few times, the food is always hot, perfectly cooked, good quantity and quality. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing it too much for them. The prices is very reasonable and they have a good range of food to choose from. So if in the area drop in and try it - you wont be disappointed.

We went for an afternoon tea and a spa day at Raddison Blu Hotel, and as always, had been a great experience. They refurbished the restaurant, and it looks so great. The spa day was really nice, too.

At £28 per person from one of the top hotels in the North East I was expecting a lot better, 4 small finger sandwiches each, 4 scones and small cakes. Not a lot of effort and no selection of desserts

I booked a table on line and when we arrived we were told that they don’t take bookings on a bank holiday. Would have been helpful to know this beforehand. Lucky for us we went to a Turkish restaurant

We go to Bolams food In Sedgefield a few times a year. Even though it’s a 40 minute drive away it’s worth it for the quality of the produce. This time we got 2 reduced beef joints, various chicken mea
