We held a family event there in October (Wedding Reception). The staff were friendly and helpful, the supplied buffet plentiful and tasty and the venue, clean, tidy and reasonably priced. Spot on.

We were made very welcome at this club when we visited to play in their mixed open. The course was in good condition - greens are very tricky. We ate in the bar afterwards and the food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

I returned to crook for my nieces wedding reception which was held at this AMAZING building . After 27years away, I found the area had changed " for the better" , saying that, Many years go i went to the club grounds on a weekend looking for stray golf balls , and tried to sell them to the golfers outside the old club house !!!!! The club was a complete change to how I remembered it. The staff were very friendly and well organised, the management PERFECT not a problem for anything ,and the buffet food was excellent. Well done to the club. Keep up the good work, 93years old and looking better......best wishes for your next years to come

We have eaten here many times Sunday lunch is unbelievably good value and a real traditional treat. How they provide such wonderful wholesome food at this price is beyond me but I will continue to eat Sunday lunch here when I'm needing a tasty treat. Highly recommended, fabulous views it's a must visit place

Sunday lunch at Crook Golf Club, in County Durham UK was a real treat both times we went. We were seated on the small balcony, it's a bit narrow, but worth it for the fantastic view over the course, especially the first time we went when all the trees were in their autumn colours. There is no menu, the waitress will tell you what is available. There was a choice of roasts: pork, chicken or tender beef, all of which came with Yorkshire pudding, roast & boiled potatoes, cabbage, mashed swede, carrots & mushy peas, a gravy boat, stuffing with the chicken and a choice of condiments, all this for £4.95! There was a great selection of puds, including sticky toffee, chocolate fudge, spotted dick & apple pie, there are more, I just can't remember them all, you could choose between ice cream, pouring cream, clotted cream or custard to go with your pud and all for £1.95! I don't know how they do such tasty food for the money. In addition all the staff are all very warm, pleasant & helpful. You need to book, but would highly recommend it to anyone. BTW if you are looking for this golf club in Colorado you will be disappointed, it is thousands of miles away in Crook, County Durham, England. I hope this golf club can be moved to the correct country.

What a great place. Good atmosphere and friendly. Three of us had sea bass in prawn sauce and it was delicious. One other had the most enormous roast which apparently was great. Really good Sunday evening menu. Very good value for money. Thanks to staff for an enjoyable time.

Bacon ( undercooked very fatty) mushrooms (watery awful) Bun. Always have dinner here ( beautiful). My partner had a full breakfast he said it was so greasy. ( Definitely looked disgusting) Very disappointed. Sorry for bad review. I'm always honest. Staff extremely nice. Price ok. Restaurant clean Thank you Lisa ward.

Went there early afternoon on the Tuesday. Game of pool and a Guinnessbeing my guilty pleasure. Prity empty but another couple followed us in and started playing pool. Got our drinks and sat down to wait for the game to finish when the music was for some reason turned up so high I couldn't hear myself think. I don't think there interested in customers and use this ploy to get rid of them. It worked! Everyone left.
