Clee Hotel (Book direct for best prices) in North East Lincolnshire

The room was big but very dated, smelt of urine, the "continental breakfast" consisted of individually wrapped croissant, pain au chocolate and waffles which looked like they were bought from Iceland, toast and cheap yogurts in a small room, you could either take to another room or back to your bedroom, very strange arrangement!! The staff we met were lovely but it was a very strange set up. I looked and smelt like it had been an old people's home. Disabled and dog friendly though.

We were greeted by Murphy the fluffy grey cat who is absolutely gorgeous; and Had a lovely host Tom who showed us to our room. We booked through Booking.com and needed an extra bed and was upgraded to a family of 4 room at no extra cost which was great. We were told that the bar shut at 11:30pm but a party in the bar commenced just as we were going to bed. Wasn't ideal as we had the kids with us asd they found it difficult to sleep but it wasn't the end of the world I guess. The shower wasn't massively powerful in room 7. Took some time to shampoo my blue hair... But the complementary continental breakfast was really good. The breakfast host lady was really helpful and there was Lots of choice, nice meat and cheese; fruit toast and croissants with choice of juice cereal etc.... if we come to Cleethorpes again I'd stay here. The rooms were clean and although the carpets are tired, it was a good price for the 4 of us for the night. Thanks guys.

Amazing downstairs apartment with garden, good furniture,kitchen, bathroom 2 bedrooms, comfy and clean beds . Really nice bar in the hotel. 🌟

Great hotel. Friendly staff, good price and so close to the town of Cleethorpes. Would stay again for sure.

The staff at the hotel is friendly , however there is a bar downstairs so music and noise never stop during the night. It’s very disturbing. No AC so had to open a window, but it was still very very warm in the room. There are much better options closer to the beach. Would not stay the night again and would not recommend.

Only stayed for a night, good location, the staff where pleasant, room 3 had all we required. We ate there, Jamaican chicken curry really nice, would stop again. J & R

Visited the bar this evening to meet a relative, we are both Grimsby born and bred people. Bar was so noisy it was impossible to speak to each other and the door was left open many times on this cold night. One bar person was pleasant but one of the bar staff was so objectionable, rude and confrontational neither of us will ever visit the bar again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room. Excellent owners/staff.

Class hotel they do what they can for you the bar is wicked , plus little bonus with a red hot bath

Fourth stay at Clee hotel in clean, warm spacious room. Comfortable bed( perhaps could do with bigger quilt for two people.) hot shower. Some rooms have bath which we prefer. Good continental breakfast. Pleasant staff. Parking. Bar. Good location walkable to bars and and many restaurants. Value for money.

Great for the price only thing I would say is if you go out in a morning or late at night for a cig or fresh air or whatever you can can get locked out my brother was locked out for 2 hours and staff locked at him and walked off pin Number we got didn't work at the door. Shower didn't get warm or hot. But apart from that good.

This hotel is filthy. We booked a room at the hotel but was put into a filthy room in a house . The sink was cracked black mold on the curtaind cobwebs everywhere it isn't worth the money paid £92 a night for a filthy dump we stayed two nights regretfully never again. It's a complete dump breakfast was a joke too.

Brilliant place, very accommodating for our needs, especially as my mum is in a wheelchair.
