Clearys irish bar in Birmingham

We meet up before every Blues home game. Service is good and friendly. Only complaint, having removed Sharps Atlantic the only bitter is the awful cream flow stuff.

Great music with Danny D,arcy Guinness was good at 4.50 .

Best boozer in digbeth, great beers great atmosphere and great location.

We didn't eat. The Guinness was a perfect pint. The staff and owner were amazing hosts. Lovely spacious back outside beer garden.

So rude. Don’t even bother going here. You’ll be ignored unless you’re a Deliveroo or just eat driver. Over half hour wait for a simple meal. Was not busy. I thought McDonald’s was the house of Clowns

This was the first pub on our Digbeth pub trail. We popped in for some Guinness early doors around midday. Lovely roaring fireplace, proper fire that you don't really see too often these days! Friendly bar staff, nice Irish décor and lots of outdoor seating space. Lovely little traditional themed pub!

Went out for a birthday night (mine and a friend) all girls 16th March wasn't sure what to expect having never been before. Within 10 minutes regulars were super friendly. The drinks weren't crazy priced, music was fantastic and the owner was an absolutely lovely chap. If you come here you are guaranteed a top night.. Will be back again

Great night out, lovely friendly bar with fantastic bands. The Burger bar has great food and Harry comes to finds you in the bar once your good is ready.

Noticed this place hadn’t had a review in quite a while which confused me as it’s … A. Very busy and B. Very good !!. Off the main stretch through digbeth so unless you know it’s there you may not ever discover it.. I haven’t and I’m 42. But, saying that, I’m very glad I did as this pub is excellent. Friendly staff and people, a real happy family friendly vibe that doesn’t seem to attract the “all day wino” that sometimes plagued the likes of the kerryman. Great music, good prices on cash deals. Great seating for sports and live music .. really is fantastic

Always a great welcome. Great staff very friendly. Food is great and a great pint and a great selection of other drinks. A lot cheap then other pubs and a better pint. Would recommend to anyone for a great night out

I've been coming here since it opened and also the previous location. However, I don't use it as frequently as I used to. Always enjoyed good Guinness in here and the previous one. Fair play to the owner/ manager

We loved watching the All Ireland quarter and half final here. Really lovely atmosphere, very family friendly and still authentic. The Indian food is also top class. We’ll surely be back soon

This bar has changed since my last visit, seems more open and the DJ plays a bigger selection of sounds. Interspaced by live entertainment. The bar staff are great and you are always made to feel welcome, whatever your age. Lots of light strings up for Christmas which gave a warm feeling. The bar is always packed on St Patrick's Day of course. Indian Food is available but the staff were happy to sort out plates of chips foir our group and the price was reasonable. Important to state that we were there for the music and dancing, we did not book for dinner. A good night!

This place can get packed at weekends but wait till late...music should b Irish but often isn't which is a disappointment...had hilarious nights here...

Visited here whilst on business and was surprised to see that they served Indian food, decided to give it a try and was glad I did!! The food that I had was amazing, had the set menu for £12 which included a drink and even though the price seemed cheap the food was of an excellent standard and great value for money!! The menu is extensive so you don’t have to stick to the set menu and the staff are helpful and pleasant whilst not overbearing! If you’re in the area then give it a try, you won’t be disappointed and I for one will definitely be returning! Keep up the good work guys!!

Didn't know what to expect being an Irish bar tbh.....But...the Indian grill was amazing, the staff were really friendly, bar prices reasonable, great Dj music to dance to & a bit of live music too. Only downside was they kicked us out at 4am :-(........lol

What a great night out, Cleary's is not just for the Irish but for everyone after a good fun night out.The DJ entertained everyone, then there was a live band and one of the best things Live music with a hint of country, Irish and modern day sounds. It does get very full and very busy around 10p and being St Patricks day made it all the more livery. Thanks to all who made it a great night. Popped in with friends for the first time ever when on our way home from somewhere else last Saturday night, a cold December night outside and a warm friendly atmosphere inside this pub. Beer prices are reasonable, the pub is clean and tidy with friendly staff and customers. There was live music on during our visit and if we'd had a taxi we'd have liked to have stayed longer, worth another visit.
