Clayton Fish & Chips in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Used the chippy for many years and it's always been decent enough and cheap in comparison to others. But when you've got a battered fish darker than the sausage because it's been massively overcooked, trying to cut through the cardboard like batter....you know you're in for a bad one! Very disappointed that the chef thought it would be ok to serve and send me that. Won't be going again. What a waste of money.

Nice flaky pieces of white cod fish covered in a crispy batter - fish lovers will love this! I do! Recently we started chippy Wednesdays and the family order an array of different dishes...we've being going for over 10 years (on and off), the staff are great and it's always a pleasure visiting...keep up the good work Seabridge.

Ordered 4 meals on uber eats from this chip shop. The food was delivered on time. However me, my wife and daughter ordered the same meal pudding and chips 2 with curry sauce , 1 with gravy. My daughters was disgusting it smelt and tasted off & ended up in the bin. Won't be ordering from here again.
