Great staff, great owner, couldn’t ask for better! Keep smashing it guys!

I called there tonight and ordered 2 fritters,battered beef burger and gravy. It was disgusting the burger was inedible and the lot went in the bin.If I didn’t live so far away I would have taken it back to show them how bad it was.Never again.

Fish and chips you enjoy eating

I came all the way from London to get some authentic chips and curry sauce. And I wasn’t disappointed. The chips were delicious and the curry sauce out of this world. My drive back home to london was one with a full belly! Thanks. 👍

Fantastic place used a few times, enormous portions and blimmin delicious!! If you are passing and fancy Fish and Chips, get them from here!! You won't be disappointed, highly recommended indeed, oh and very reasonable prices to boot! What's not too like🤔

Fantastic local chippy with everything else from burgers to kebabs and more. Friendly helpful staff, always busy from afternoon through till evening, that says it all. Great food, great prices, highly recommended

Food always cold/lukewarm. Had sausage and chips and fish chips & peas. Drove a 3 minute drive home and yet again it was cold. Went straight in the bin. Cold once too often I’m afraid., won’t be returning again.

Excellent chippy best around here

Had two large battered sausages and they were awful. Batter was beyond burnt and an horrendous taste. Some of the chips were raw. Been going here for a while but past year or so the batter has been horrendous on everything they batter, way too over cooked and real greasy. Will be going elsewhere now. The staff are polite and friendly but food has gone down bank big time.

Not been to the Fisherman's Catch in many years. The chips were great, really enjoyed them. The curry sauce wasn't great, not spicey. Will deffo be back again

Only chippy I could find open on a Sunday. Prices are average, food is also average. Would recommend the gravy though.

Don't know where these "amazing" reviews come from, I've tried this place twice and I'd agree with the negative reviews. Your standards must be low to enjoy this place.

Absolutely great service, nice staff and didn't have to wait that long. Ordered donner meat and chips large, and chips and gravy small. Gave me too many chips, but hay, im, definitely not complaining, Great food and nice staff, ill come again.

Been open a long time, always really nice chips. Good portions and prices, especially the specials board. Sometimes busy but that shows its nice food. Place is very clean and the staff also are friendly.

Terrible service. Rude staff. Was totally ignored. Stood at the counter for 10 mins and it was like I wasn't even there. A lady walked in and got served instantly. Disgusting. Never step foot in there again. Dirty place also. Dusty and greasy

Disgusting service and rude staff. The fry cook looked like he needed a shower. At least he was cleaner than the Establishment. The most disorganized chaotic free for all I've ever seen. Three customers came in after me and got served before me. I left empty handed which I'll count as a blessing as the food looked undercooked and sloppy. YUK!!!!

Fishermans Catch is a clean, attactive fast food venue, with unhelpful, foul moutheed and ignorant staff. We called in for Chicken & Chips, but were told that they didn't want to do them because they closed in 5 minutes (actually, it was 20 minutes before closing). This involved a lot of head shaking, shouting and swearing from the staff who, let's face it, were just too LAZY to be bothered with the inconvenience of serving customers. So we never did get to try the food, but certainly got a good feel for the quality of the staff. Best give this one a miss.

This restaurant is absolutely exceptional, fish is always cooked to perfection with a crispy batter and prices are fantastic value , me and my friends dordi and callum are regulars and often enjoy a trip here , shame its no longer the corner but will always hold a special place in my heart

go there most of the time to get some food and i love how they do it. by 8 to 9 they have some food made there ready for if you couldnt get there on time. not all things are there but i dont complain! they are all friendly and ready to take ur orders, aswell as others to. I practically love the place.

Spent £21 for four adults here, as you can see, battered burger, batter not cooked, fish tasted lovely but crikey sort your packaging out, all the batter stuck to the paper, just ended up with a plate of broken up fish with mashed batter scraped off the paper, not great for how much it was

Nice extensive takeaway menu including Fish & Chips, burgers, chicken portions etc. Friendly effecient staff and excellent portion sizes! Parking can be tricky during busy times but the food and pricing make it worth finding a spot close by.

Stunning fish and chips last night! I’m not a regular as I like to have fish and chips when I’m at the seaside but they were the best I’ve had ........ maybe become a regular 😀 and the staff were fab xxx
