Awesome place, Great food, perfect service. I am sorry to see you leaving, I wish you will re open again soon... this was my favorite restaurant, it is just a bit far from the center

Setup is nice but the lack of staff also the lamb curry dish was awful. Also the restaurant has no parking for customers either but thats not a big deal.

Firstly, I really liked the restaurant, very beautiful and with a good decoration, the food was very tasty, everything I ordered was very tasty, the service staff were always available and with a lot of respect, it was very good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. For anyone who wants to visit, I recommend it and give it 5 stars, because really everything is perfect out of 10.

I went there with my husband first time after a long day at work. We absolutely loved it. The restaurant was very clean. The 2 girls who served us Hawa & Harriot were very friendly & helpful. The food was delicious and me being quite a particular person when it comes to food, I could not fault it. Fatima

Went with family,service and food was ok, really nice resturant, just couple of reccomendations as firstly it took a long while for food to come and then one of the dishes which was supposed to have been butter chicken was cooked with RED TIKKA CHICKEN pieces which defeats the purpose of having Butter chicken as it spoils the taste, other than that worth visit as staff and atmosphere were really good. Will defo visit again.

Wanted to try this place. I'm glad i did. Staff was amazing, friendly, sorry the girl who took our and looked after us didn't catch her name. Me and my friends and I loved the butter chicken. Definitely, next time I am in, Leicester will pop in.

We took our children to this restaurant. They had the kids meal which looked so old (chips and nuggets) and then the the next day the children had diarrhoea. Service wasn’t great either. Naan was hard as a brick and the paneer was not edible. Everything else was just standard. Also it definitely is not worth the Price. Would not recommend.

Absolutely loved eating here with my family. The staff were attentive and made sure we were accommodating and the food was very authentic Bangladesh cuisine. The karak chai was yummy. We will be back :)

Food was average. Think there are alot better places to eat in Leicester. Seekh kebabs had a smell to them and seemed to be shop bought frozen kebabs. Baklava was a tiny square piece with a spoon of ice cream.

Decent food nice deco and workers however very heavy on the cooking oil!

Came here with family for dinner, the decor is so well thought out , staff were so friendly and of course food was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are in Leicester and want South Asian inspired food.

Firstly I would say the food was pretty tasty. I came with a large group and most of us were satisfied with the taste and portion sizes. The staff were pretty friendly, polite and very patient. Location is pretty good too, a short walk away from London road. Only downside was due to our large group the food was being served at inconsistent times, which was frustrating.

Tasteless bland food. Don’t waste your time or money

They don’t have samosa chaat on their menu but if you ask for it they’ll make it for you, definitely the best samosa chaat I’ve ever had, I’ve been back 3 times in a week just for that. The biryani is also amazing.

Went last week Biryani was bland- not enough salt- the chef was very rude and didn’t hear our thoughts on the bland biryani which had lots and lots of celery/coriander stalks all over - raw. He didn’t listen. The chef made us upset and said this is how it’s meant to be and said he would not refund us- we didn’t even ask for a refund at this point. we did not ask for the chef but the manager- it was very awkward speaking to the chef about his cooked food but we felt forced to do so. Interior is very nice though. Sadly the waiters also said to us that they felt awkward when they were supposed to help us and said they’re “new” but did apologise. Overall awkward, dissatisfying experience for an expectation of going out for a good dinner.

Lovely food - Butter chicken & cheese naan combo was delicious. Also the crispy chicken special was lovely. Will defo be visiting again !

First time going to this restaurant. Great service from start to finish also food was really good and tasty. This place is wheelchair friendly which is a very rare for a Indian restaurant thank you. Keep it up

Interior was really cute and aesthetically pleasing! ♡ Great vibe, wasn't too loud and chaotic and tables were decently spaced out~ The staff weren't great at communicating... didnt really understand that I didn't want to order halwa with my Indian breakfast and asked if they could replace it with dhal or potato Bhaji. They agreed but they still came out with the wrong order and I had to embarrassingly send it back with a waiter who didn't understand what I meant... The bread on the english breakfast wasn't even toasted, it was just white bread slices with butter. Waited approximately 40 minutes for the food to come out and it wasn't even busy. And the food still came out cold. The tea was in a small clay pot which was cute but it was quite small, the tea was only filled half way.... The Karak tea was really nice though!! ♡ The Shakshuka came out hot and was really nice. But the 2 half toast slices weren't enough nor toasted.... again, just white bread and butter. Overall wouldn't really go again as it was over priced and really wasn't worth the money or the hassle of misunderstandings. but it's good for the pictures and the aesthetic. Wouldn't really recommend. There are better breakfast places for better value and portions.

Best Indian Food, The Taste will surely remind you of India. Must Visit.

Went in with the wife for breakfast/brunch at 11am on a Saturday. Lovely decor, nice choice on the menu. I had the full English (difference between the small is that you get half the sausage, macon, eggs etc) which was nice, sausage processed. Mrs had the desi breakfast with mung daal, roti and said its the best she's had. Service was friendly, value was OK (chai a little small) will be coming back to try the dinner.

Best food in Leicester!! Accidentally came across this place when driving though Leicester and it was the best find ever. Me and my boyfriend had a clay pot dish and the lamb chops, everything was super fresh, with amazing seasoning- the chicken piece in the clay pot rice literally melts in your mouth. Staff are really polite, bring a jug of water even without requesting, always checking if everything is okay and letting you know how long the food is going to be. Also pretty cheap compared to a lot of places & very accommodating to special requests. We will be back (even though we live in Loughborough)!!

Had a great meal here, and I do recommend! We ordered the following: Beef Curry Lamb Biryani Chilli Paneer/Mogo Chilli Prawns First of all, the portions were generous. Indo-Chinese was nice, with a good amount of protein. The beef curry was tender, slow cooked, and is something I would certainly recommend. The lamb biryani was actually a biryani, and whilst it wasn't a 10/10 biryani, it was still a proper biryani and very enjoyable. Good portion of meat, great aroma and well cooked. Food in the clay pots was an interesting experience, and possibly contributed to the food tasting nicer. The staff here are amazing, and the manager was very attentive. He also gave the little ones a free portion of fries. I'd definitely visit here again, recommend you try it.

Ordered a mixed grill platter for starters and for mains a clay pot lamb curry and a clay pot lamb biryani Mixed grill platter contained the following items.. sheekh kebabs, chicken wings, hariyali chicken, lamb chops and chicken tikka The mixed grill items tasted very nice but unfortunately can't be said for the the mains. The biryani was bland and the lamb curry was flavourless which was very disappointing.

Lovely meal, drinks and dessert. Staff were great and welcoming. I asked for crispy waffle dessert and it was spot on! Can't wait to try the other items on the menue

Dined in with family and friends and we were delighted with the service, everyone were attentive but not nosy, we were treated like regulars though it was our first time. I felt like they were all shareholders of the business with one goal, to make it prosper. I did not see any heirarchical atmosphere, just teamwork. The price were reasonable and competitive. Their biryani was sumptuous. We ordered chicken and lamb dishes, although it was not delightful, it met my expectation and still recommended. (My companions liked them though) The place was spacious enough for small to medium gatherings. The interior design was instagrammable. I love that they have place to pray and would appreciate it if there will be info of qibla direction for newcomers and if it can be cleaner on our next visit. I'm looking forward to seeing them using cloth towels for cleaning the tables with the disinfectant instead of towel tissues, good for the business and environment and still hygienic.

Newly opened restaurant. It was my 1st visit to this place. I am very much delighted. Warm welcome by staff, they were friendly and made us sit as soon as we entered. The manager has good knowledge of food and is very attentive even staff wearing smile throughout our visit. The ambience is great, looks very decent, everything is well placed, lighting is sober and feel fine dining experience here. Good quantity of food, taste is delicious and prices are reasonable. Tried some mocktails and no disappointment at all. The grilled meal was well cooked, and the exact mix of spices. Claypot biryani was yummy, tasted such a good biryani after a long time in restaurant, made me lick my fingers. Very nice place to visit with friends and family. There are tables for large and small groups. If you are a foodie and love good food, then this is a definite visit for you. Claypot experience is best.

I loved the place, location food atmosphere and most importantly the wonderfu staff theyv were very well behaved and corporative. A special thanks to Miss KAMSIN..She served food very well .we like the way she treated us..we almost felt that we had dinner at our home. Thak you so much . Really good experience lovely food from starters to main courses definately going again and again

So today we decided to try out this new place opened locally. The decor is really cute ☺️ and the food was lovely. We ordered the chilli prawns 🍤 masala chilli chips and wings for starters. For mains we got the clay pot chicken curry and naan. Everything was delicious, the wings were slightly under cooked however the waiters rectified it immediately and the managers were very apologetic. All the waiters are so pleasant especially aaysha she looked after us. Would definitely recommend this place. 9/10

Really nice restaurant and good food. We ordered the mixed grilled platter for two (even though we were three) and the chilli paneer. There was plenty of food which we had and some leftovers too. The main (chicken tikka) was good too and everything was given on time and was fresh and hot. Mocktails were really nice and a decent price too compared to some other places around the area. The service was great and all the staff were helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend and come again.

Recently been to Clay Pot, have to say its very nicely done up and ambience is very good. We ordered the mix kebab, Peri peri fries and Hide and seek Biryani. The mix kebab was good, it consisted of seekh kebab, chicken tikka, lamb chops and wings. Good portion and most of the items were tasty. We ordered Peri fries thinking they would come with the mix kebab but they came with the biryani. I'm sure they would know that fries would be ate with kebabs and not biryani, maybe I should have specified this. However the fries just had a little peri salt on, it was more plain fries. The biryani was ok, nothing special. The portion was very big though. Overall decent place, service was good. Parking is an issue. Portions are good, prices are reasonable, however do think they could improve the taste. Would go again to try the curries.

I went with my grandfather. Very nice dips, Daal and mix platter. Would definitely recommend as a 5 star restaurant. My mojito was nice and lemony. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Price was excellent for the quality of the food. Loved this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went here on Saturday evening for my Birthday dinner and everything was incredible. The service the food the decor it was all perfect. Nothing was too much to ask for, they even made us dishes which were not on the menu (butter chicken and butter paneer) and did it all with a smile on their faces. Special shout out to Aaysha our wonderful waitress who went above and beyond and the manager for making sure we all had a great time and taking the time to speak with us. We will definitely be returning to this Beautiful Restaurant. Thank you guys again soooo much!

Went here on Tuesday ambience was nice. Ordered chicken biryani and chicken curry, was a but dissappointed with the curry as the meat was on the bone, there was a leg piece a small piece if chicken and there were three chicken necks in there. For the price we paid think this was a but of a con. Mocktails were okay but mine was served in a wine glass it was supposed to be cotton candy but couldnt taste that at all. Giving it three stars as staff were attentive and place nicely done up, however not sure whether its somewhere i would return too.

No one in this area makes clay pot food.. You can feel that clay taste in the food. Very nice loved it... Please try this restaurant once you will love it.
